Goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the information system of MERIMAC s.r.o., truck transport company, and subsequently propose modifications that should remove found shortcomings in system currently used. In the first part this thesis deals with theoretical bases and defines concepts and information systems needed for understanding of this specific problematic. In the next part, the thesis follows up with analysis of current state of the company. At the end, the proposals for improvements and increase in effectivity of the company will be implemented.

Goal of this master‘s thesis is to analyse the necessities of the company that provides agricultural services as supply and delivery of biomass, and subsequently propose the most suitable system. The first part od thesis defines heoretical bases and concepts of information systms, that are needed for understanding of this specific promlematic. This master’s thesis follows up in the next part with analysis of current state of the company as well as analysis of needs. In the last part of thesis will be selected the best of proposals and will be introduces possibilities of implementation of selected solution.

Company Marketing Strategy

The bachelor’s thesis focuses on the marketing strategy for Confectionery, café U Anděla, which is situated in Strážnice. In the introductory chapter of the theoretical part, several terms related to marketing are defined. In the second part, I analysed the current situation in the confectionery and carried out research into the expectations of customers by using a questionnaire. From the results, I suggested improvements in the sectors that turned out to be insufficient.

Marketing communication of fashion brands and their influence on consumer´s body image

The Master's Thesis deals with the marketing communication of fashion industry with the focus on two particular global fast fashion brands. The main goal is to identify the specifics of marketing communication strategies of fashion industry, to analyze the approach difference of the two chosen fashion brands H&M and Zara and to define their influence on consumer's body image through qualitative and quantitative research. The thesis is divided into several parts. The first chapter follows up the peculiarities of fashion marketing communication including the use of particular communication instruments and new trends. The second part deals with the pivotal points of marketing communication of H&M and Zara and also analyzes the relations between the fashion industry and the currently much discussed issue of body image. The next section concentrates on the methodology of the research and describes the techniques of data collection and the surveyed group. The last practical part evaluates the results of the primary data obtained by the research with the purpose of defining the impact of fashion brands communication campaigns on the consumer.

Balanced Scorecard ve firmě Continental Automotive CR s. r. o.

Současné globalizované a vysoce konkurenční prostředí vyžaduje zvyšování angažovanosti podniku v oblasti strategického plánování a hodnocení výkonu. Řízení organizace na základě finančních ukazatelů již není dostatečným nástrojem pro dosažení stanovených strategických a výkonnostních cílů. Je třeba porozumět a využívat také ukazatele nefinančního charakteru, jež zásadním způsobem ovlivňují dosahování finančních cílů organizace. Metoda Balanced scorecard zdůrazňuje vzájemnou provázanost finančních i nefinančních ukazatelů a na základě sledování a řízení výkonnosti podniku v rámci čtyř perspektiv (finanční, zákaznické, procesní, učení se a růstu, resp. zaměstnanců) umožňuje průběžné řízení realizace celkové strategie a zajišťuje i nezbytnou zpětnou vazbu. Tato práce ve své teoretické části vymezuje podstatné prvky metody Balanced Scorecard. Praktická část obsahuje zhodnocení funkčnosti současně implementovaného systému BSC v závodě Adršpach společnosti Continental Automotive Czech Republic s.r.o., která byla podkladem pro stanovení návrhů na zlepšení.

The process of unification of Cyprus in the context of the european integration progress

The main goal of my bachelor thesis was to find out how the interest of Cyprus in entering the European Union has influenced the possibility of its unification. In the first chapter I am concerned with the history of this island and also its geographical location which has had a great effect on its affairs in the past. Especially important is the beginning of the Turkish reign on Cyprus because during this time the Cypriot conflict between Greeks and Turks has arisen. In the second chapter of my thesis I describe closely the state system of Cyprus, its economic situation and the difference between Greek and Turkish parts of the island. The third chapter deals with the relationship of Cyprus to the European Union and with the changes of the Cypriot conflict which were caused by the submission of Cyprus among the candidate countries. In the fourth chapter of my thesis I focus on the present development of negotiations between the two parties and I analyze the cause of the Cypriot dispute and possible problems that would have to be dealt with in the case of unification.
