The aim of this diploma thesis is to find proper use of object at Kapitulská 22 street in Trnava, Slovakia. Object is located in the close city centre, in its historical context. According to this I tried to keep current character of place and add new function which will use its potential. In line with current escalating problem of oncological diseases I decide to built there Maggie’s centre – community centre for people which suffer from an kind of it. Centre provides them with a platform where they can meet, change experiences and spend time during activities which is fitted to them. Peoples can find there professional psychological help and support from people with same destiny. In my design I use current object which is faced to street as service part with accommodation of clients. To this part I added community centre itself. Centre is separated into five modules which are connected by main corridor. Everywhere between this module if designed gardens and whole this area is roofed by transparent construction to keep it usable whole year.

Homestead Rychaltice
Vlček Ličková, Nina ; Mašek, Radomír (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
In the novice hill Beskydy foothills and the plane Ostrava landscape huddle village Rychaltice. This residence is a part of Hukvaldy. It´s here the important connnection with the "landscape of Leoš Janáček." Poetry and Mysticism by this Czech composer was able to catch in his symphonies, are already very slightly visible. The surviving fragments of the original buildings, cottages, farmsteads and barns talking about agricultural tradition of the area. Despite the high activity of collective agriculture and the building tendencies of the past and today, can be found a small piece of land for traditional cultivation. Remains of the old building – a barn that was in II. World War II bomb blast halved in two peaces. Four stone pillars of the original structure were built in cottage. Extant fragment barn belongs, is today on the neighbor's property. The project look into cider house, family house and other. , following the survivors of the barn. The task of the work is to achieve a compact, self-sufficiency and friendliness agricultural area to the surrounding landscape. Homestead should be not only the farmer dwelling, but also a place for hiking, cycling, horse riding. Location in Podbeskydí, near the castle Hukvaldy and good transport links to the main roads, it is the perfect place. The project has however also bring something more - support traditional livelihood and sensitive landscape management.
Cekyne, district of Prerov
Hlavičková, Alžběta ; Dehner, Lubomír (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
The village of Cekyne is officially registered as a district of the city of Prerov. Village centre consists of the square which is the oldest part of the village. This work is mainly focused on revitalization of the square. It contains small urban interventions like lamps, bus stop, greenery and one major architectural element - community housing for seniors. Until early 1980’s, there’re country houses surrounding the square from all sides. Since then, there’s been a self-service shop which disrupts the rural character of the village. Today the shop is closed and the building, where the shop sited, is deteriorating. The condition of this building and disturbed appearance of the square were the main reasons why I decided to bring a new life to the village centre through the community house for seniors. The concept of the community house is based on typical country houses which had formed the village square in the past. The community house is intended for active old generation as well as people who need professional care. Neighborly ties are the mainstay of this community housing.
Design of vacuum chamber an equipment for vacuum casting process

The main aim of this thesis is to make a design of a vacuum casting chamber. The first part of this thesis is based on a research of the vacuum casting chamber which is available on the market, subsequently a thorough analysis of the casting process and key construction elements of the device is made. Most of the thesis focuses on making of a new construction design of the new device. At the end of the thesis economic evaluation and risk analysis is carried out.
Design of a multi-tasking machine tool
Macek, Robin ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of a selected structural part of multi-tasking machine tool. The solved construction part is the design of a turning table with the possibility of positioning with specified parameters. The research part is focused on CNC machine tools, multi-tasking machine tools and individual parts of turning tables with possible positioning. In a design part, the design of design variants of possible solutions is made and the choice of the design solution is made with the help of multicriteria analysis. Subsequently, the selected design solution is processed with the help of the necessary technical calculations. The result of the work is then a 3D model and the required drawing documentation.
STABILITY ANALYSIS OF CUTTING PROCESS OF MACHINE TOOL WITH RESPECT TO CHATTER
Vetiška, Jan ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Singule, Vladislav (referee) ; Březina, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis deals with building and utilization of mechatronic models which are based on modeling of system of rigid and flexible bodies. Such models are then used for analysis of behavior of complex systems, for instance machine tools. The work is concentrated on analysis of self-excitation of a machine tool. The appearance of the self-excitation during the machining may be influenced by several methods described in the work. The evaluation of the appearance of the self-excitation is analyzed via so called lobe diagram. It is necessary to know transfer function describing the impact of acting forces on the deformation of the system (machine tool in this case) for compilation of the lobe diagram. The whole structure of the model shows compliant behavior which dramatically influences the transfer function thus the approach to the modeling of mechanical parts as flexible bodies is proposed. There are created models of modally reduced flexible bodies based on modified CAD models which have same modal properties as non-reduced FEM models up to the maximal excitation frequency. The reduced models have significantly lower number of degrees of freedom and it is possible to work with them in multi-body simulation tools and at the same time they contain the information about the deformations. The work utilizes Graig-Bamton method which is implemented to the ANSYS. The whole model is consequently built and analyzed in ADAMS. It is possible to export the linearized model of the system in form of state matrices which are used for writing of the transfer function. The conditions of stability of the machining process are then evaluated via the lobe diagram. The proposed thesis presents the modeling of mechatronic systems with stiff and rigid bodies. The approach may be used for analysis of machining tools as well as for development of advanced mechatronic systems with active damping, etc.

Office building on Květná street in Brno
Dvořáček, Zdeněk ; Rosa, Martin (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
The newly built office building in an exclusive residential suburb of Brno is a worthy partner to the villa from the thirties of the last century. The layout is based on the contrast of the surrounding built-up area. Its sharp and clean lines are dissimilar from the round forms of the neighbouring villa. The minimalist concept frees of the classical façade articulation. However it most respects other neighbouring buildings with its dimension arrangement.
