The Protection of the Republic Act - Abstract / Key Words This thesis deals with The Protection of the Republic Act No. 50/1923 Coll. of the Acts and Regulations (Act) accepted at the beginning of the twenties of last century in responds to the assassination of the former Minister of Finance JUDr. Alois Rasin. Its purpose was to incorporate into the legal system criminal measurements to protect the newly founded Czechoslovakia and its constitutional officials especially all democratic principles on which this state was based but at the cost of restriction of some constituonally guarentted civil rights and freedoms. The aim of this thesis is to offer a detailed picture of the purpose and importance of the Act in the time of its creation; explain the reasons that led Svehla's cabinet and the coalition parties of the National Assembly to accept it; outline the difficult process of its approval; describe its content; some forms of its application in practice and assess whether the Act fulfilled its purpose. The thesis is divided into seven parts. The first chapter analyzes the causes of Act creation in the light of internal and foreign historical-political events. The Theme of Projective Instruction with a view to Phenological Studies and their Use in Natural-Science Classes in Primary Schools

Diese Diplomarbeit heisst "Der Vorschlag der Projektunterricht mit Konzentration auf fenologische Beobachtungen im botanischen Teil des naturwissenschaftlichen Seminars auf der Grundschule". Der Autor schlägt nicht das ganze Projekt vor (der theoretische Teil), sondern er realisiert es auch in Praxis (der praktische Teil). Der detailierte theoretische Teil kennzeichnet die Methode des Projektunterricht als die spezifische moderne Bildungsstrategie im gegenwärtigen Schulwesen. Am Anfang des praktischen Teiles wird eine kleine Forschung angeführt, welche untersucht die Frekvention der fenologischen Beobachtungen im Seminarinhalt mit naturwissenschaftlichen Spezialisierung auf auserlesenen Pragischen und Mittelböhmischen Schulen. Das Projekt besteht aus einigen Teilen, welche füllen die Schüller aus während einem Kalenderjahr in dem naturwissenschaftlichen Seminar. Die Schüller stellen selbst ein Kvadratnetz her, mit dem sie ein Territorium 2 mal 2 Meter abgrenzen. Einmal in jeder Jahreszeit beobachten sie dann in diesem Gebiet die durch Klima und Wetter verursachte Naturänderungen. Ihre Arbeit wird nach den Arbeitsblättern geführt, die der Lehrer vorbereitet hat. Ausser Naturbeobachtung müssen die Schüller aber auch andere Fähigkeiten und Geschicklichkeiten beweisen (manuelle, organisatorische, soziale...)....

The tiny little town of Palermo is setting asleep. The specifics of a Sicilian detective story using the confrontation and comparison of criminal novels by Andrea Camilleri and Leonardo Sciascia

The detective genre originated in the first half of the 19th century and it does not seem to be loosing its pace. On the contrary, new authors have been occurring, bringing new rules and attitudes to the classical formo Detective novel is usually c10sely connected to the settings it describes. The aim ofthis thesis is to find out specific features ofthe Sicilian detective novel. We have chosen two authors and their works for a detailed analysis: Leonardo Sciascia and his novels II giorno della civefta and A ciascuno il suo and Andrea Cami11eri and his La forma dell' acqua and II cane di terracofta. The thesis has two parts. Part one has three chapters: in first chapter we deal with the history of detective novel, the European detective style and the Anglo - Saxon style, or the classical and American detective stories. ln chapter two, we focus on the isle of Sicily, its history and the unique character of its inhabitants and their culture. ln the final chapter, we pay attention to the works of the most famous Sicilian writer Luigi Pirandello e. g.Ilfu Maftia Pascal or Cosi e (se vi pare) , his search for reality, human identity and the relativity ofthe truth, all ofwhich occur in Sicilian detective stories.
