Few-Body Systems with Non-Zero Strangeness
Donoval, Jan ; Mareš, Jiří (advisor) ; Čížek, Martin (referee)
In this work, we studied the Kd scattering length. We formulated the Faddeev equations in the AGS form for the Kd system. We performed three-body Faddeev calculations in the s-wave approximation in the isospin basis. We studied the sensitivity of the Kd scattering length on the two-body inputs. Our results are reasonably close to the values of previous calculations.
Luminescence spectroscopy of impurities in fast oxide scintillators
Kučerková, Romana ; Kučera, Miroslav (advisor) ; Mareš, Jiří A. (referee)
In the present work we studied the dependence on concentration gallium ion in single crystal LGAG: Pr a LuAG: Pr, prepared by ,,micro-pulling down,, method (-PD) at Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan. -PD method allows growing a single crystal using small amount of row material, typically less than 1 g, in time period of one day because of very high growth speed up to 20mm/min. Scintillation materials are necessary for a number of applications (e.g. medicine), in which high spatial resolution is required. The aim of this work was to measure luminescence and scintillation characteristics of the Pr3+ doped -PD grown Lu3Al5O12 single crystal host. The absorption, photo- and radioluminescence spectra and both photoluminescence and scintillation decay curves were measured. The photoluminescence decay curves was single-exponetial characterized by a lifetime around 17ns. Slow components were present in the scintillation decay curves. This is a consequence of retrapping of the charge carriers on electron traps connected with the anti-site defects, which are generally present in Czochralski od -PD grown aluminium garnets. On the other hand, they are completely supressed in the liquid-phase-epitaxy grown single crystalline films due to lower growth temperature. Excitation spectra of the 5d-4f luminescence completely...
The effect of legislative changes in nursing practice towards the job of general nurses
Vlasáková, Dita ; Mareš, Jiří (advisor) ; Antonová, Radmila (referee) ; Ulrychová, Hana (referee)
In 2007, Czech Republic joined the European Union. This fact significantly modified the practice of general nurses due to obligatory introduction of several changes in laws, which are relevant to their job and to the nursing in general. In this thesis, an attempt was made to map acceptance of the new requirements and duties that come from the changed legislation and to evaluate obedience and utilization of the new norms among nurses and possible effect on their jobs. Also, comparison was performed of working conditions of general nurses across different healthcare providers in relation to the variety of public or private healthcare providers. In total, 291 nurses from 7 healthcare providers in Czech Republic took place in this research.
Communication with hospitalized senior
Šimůnek, Viktor ; Havel, Eduard (advisor) ; Machalová, Iva (referee) ; Mareš, Jiří (referee)
This bachelor's work deals the communication with hospitalized elderlies. The theoretical part adverts to the phenomena which influence the communication process. It is concerned with problems in an old age in the context of hospitalization of seniors and proposes to optimal methods of communication. Two types of anonymous question-forms form the basis of this work. One is determined to the hospitalized elderlies and the other to the nursing staff. The research probes how the nursing staff manage to communicate with hospitalized elderlies and how are the seniors satisfied with such communication. The research proceeded in two smaller health care facilities.
Ideal and real teacher of nursing by the eyes of the student of nursing college
Kamenská, Alena ; Mareš, Jiří (advisor) ; Nerudová, Irena (referee) ; Kyasová, Miroslava (referee)
Bachelor's thesis on the topic "Ideal and real teacher of nursing by the eyes of a Nursing College student" is the work theoretically experimental. In its theoretical part proposes approaching to specifice of nursing educational system, Nursing College students and thein vocational teachers. It tries to characterize the vocational teacher's personality on the strength of scientific characteristics and research dealing with the study of personality which is applied to specifics of vocational teacher's profession. Experimental part of the thesis is centred on the characteristic of an ideal and real teacher of nursing on the strength of information received from a questionnaire filled in by Nursing College students. We used a questionnaire " Interactive style of teacher" for our research which was adapted on the strength of work T. Wubbelse and J. Levy by J. Mareš and P. Gavora.
Quality of life children with installation ventricle-peritoneal shunt
Kramářová, Lenka ; Mareš, Jiří (advisor) ; Králová, Miroslava (referee) ; Nováková, Jitka (referee)
The goal of bachelor's thesis is to analyze quality of life children wiht hydrocephalus with installation ventricle-peritoneal shunt. In the thesis there are given detais on problems, which arise from leave hospital and treatment at home. Thesis inqure problem 's influence on quality of life illness children and their families. A quantitative oservational study is made of questionnaire that include 9 parts about future children 's life. Physical effort was researched on diseased children from neurosurgery clinic.
Death - from ZZS (First - aid service) staffer's point of view
Kubišová, Michaela ; Kutnohorská, Jana (advisor) ; Mareš, Jiří (referee) ; Hadaš, Lubomír (referee)
This bachelor work is about complete evaluation of death from the medical first- aid service worker's point of view. It concentrates on determination of feelings hierarchy of the medical first - aid service worker during meeting with the death, during patient's death subsiding, furthermore it concentrates on aggression as a reaction to the death from the survivors' side and on the medical first - aid service workers' attitude towards their own mortality. A qualitative part and a quantitative anonymous experimental part are the ground of this work. I evaluated two different types of death, that have an influence on mental state of the medical first- aid workers, by means of two case studies in the qualitative part. I made evaluation immediately after an acute stressful situation and later on after about a half of a year.I evaluated perception of death by the first - aid service worker in the quantitative experimental part by means of an anonymous question-form. My testing sample consists of these first - aid service workers - namely a driver, a driver - rescuer, a medical rescue worker, a nurse with PPS - ARIP, IP. Within the framework of my bachelor work I addressed 110 respondents who gave me back 108 properly filled question-forms.
The role of fear in invasive treatment
Hylčerová, Iveta ; Mareš, Jiří (advisor) ; Rybářová, Marie (referee) ; Švecová, Dagmar (referee)
This bachelor's thesis is discussing the role of fear in invasive treatment. This work is intended in particular for nurses. The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to evaluate sensation of fear in patients with the diagnosis of carpal or cubital tunnel syndrome, in relation to an invasive treatment (operation). In the theoretical part were described and defined terms fear, anxiety, phobia, pain, maturity and age, resumed facts about carpal and cubital tunnel syndromes, their symptoms, diagnostics, treatment, and care of the patients after the operative treatment.
