Cooperation between a teacher and a teaching assistant at the first stage of primary school.

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of cooperation between a teacher and a teacher's assistant at the first level of elementary school. The theoretical part defines the role of the teaching assistant, the prerequisites for good cooperation between the teacher and the teaching assistant, and the personality requirements of the teaching assistant. The goal of the thesis is to clarify how the cooperation between these two teaching staff currently takes place, including various possibilities for mutual cooperation, which can subsequently positively affect the effectiveness of teaching. In the empirical part, a qualitative scientific method called a semi-structured interview was used. Data were collected from both teachers and teaching assistants at the first level of elementary school. Data saturation was supported by content analysis of school documents. Data analysis was conducted through open coding and other methods appropriate for qualitative scientific methods. Aspects of promoting well-being in primary school with focus on exceptionally gifted students

This thesis focuses on the wellbeing of students in education. Specifically, it concerns pupils of two parallel classes attending a primary school with a specific organization of education for exceptionally gifted pupils. The aim of the paper is to capture the pupil`s subjective feelings in relation to aspects of the school environment that have been implemented to promote pupil`s wellbeing. The first part of the thesis includes a theoretical background that summarizes the knowledge on the issue of wellbeing. It focuses on the aspects that may influence wellbeing in education, taking into account the teaching of exceptionally gifted pupils. The second part of the thesis contains a description and results of the actual research investigation, which was conducted in two stages. The first stage of the research investigation used a quantitative method of data collection through a questionnaire, the respondents were pupils in two parallel classes at a selected primary school. Based on the analysis of the results of the first stage of the research survey, the basis for the questions for the second stage of the research survey was created. Experiencies of plurilinguistic families with educational counselling

This work aims to identify the specifics of plurilingual families with children with special educational needs and to provide insight into their experiences in the field of special education - educational counselling in the Czech Republic. The practical part (5), conducted in a qualitative manner and devoted to individual case studies, interviews with parents, and discussions, is preceded by a theoretical part. Its goals are (1) to outline the issues of language acquisition in children and introduce the reader to the concepts of multilingualism, subsequently multilingual, foreigner, and a child with Czech as additional language as understood by the Czech educational system if it employs these terms. Furthermore, it is essential to address (2) the definition of family in a sociological context with subsequent insights into plurilingual families and organizations that focus on supporting them. The third chapter briefly shed light on (3) the characteristics of the Liberec Region, where the research was conducted. The theoretical part concludes with a chapter (4) addressing special education for plurilingual children in the Liberec Region. Exceptionally gifted pupils with a double exceptionality in the process of primary and secondary education

The diploma thesis focuses on the approach towards pupils with a double exceptionality. The investigated sample is made up of three pupils with a diagnosed exceptional talent parallelly with another handicap, these diagnoses in particular - specific learning disorders, ADHD, behaviour disorders, Asperger's syndrome, debilitation in the social-emotional area, affective instability and increased anxiety. The goal of the diploma thesis is to find out about the teaching methods, describe the procedures and circumstances of education on a sample of three pupils with various matches of exceptional talent and handicap. To observe which procedures have influenced the approaches of the pupil towards aducation. How this pupil has been accepted in a group of peers. To win the answers to the research questions the research was divided into two stages. The first stage includes the analysis of the pupils'personal documents. During the second stage semi-structured interviews with the pupil and their class teacher took place. The results of the interviews were won by means of open coding. Education of pupils with special educational needs through the teachers' eyes at elementary school.

The diploma thesis is focused on the process of pupils with special educational needs at a selected school from the teachers' point of view at the primary school. The subject of interest is based on the teachers of the selected primary school, who provide daily support to pupils with special educational needs in general education. The aim of the work is to explore and evaluate the teachers' point of view on ongoing process of education pupils with special educational needs in the first grade of primary school. Their approaches to pupils, methods and teaching methods are analysed, the support of the school education program is monitored school management within strategic visions and that is mostly from the point of view of teachers working at the first grade. A combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods was chosen to get answers to the research questions. In the first phase, data was collected using a self-constructed questionnaire, in the second stage, semi-structured interviews with teachers were realized, which brought detailed insight into the work of teachers in heterogeneous classes. Teachers Preparedness to Work with Gifted Pupils

This thesis deals with the preparation of early career teachers to work with gifted and exceptionally gifted pupils in primary schools. The aim of the research is to find out how early career teachers are prepared for the education of gifted pupils. The theoretical part describes the issues of gifted and exceptionally gifted pupils in the context of undergraduate teacher education. The theoretical part defines examples related to good practice from abroad. In the theoretical part there are included the possibilities of further education of teachers in this area. In the empirical part of the thesis, the research problem was first set and addressed using a qualitative approach. The design of the research was a case study. The research sample consisted of six respondents. The data collection was carried out through six semi-structured interviews with respondents aged 23 to 27 years and content analysis of the data, which examined the documents of the study programmes of the faculties of education of the universities where the respondents of this research had studied or were still studying. Support for gifted students at eight- or six-year grammar schools

My thesis deals with the education and support of gifted and exceptionally gifted pupils at Czech multi-year gymnasia. The aim of the thesis is to find out how the support of gifted pupils is carried out in multi-year gymnasia we selected and what kind of teaching methods does teachers use when working with these pupils. The thesis consists of two parts. The first part summarizes findings on the issue of gifted students with an emphasis on their characteristics, identification and education. The course of the research investigation is described in the second part of the thesis. The results of the analysis of annual reports and school education programs of selected schools are evaluated here, and the results of the questionnaire survey are also discussed in this section. In addition to the form of support for gifted students at multi-year gymnasia, the connection between the form of support for gifted students with age, length of experience and teachers approval was also investigated. The conclusions of the research indicate that there is still insufficient support for gifted pupils. The methods that were mentioned most often by schools and by teachers are not very suitable for developing talents and supporting gifted students.
