The Position of the Police Authority in Pre-Trial Criminal Proceedings

Abstract, key words The Position of the Police Authority in Pre-Trial Criminal Proceedings One of the aims of the presented work was to find out what is the position of the police authority in the Czech criminal preparatory proceedings. I was also concerned with its relationship to other authorities and in particular to the public prosecutor's office. In the initial historical excursus I briefly dealt with the legal regulation in the field of criminal proceedings in the period from 1918 to the present. In the next chapter I described the types and legal regulation of the various police authorities, including the resolution of jurisdictional disputes between them. I then examined, by looking at the structure of the tasks performed by police authorities, the actual position of the police authority in contemporary criminal proceedings. I examined its procedure at the various stages of the pre-trial proceedings and what its relations are with other public prosecutor and the court. In the third part I described the position and organisation in the Federal Republic of Germany. I have described the tasks of the police in criminal proceedings. Methodology of murder investigation with the focus on the use of trace evidence

Methodology of murder investigation with the focus on the use of trace evidence Abstract The thesis deals with the investigation of murder as one of the most serious forms of crime. After a general definition of the investigative methodology, the text focuses on the issue of trace evidence and its use in criminal proceedings, including potential challenges associated with it. Firstly, the current legal regulation of homicides in the Czech Criminal Code is briefly discussed. This is followed by a section devoted to statistics on the number of registered murders and the clearance rate, which are compiled annually by the Police of the Czech Republic, with a brief commentary. The investigative methodology of murder is initially introduced in general terms, followed by a description of its selected components. Attention is focused on the crime scene examination process, the examination of the corpse and the forensic autopsy, as these are crucial initial tasks through which police authority obtains valuable information. The remaining parts of the thesis focus on the forensic specifics of trace evidence, its collection and examination, interpretation, and procedural value, with emphasis on some of its limits. Reservation System for a Café U bílé kočky a černého psa

This Bachelor’s thesis describes the design and the implementation of web reservation system, which will allow reservations of places and events organized in the café U bílé kočky a černého psa. This thesis starts with the basic theoretical background, in the second part it is focused on the analysis of the problems and the situation. The last chapter is about the own design solution and describes the process of the solution from design to evaluate of benefits of the reservation system.

Electronic stability systems

In this Bachelor’s thesis there are basic electronic stability systems described. These systems are mostly used as a precaution in safety of the traffic, but also to ensure comfort of the crew. The main part of the thesis is focused on systems ABS, ASR and ESP. The other parts aim to describe additional systems, which are still in development. In the end there is also view of various individual car companies and possible steps in the future.

Selection of suitable bioindicators for the determination of xenobiotics residuals

Bio-indicators are organisms, which we can use to evaluate contamination of terestrial and aquatic ecosystems by xenobiotics. This thesis deals above all with bio-indicators of vegetal and animal origin, which are capable to identify and quantify persistent organic pollutants and its residual contamination. This xenobiotics comes from human activities, most by consumer and automotive industry, inconsiderate agriculture. Thanks to its unpremeditated application and waste disposal, which are contaminated with them, ecosystems are infested and persistent organic pollutant‘s residuals are persisting for decades. By the help of bio-indicators we can find the source of contamination and size up its seriousness, we can observe its development and biological effect on organisms, which live in contaminated areas. In this thesis attention is given especially to polychlorinated bifenyls (PCB), polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), organochlorinated pesticides (OPC). polybrominated difenylethers (PBDE) and PCCDs/Fs, its influence on the health and its distribution in our surroundings, especially in waste dumps and forgotten pollutants sources.

A Plan of Measures in Case of Exceptional Incidents on Manufactury Premises

This Diploma thesis deals with creating the Plan of Measures in Case of Exceptional Incidents on manufacture Premises. The first part of thesis is dedicated to description of Exceptional Incidents, primarily accidents with leak of hazardous chemical substances, legislation background of Exceptional Incidents and Emergency planning, Civil Protection, as a complex within Czech Republic and then individual measures (the plan are assembled of) are descripted. The Plan of Measures, as such itself, is created on the basis of processed analysis of hazardous properties connected with chemical substances, used in McBride, a.s., mainly the Acids and mixtures of alcohol. The leak of this compounds was simulated in software ALOHA, which gives information about degree of threat to inhabitants of this area. Suggested Measures are created to be practicable in particular situation in surroundings of McBride, a.s. Aim of this Diploma thesis is not just to create a particular Plan, but integrally describe the issues of Emergency planning especially for smaller subjects within municipality, that do not come under the scope of law n. 59/2006 Sb., and to create a tool, that can help to other creators of similar Plans of Measures to understand to partial relations.

Cost Management System in the Company

The master´s thesis deals with the issue of cost management using the structure of budgets in a selected manufacturing company. The theoretical part contains and summarizes the views on corporate costs, then it discusses budgeting, and also illuminates the issue of in-house departments. The practical part focuses on the analysis of the current situation, where the current cost management system in the enterprise is summarized, the current approaches to budgeting and, in particular, the problematic areas of the current solution are revealed, which are then taken into account in the design part when creating a comprehensive enterprise budget structure.

Methodology of road traffic accident investigation Abstract This thesis, entitled "Methodology of Road Traffic Accident Investigation", responds to the long- term high number of road traffic accidents that result in many deaths and serious injuries. The purpose of this thesis is to provide readers with up-to-date and comprehensive information on the issues and specifics of road traffic accident investigation. The thesis also presents a number of planned innovations and proposals that could significantly reduce the occurrence of road traffic accidents and thus increase safety on Czech roads. The thesis is designed chronologically, with the introductory chapter outlining the theoretical basis and nature of road traffic accidents. In the subsequent chapters, attention is then given to typical clues, investigative situations, peculiarities of the subject matter and stimuli for investigation. The sixth chapter then deals with initial investigative tasks, in which special attention is given to the issue of detecting alcohol in road users. This chapter also outlines the institution of the alcohol lock, which could become part of the Czech legal system in the future. Chapter 7 then briefly develops the issue of investigative versions.
