Software based optical cable documentation
Martínek, Michal ; Křepelka, Václav (referee) ; Filka, Miloslav (advisor)
The focus of this work is a description of search-optic cables and cables stored in the Earth's surface suitable method and the possibility of registration of the optical paths and components in the ArcGIS geographic information system. The work set out in detail the different types of optical fibers and principles listed in the wiring examples most commonly used cables. There are additional elements used in the construction of optical networks, whether the individual connectors, hubs, etc., as well as protection features most often used for distribution of optical cables. There are also examples given options stowages routes and laying cables, and most currently with the possibility to discover a practical listing and description of these search engines non-metallic elements. The work also focuses on how these elements efficiently record to go to them quickly and easily access and simplify their close location in real space, to ensure unwanted destructive interruption, or any repair, expansion, etc.
The Lighting Equipment Used in Modern Vehicles and the Measurement of the Range of Visibility of the Main Headlights
Martínek, Michal ; Kropáč, František (referee) ; Vémola, Aleš (advisor)
This magister’s thesis is about modern lighting of vehicles, the visual range and afterglow in poor visibility. The first part of the thesis provides a detailed analysis of the current situation and problems, including a comprehensive description of the sources of light radiation, lamps, structures, and describe the systems used in modern lighting technology of vehicles. In the second part of the thesis there are the scientific methods to determine the issue of visual range and afterglow of the headlights. The second part is about the application of acquired techniques to detect an afterglow and the visual range of vehicles with modern headlights with a light source with xenon lamp, compared with a vehicle with a halogen lamp and a vehicle with an older halogen headlight.

Modern Communication and Social networks during working hours
Martínek, Michal ; Kašparová, Eva (advisor) ; Ticháková, Zuzana (referee)
This work consists of use of modern communication and social networks during the working hours of Czech employees. I mainly focus on networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn and those of competitive corporations such as Microsoft and Google. Having been introduced to the functionality of these networks, I took a further look into their practical use of employees. Within the frame of my scientific research I have come up with three hypotheses which were consequently compared with the results of my questionnaire which had been previously filled in by carefully chosen employees. The aim of these hypotheses was to find out which networks and for what purposes they were used by the employees in their working time. The last hypothesis was focused on the opinion of respondents on increase of efficiency of their work through these networks. The result of this research is that the employees use various networks for working and personal purposes in working time while they mainly use them for personal purposes. Majority of respondents is convinced that the communication networks would increase their working efficiency.
