The Hurdy Gurdy Lesson at Art School

The thesis focuses on playing the hurdy gurdy and materials dealing with this theme. The work first presents the historical background of this musical instrument, its development, mechanics and possibilities of the instrument. Furthermore, it processes and compares the literature available for players dealing with the topic of playing the hurdy gurdy. The main content of the work is the creation of methodical material for playing the hurdy gurdy suitable as an aid for teaching in the Art school environment, as well as study material for self-taught students. This material contains the necessary information that a player needs to know during the beginnings of the hurdy gurdy playing, i.e., information starting with the functions of the individual parts of the instrument, through the adjustment and maintenance of the instrument to the explanation of the playing the instrument itself separately for the right- and left-hand technique. It also includes sheet music with a repertoire of widely played pieces on the hurdy gurdy. The benefit of the methodology is also the Czech language in which it is written, which can supplement the necessary, but currently missing information about playing this instrument in the Czech environment. Germination requirements of rare and common plant species of Giant Mountains

For a long time studies were focused on searching optimal conditions of germination of individual species. During the last few years studies have started to search for a relationship between germination and various species characteristics. Most of them, however, use only one temperature during germination tests. Very few studies use more than one temperature during the germination tests. In the last years studies started also to compare germination between rare and common species, but these studies compare just a few species. There are no studies which would compare germination on broader range of species. Aim of this study was to indentify which factors are determing germination of species and to find relationships between germination and characteristics of rare species (n=62). Another aim was to find out differences in germination of pairs (n=24) of closely related rare and common species. To test the germination I have chosen a methodology with several consecutive temperatures. Throughout the time of testing , the seeds were placed either in light or in dark. The dataset was processed by linear regression. Change in prosaic processing of occupation during World War Two theme in Czech literature between 1945 and 1965

Author of this graduation thesis focused on the prose processing the theme of World War Two in Czech literature between years 1945 and 1965. The main point is to demonstrate basic schemes of portraying the World War Two theme in Czech literature and to analyze fundamental works of this period. In particular chapters, author especially engages in immediate reaction of the documentary and fable prose on the war, generation conflict, elaboration of Jewish matter together with holocaust and prose with existential motives. Analyzing books of Julius Fučík, Jan Drda, Josef Škvorecký, Arnošt Lustig and Ladislav Fuks, the author shows different forms of prose with war theme and presenting its main tendencies.

This diploma thesis starts with the definition of terms and formulations which are necessary for the understanding the discussed issues. The diploma thesis deals with real estate income method valuation, in particular the detected value and the market value according to the relevant public notice of valuation. In the practical part of the thesis my main aim has beeen to choose the real estate that can be valued by the real estate income method, to establish the detected value according to the public notice 445/2017 Sb. and to establish the market value, which will be set with several other real estate.
