Lasers based on the double-clad fibers fabricated in IREE AS CR

In this artical the fiber lasers using double-clad fibers as an active medium, fabricated in IREE AS CR are presented. This fibers are doped by erbium and ytterbium ions with different concentration ratio. These fibers have also different lateral structure like refractive index profile or material of secondary cladding. For these fibers the optimal lenght, maximum power and efficiency of linear resonator in configuration without external reflected components were found.
Optical fibers for chemical sensing

The paper deals with performance of optical fibers for the development of chemical fibers. In its first part, there are physical basis shown are employed for the sensor design. Characteristics of particular types of fibers used in fiber-optic chemical sensors, namely polymer-clad silica /PCS/ fibers, sectorial fibers or fibers with special graded-index profiles are discussed in the next parts of the paper.
Measurement of chromatic dispersion and berifringence of microstructure optical fibers

Chromatic dispersion characterization of the microstructure optical fibres /MOF/ using the interferometric method is shown on several fibre samples. The differences from the measurement of standard single mode fibres are discussed.
