Evaluation of Zippy's friends for primary school age children
Masařová, Anna
The thesis focuses on the Zippy's Friends prevention program, which is aimed at promoting social skills among children between 5-7 years of age. The first part of the thesis presents the theoretical framework for the main practical part. The goal was to conduct an evaluation of the implementation of this programme. The thesis is focused on alternative uses of the methodology and application. The data was obtained through semi-structured interviews with five respondents. The research shows that working with the methodology is not just a matter of the teacher within the classroom, but it involves a wider sphere of professionals working with children. In practice, the methodology is used not only for children between 5-7 years of age, but also for older children with various specificities. According to the respondents, some flexibility in working with the methodology and adapting it to the needs of specific children seems to be effective. According to interviewees, the Zippy's Friends methodology is a very versatile tool that can be used in different ways. However, the essence of the programme in the form of "Zippy Tips" and the Zippy's Friends story remains in most cases. Despite the fact that none of the evaluations conducted so far have dealt directly with alternative uses, some similar conclusions...

Masařová, Anna ; Sotáková, Hana (advisor) ; Pavlas Martanová, Veronika (referee)
The bachelor thesis is focused on a student with special needs in classroom. The theoretical part is devoted to the key concepts of my work: student with special needs and a classroom. I deal with the progress of a young schoolchild, classroom as a social group, diagnostics of classroom and students with special needs in connection with the current legislation and support methods they deserve. The aim of my work is to find out what is the social position of students with special needs within the classroom. So, in the empirical part I first searched the social position of students with special needs within the classroom, namely in two fourth grade classrooms, which includes one or more students with special needs. The research was performed at two different schools. For this purpose, I used Braun's questionnaire B-3. Then I made a semi-structured interview with class teachers. In interpreting the data, I focused on whether the social position of students with special needs differs significantly from the social position of other students in the classroom and what factors may cause it. For some of these students, a different social position within the class was found, while others did not significantly differ. The acceptance of this student by other classmates and his social status in the classroom is...

The aim of the diploma thesis was to evaluate the performance of commercial broiler chicken genotypes Ross 308, Cobb 500 and Hubbard F15. Parental test consisted of parent rearing up to the age of 22 weeks, the laying period up to the age of 62 weeks and from fattening progeny tests (lasting for 35 days or else 42 days). Hybrid Ross 308 chickens reached the highest live weight at the end of the rearing period. Hubbard F15 chickens had the lowest feed consumption per head and day and also the lowest mortality rate. Hybrid Hubbard F15 showed the highest number of hatched chickens per 1 laying hen (137.2 pcs), the lowest feed consumption per head and day (149.4 g) and the highest fertility of hatching eggs (9,2 %). Hybrid Ross 308 showed the highest weight of hatching eggs and live weight at the end of the laying period (cockerels 5 029 g, pullets 4 310 g). Cobb 500 cockerels (2 397 g) and Hubbard F 15 pullets (2 145 g) showed the highest live weight during the 35 day fattening period. The highest breast weight was at the hybrid Cobb 500 (516.9 g) and the thighs weight was the highest at Hubbard F15 (511.9 g). The highest carcass yield was observed at hybrid Cobb 500 (76.30%). During the extended fattening period of 42 days had the highest live weight cockerels Ross 308 (3 096 g), Cobb 500 and Hubbard F15 pullets (2 688 g and 2 682 g). The highest breast weight was observed at hybrid Ross 308 (697.0 g) and thighs weight at hybrid Hubbard F15 (707.6 g). The highest carcass yield was at hybrid Hubbard F15 (78.0%).
Analysis of a growing ability of the chicken hybrid in the chosen company
MASÁROVÁ, Anna
The bachelor thesis deals with the use of potential growth ability of commercial broiler Ross 308.27,100 chickens were enrolled in the summer batch and it was finished after 36 days of fattening. 26,500 chickens were in the winter batch and it was finished at the age of 37 days. Although hybrids in the summer batch were one day younger, they achieved better fattening parameters. Their average final live weight was 140 g higher and feed consumption per 1 kg weight gain was 14 g lower. The mortality in the summer batch was 2.24% and 4% in the winter batch. 100 individuals were weighed everyday during fattening period. External influences, particularly temperature and feeding technique, that was not optimal, caused that the absolute difference in the live weight at the end of the batch reached 72 g in the summer batch and 491 g in the winter batch in comparison with the technical guidelines. The average coefficient of variation for the whole fattening period was in the summer batch 9.3% (moderate uniform flock) and in the winter batch was 12.9% (a little uniform flock).
