SMS Solution for e-Commerce and Its Real Deployment
Piják, Lukáš ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This diploma thesis is based around SMS module for free e-commerce solution. Because of big amount of e-commerce platforms, this dissertation focuses on creating generic solution of SMS module, which will be easily modifiable across individual platforms. The SMS module is used to notify administrators or customers about order changes. Module also contains effective SMS marketing tool, which allows, for a low price, targeting ads in a form of SMS. Including a whole lot of other functions, like statistics, history of outcoming messages, optional language mutation and other settings requested by customers.
Vehicle Classification Using Radar
Raszka, Aleš ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
This Master thesis deals with usage of radar signal for vehicle classification. The thesis uses radar modules with continuous wave based on Doppler effect. Radar signal is processed by a series of signal processing method finished by Fourier transform. Data produced by FFT is used to create SVM and AdaBoost classifier which can be used to classify vehicles into groups.
Safe Flight-Control of Drone Based on Sonar Measurements
Benkő, Krisztián ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
Bachaleor's thesis describes design, implementation and testing of anti-crash system for safe flight-control of quadcopter. The system is implemented using ROS framework, where input data from sonars and keyboard are processed, calculation is then performed, output of which is controlling motors. Quadcopter is able to move safely in indoor environment. The emphasis was on speed of calculation and system testing. The quadcopter can be controlled by keyboard.
Radar Active Cruise Control
Rous, Petr ; Široký, Adam (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is dedicated to radar active cruise control. The aim of the work is to implement program logic of the adaptive cruise control system. It describes basic techniques of radar signal processing as well as various difficulties during this process. It is also concerned with methods used for radar objects detection. Withing the work, two different radar modules are compared for their suitability to use as sensors of active cruise control. Finally, implemented system is tested using data collected in real road transport.
Image Compression Using the Wavelet Transform
Přikryl, Lukáš ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Bařina, David (advisor)
The thesis discusses the image compression using the wavelet transform. The compression itself is done by EZW, SPIHT or EBCOT Tier1 algorithms. These algorithms are then compared to JPEG and JPEG2000 standards. Furthermore tiles, various wavelets and RGB and Y'CbCr color spaces were used to determine the influence on an image compression quality.
Radar Sensor for Active Cruise Control
Lacek, Richard ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of the work was to design the implementation of adaptive cruise control with the help of radar as a sensor to evaluate the surroundings in front of the vehicle. The solution used the VCDS-Lite application to determine the current vehicle speed and the Medium Range Radar demo, from Texas Instruments, to capture the surroundings in front of the vehicle with AWR1843 radar. Using these two applications was evaluated the environment in front of the vehicle from which the instruction for a driver was derived. The result of the work is an application that displays the current vehicle speed along with the current adaptive cruise control instruction. In addition to setting the speed, the application also provides a setting of the time interval from the vehicle that follows.
HDR Composition for Dynamic Scene
Martinů, Lukáš ; Musil, Martin (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
Master's thesis is focused on capturing of low dynamic range images using common devices such as camera and its multiple exposure. The main part of thesis is dedicated to composing these images to HDR image, inclusive sequence of images of static scenes, but also dynamic ones. Next part describes tone mapping used for display HDR image on LDR monitors. Moreover, there is given design and implementation of application solving problems mentioned earlier. In the end, the implemented application is evaluated and the possible continuation of this work is stated.
Hexagonal Platform with Servo Control
Korgo, Tomáš ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
Goal of the thesis is to show the possibilities of using ordinary hobbyist RC servos and means of their control by a computer. For demonstration of the capabilities of servos, we have created Stewart platform which is using hobbyist servos to position the platform. In the thesis there is explained principle of the inner working of a servo, their properties, abilities and also means of their control by a computer. In practical chapters of the thesis there is documented process of designing and implementing of functional Stewart platform along with specific properties of this platform which influence its design. This platform is also reviewed and based on the results we will show technical properties of the platform, advantages and disadvantages of using ordinary hobbyist servos to control the platform. Design of the platform and its documentation is created with respect to intent to make the ddesign, source codes, documentation available to public on wepages focused on aggregating of instructables and tutorials to make usage of outputs possible in practice.
Range Measurement Using Radar
Urbánek, Radomír ; Musil, Martin (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement method using radar to distance measurement. The first part describes radar principles. A brief introduction radar signal processing methods and radar techniques for distance measurement as well. The next part describes concept and implementation of system for estimate distance. In the end, the implemented method is evaluated and possible continuation is stated.
Smart Home Control System
Ševčík, Radek ; Fučík, Otto (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with unconventional solutions in the field of home automation systems such as the central unit consisting of a miniature computer. The work includes architecture design, visualisation and control of such system
