Matematické modelování na buněčné úrovni: enzymatická kinetika, dynamika infekce a farmakologie
MALÍKOVÁ, Michaela
This thesis concerns mathematical modelling of selected biochemical and biological processes at the cellular level. It deals with modelling of kinetics of enzymatic reactions, dynamics virus infections and mathematical models in pharmacology. One of its aims is to review the basic models in the given areas and to introduce the reader to the specific fields. The other aim is then to develop and study an original model that links the considered areas of mathematical modelling.
The effect of dimension and initial deployment of individuals for growth of a sex-structured population - a spatially explicit individual-based model
MALÍKOVÁ, Michaela
This thesis examines the influence of some of the conditions that affect the survival and growth of sex structured population. Its main purpose of this work is to build a spatially explicit individual-based model of the population, which has male and female reproductive success to find each other, and this model to simulate different dimensions of space and the initial deployment of individuals. The model considers discrete space and continuous time. Work also summarizes the necessary theory of individually oriented models Poisson processes. The results show that in terms of survival populations is good that individuals move slowly, and only a short distance. Easily clump together and the population survives on less initial numbers of males and females. It is best for the survival space of dimension 1 and aggregated initial deployment individuals.
