Critical Points in Teaching German

This diploma thesis deals with critical points of German language teaching in primary and secondary schools. The first part of the thesis is focused on the researched issues from a theoretical point of view and presents the foreign languages didactics. It further describes the German language framework educational program and related concepts that can help to understand and facilitate the solution of critical points in German language teaching. The second part presents the evaluation and analysis of 25 questionnaires obtained from the IPUP KA7 project (Innovation of teacher training for practice, CZ.02.3.68 / 0.0 / 0.0 / 16_038 / 0006960). This survey was focused on the identification of critical points from the perspective of German language teachers at primary and secondary schools. Four of these critical points are analyzed in more detail and accompanied by motivational exercises that can simplify them for teachers and students as well.

Analysis of selected elementary school textbooks in the field of financial literacy

The diploma thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part deals with textbook analysis. Its structure, theory, content, text, function, also with analysis of information. Furthermore, it deals with approach and methods of textbook examination in general. The thesis also focuses on didactical quality of textbooks. The end of theoretical part presents us inclusion of financial literacy into educational framework. The practical part deals with analysis of three different financial literacy textbooks and two other textbooks containing chapters focused on financial literacy. Textbook analysis was carried out based on didactical quality and also on difficulty of the text. Selection of analysed textbooks was made according to results of questionnaire survey.

Water rescue sport and competitions in Czech Republic

This bacherol thesis deals with the history od water rescue service both in the world and in our country. It also describes the development of water rescue as a sport in the Czech Republic and it describes its competitions and disciplines as well. The work is divided into several parts the first of which is concerned with the history od developement of swimming and water rescue service worldwide and in the Czech Republic. The next part describes the developement of water rescue as a sport in our country until 1989 and the last one deals with the period after 1989 including the new ILS rules which are used in some competitions in our country. The History of Vimperk and its German Population in the 20th Century

This thesis deals with the life of the German population in the small town of Vimperk in the first half of the twentieth century. The first part describes the emergence of the town and then depicts the life of its population in the period since the Czechoslovak Republic, ie.from 1918, through World War II to the following expulsion of the German population until the end of the year 1946. The thesis tries to answer the question, why some Germans were allowed to stay in post-war Czechoslovakia and were not expelled. The second part is devoted to the German minority, which still lives in Vimperk and also to those who left it and now live on the other side of the border in the nearby town of Freyung. This part consists of a transcript of collected interviews with some of the contemporary witnesses that are being compared to each other and analyzed regarding the period of the expulsion.

Training and preparation of swimmers Water Rescue

This thesis looks into a preparation and training of lifeguards during one year training cycle. The objective of this thesis is monitoring (tracking) changes of functional indicators (heart rate) over the period of one year training for lifeguards. My thesis is divided into several parts. Theoretical part is mapping history of lifeguarding and origins of Lifesaving sport. It is focused on disciplines of this sport, specifics of the training and selected functional indicators. The practical part is divided on survey and reflexion (result) part. The survey is recording changes of heart rate in selected phases of a year training cycle. The reflection part is processing results. During a practical part have been used methods of observation, questioning, testing, statistics- collecting and analysing data.
