Increasing incidence of these diseases can be associated with an increasing trend in the utilization of anticoagulants. So far, there have been published studies focused mainly on the situation in the Western world, however data on the utilization of anticoagulants in Central and Eastern Europe has been rather lacking. The aim of this study was to analyze the utilization of anticoagulants in the Czech Republic (CR), Croatia, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia during 2007−2019. Methods: A retrospective utilization analysis was performed using the ATC/DDD methodology according to the WHO Collaborating Center for Drug Statistics Methodology. The Drug Information Center (DIC) of the Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Charles University, and the University Hospital Hradec Králové (FaF UK and FN HK) was founded in 1994 and its main activity is the processing of drug enquiries from healthcare professionals. The aim of the thesis was to analyze the functioning of the Facebook website with a focus on drug-related queries and its comparison with DIC FaF UK and FN HK in 2021 and 2022. The thesis focuses on the area of diagnostics in preschool children in kindergarten in the Hradec Králové region. The main aim of this thesis is to set up a pedagogical support plan, the first level of support measures according to the WELCOME IDEA application for premature children. Another aim is a practical demonstration of how to work with the pedagogical support plan according to the WELCOME IDEA application, analysing its possibilities and limits. Last but not least, the aim is to underline the need of diagnostics in preschool children as a tool for an appropriate pedagogical support plan, which is not only a means for teachers to create optimal learning opportunities for children. The thesis has two parts. In the theoretical part we meet the concepts of family and parenting, psychological needs of parents of premature children, ontogeny of the premature child, psychomotor, communication and socialization in preschool children. The thesis also includes the methodology for the research investigation. Unless properly treated, it leads to higher mortality and morbidity rates. Early detection of such fibrillation, which is often asymptomatic, may prevent further associated complications, especially ischemic stroke, and a sudden cardiac death. Aim: The thesis focused on the feasibility of involving pharmacists in the screening of the patients with heart rhythm disorders. Further increase awareness of the possibilities and meaning of monitoring heart rhythm disorders in pharmacies and ensure that patients can verify their own heart rate at home. Incorrect diagnosis, poorly performed antibiotic prophylaxis (AP) or treatment can lead to life-threatening complications such as perforation, peritonitis, periappendiceal infiltrate or abscess. The aim of this study was to analyse the administration of antibiotics (ATB) as a part of prophylaxis before appendectomy and as part of the therapy of complicated appendicitis in the paediatric population and to compare the obtained results. It can be a cause of high morbidity and mortality if it is not detected and treated in time. Unfortunately, almost one third of patients have an asymptomatic AF. Screening activities in pharmacies are a possible tool for early detection of hidden arrhythmias. Aim: The aim of the study was to measure heart rate (HR), blood pressure (BP) and to monitor some of the symptoms of AF in patients involved in screening for heart rhythm disorders in a community pharmacy. Methods: HR measurements took place for eight weeks (08-09/2021 and 12/2021-01/2022) in two community pharmacies in Doksy and Cvikov.
