Drug Information Centre service analysis III. Major activity of the DIC is providing expert information about drugs - primarily in the form of answers to various medicines-related enquiries sent by healthcare professionals. DIC deals with enquiries related to general pharmacotherapy including complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). Aim of study: Aim of the study was to evaluate DIC's activity in the period 2015-2017 through feedback from questioners and to analyse enquiries related to CAM in the period 1994-2017. Methods: The feedback of questioners whosent the enquiry to DIC from 2015 to 2017 was obtained using an online questionnaire containing 18 items - sociodemographic data and awareness of DIC, quality of answers to enquiries, satisfaction with provided services and lastly resolving of CAM related issues in practice. Insurance pricing methods based on risk measures

In this thesis we study various risk measures and one of their characteristics - the coherence. We talk especially about value-at-risk (VaR in short), respectively about conditional value-at- risk (CVaR). We also mention the advantage of CVaR against VaR. After that we discuss the most common forms of compound distribution that are used in practice. The final part of this bachelor thesis is dedicated to a numerical study where we calculate mean, variance, VaR a CVaR for specific values of parameters.

We can encounter DRP in every general practitioner's - GPs - office all around the world. But with proper cooperation between practitioners and pharmacists we could reduce the number of problems. That would be big benefit for patients and health system as well. In addition to pregnancy planning and other non-contraceptional benefits, it also has certain risks. Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is used primarily for treatment of estrogen deficiency in postmenopausal women. HRT is associated with a number of risks, in particularly for women 60+ of age. Department: Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Charles University Background and aim: A drug-related problem (DRP) has been defined as an event or circumstance involving drug therapy that actually or potentially interferes with desired health outcomes [1]. The theoretical background chapter is aimed to give a detailed description of selected studies dealing with drug-related problems in various settings. The retrospective cross- sectional study, described in the experimental part of the thesis, was carried out in order to identify, classify and assess DRPs in a rehabilitation facility and to discuss the results with a physician and subsequently determine intervention acceptance rate. Methods: The data were collected during a nine-day-long audit in three wards of a rehabilitation facility in the Czech Republic through a review of medical documentation. Self-regulation Motives of Czech Journalists along with Routine Professional Decision

Diploma thesis "Self-regulation Motives of Czech Journalists along with Routine Professional Decision" deals with regulators which show up in daily pofessional work of journalists at present, i.e. in period when this diploma thesis was written. Motives and influences of each regulator are examined in sample of three nationwide publishers - Mlada fronta Dnes, Pravo and Lidove noviny. Sixteen journalists participated in this survey, which was made in period from March, 16th 2008 to May, 5th 2008. This work is focused on Codes of Conduct (Codes of Ethics) of the surveyed publishers and explores their effects on professional manners of each editor. Furthermore, this diploma thesis is also about journalists personal professional limits which work as personal self-regulators. It investigates what is excusable for editors and what is not, within the survey. This diploma thesis answers on question which regulators influence editors and how editors react. In conclusion this work also deals with self-regulation aspects, if they are considered important by editors or not. This diploma thesis compares results among the above mentioned surveyed publishers as well as within the hierarchy of each publisher.
