The GPU Accelerated Optimisation of the Water Management Systems
Marek, Jan ; Petrlík, Jiří (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
Subject of this thesis is optimalization of storage function of water management system. The work is based on dissertation thesis of Ing. Pavel Menšík Ph.D. Automatization of   storage function of water management system. As optimalization method was chosen diferential evolution. Sequential version of the method will be implemented as a first step, followed by CPU accelerated and   GPU accelerated versions.
Reconstruction of Missing Parts of the Face Using Neural Network
Je představen model generativní kompetitivní sítě využívající kombinaci hrazených konvolučních vrstev a víceškálových bloků schopný realisticky doplnit oblasti obličeje zakryté maskou.
Design of application of radio-frequency control system Xcomfort in modern building
Marek, Jan ; Pěcha, Jiří (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on a reconstruction of an electro-installation used in a family house and an implementation of a radio frequency system xComfort for an intelligent electro-installation produced by Eaton company. This system was chosen due to customer´s request and also for its easy service. The first part of the thesis describes a history of an intelligent electro-installation with a description of a radio frequency system including its basic components. Next, there is an overview and basic characteristics of other producers´ systems and also their comparison. The thesis also provides main features of bus systems and a difference between the used radio-frequency system xComfort compared with a bus system. The advantages and disadvantages between the bus bar system and the radio frequency system are clearly described there. The major part of this work is focused on a practical design of the intelligent electro-installation in a specific object. In the appendix there is a technical documentation needed for the realisation of the building. This documentation includes a layout of used components controlling lights, Venetian blinds, heating and line schemes of switchboards. The design also includes a program that controls individual components formed by a software Eaton RF-System.
Exploitation of HDMI Interface on Minerva Educational Platform
Marek, Jan ; Čekan, Ondřej (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to explore the possibilities of video transfer via HDMI interface. Based on the results a circuit driver TFP410 will be designed, and both the circuit driver and generator of video data for this circuit will be implemented. The target platform in this thesis is school learning developing kit Minerva with MCU Freescale (NXP) Kinetis K60and FPGA Xilinx Spartan 6. The designed solution of the controller is a device controller which transfers communication from MCU to HDMI/DVI digital transmitter TI TFP410. MCU communicates with the device controller over FlexBus. All communication between the transmitter and the controller is realized over I2C bus. The device controller interface and MCU driver library must provide easy usage. The functionality of both the controller and MCU library is demonstrated on two demo applications (games Tetris and Sokoban).
Wave Diagram Editor
Marek, Jan ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
This document describes concept and implementation of an OpenSource wave diagram editor which supports data import from simulation tool ModelSim, saving and loading TDML files and parsing VCD files.   The paper contains descriptions of processed files, used tools and information about functionality and implementation of   individual aspects of the aplication.
Graphics Intro 64kB Using OpenGL
Marek, Jan ; Tóth, Michal (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the creation of a graphics intro with a limited size. It deals with methods used for its creation. The thesis describes methods used for reduction of size of executable files. Among them for example the use of prcedural generation and the use of exe packers. The created graphics intro has a size smaller than 64 kB.
Comparison of Various Virtualisation Tools for MS Windows
Marek, Jan ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with comparison of virtualisation tools for MS Windows. It describes techniques of virtualization, forms of mesauring computer performance and also benchmarks used to mesauring performance. At the end of this thesis are interpreted results of benchmarks and final comparation tested tools.
Antimicrobial efficacy of quaternary ammonium salts
Hympánová, Michaela ; Marek, Jan (advisor) ; Pejchalová, Marcela (referee) ; Čermák, Pavel (referee)
This dissertation thesis deals with the antimicrobial susceptibility testing of newly prepared compounds based on quaternary ammonium salts (KAS) and their reference standards commonly used in practice. The new compounds were prepared in cooperation with the Department of Toxicology and Military Pharmacy of the Faculty of Military Health Sciences of the University of Defence and the Biomedical Research Centre at the University Hospital Hradec Králové as a part of joint projects. The antimicrobial activity was established on gram-positive (G+) and gram-negative (G-) bacteria from type culture collections and clinical isolates, in planktonic and biofilm form. At first, the basic antimicrobial activity evaluation was performed by using the microdilution broth method. Additionally, the modified methodology was used to explore the influence of culture broth and initial bacterial density on evaluating the antimicrobial activity. Secondly, by using the quantitative suspension test, that better simulates normal practice conditions, has been successfully implemented at the department for the detailed antimicrobial activity evaluation. Thirdly, the biofilm model based on the Calgary Biofilm Device was successfully introduced and optimized for antibiofilm activity testing. Detailed antibiofilm activity was...
Implementation of Structural Funds in Region Frýdlant, Comparison with Finland
Marek, Jan ; Háva, Petr (advisor) ; Kotlas, Petr (referee)
In recent years, the Structural Funds have been a very common phrase, which for many means hope and expectation of EU assistance, others use this phrase as a political instrument or as a lure for voters, and only a handful of scholars who already have the experience of EU funds, is perceived by the Structural Funds As a complicated administrative procedure. Structural funds have become an important tool and aid for all levels of government and self-government, as well as for non-profit, non-profit organizations and last but not least for entrepreneurs. Self-assembling priority structural policy objectives lose to reality if the way to achieve them leads through unnecessary administrative obstacles. That is why I focused on the implementation of the Structural Funds as a key factor in the area's ability to receive EU aid. I decided to map the level of experience and the level of readiness of the territory to draw on EU funding and compare it with the information I collected during my yearly studies in Finland, where I conducted a number of identical structured interviews with representatives of the public and business sectors at a level similar to The Frýdlant peninsula. I deliberately wanted to link the issue of SF implementation with the region facing the above-average unemployment and population...
