The Thesis deals with the impact of natural effects on electrical equipment. It describes the various natural effects and shows how it impacts, what it impacts on and what the source of its impact is. The main point of this Thesis is the issue of atmospheric charge (storm and lightning) and the issue of coronal mass ejection (CME). The Thesis shows causally consequences string of geomagnetical field disturbances and resultant power system impacts. There are mentioned historic storm events and power system impacts and description of events in Hydro-Quebec – the most important event. Of this species. At the end there are shows possible way of mitigation power system impacts.

Simulation of electric field in the area of switchgear busbars

The aim of this work is to simulate the electric field in the space of busbar HV switchgear. More precisely, the aim is to find a place with the most critical value of the electric field, the design of measures to reduce the size of the field at this point. The simulation was performed using the finite element method program. The simulation found the most critical area. Using the basic physical principles it has been proposed solution. This solution reduced twice the magnitude the electric field in this area.

Zionism - Abstract Zionism was founded by Theodor Herzl. In his treatise The Jewish State published in 1896, Herzl attempted to find a clear answer to the Jewish question, which was one of the many burning "questions" of the late 19th century. The Dreyfus affair as well as the unbearable situation of the Jews at the time, particularly in Russia, were the direct impetus for looking for a "modern solution". He treats the Jews in the diaspora as one nation and sees the only solution in the establishment of a national, modern state of the future, whether in Palestine or in another state. His thoughts are imbued with an unshakeable belief in progress, as well as in man's rationality, which in his words shall prevail over "all and outdated ideas" of the past. In the name of rationality he presents his austere vision of the establishment of the state along with the plan how to achieve this goal. His book The Jewish State is a fundamental document of the Zionist movement and Zionism as a whole and is applicable not only in the context of "national issues" prior to last century, but it has not lost its plasticity so far. Alternative way of financial risk transfer

This diploma thesis deals with a considerable innovation of modern finance, insurance securitization. For better understanding of this concept it is important to consider insurance securitization in a broader context of financial securitization, which is presented in the first chapter. In the second part of this work the factors which have led to the development of insurance securitization are mentioned. Then there is a short comparison of insurance securitization with financial securitization and description of various secured products with discussing their positive and negative aspects. Finally, the thesis is concluded with some thoughts regarding the near future of insurance securitization. The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate using of insurance securitization as an alternative way of transfer risk, analyze its weaknesses and propose possible solutions.

Strategický marketing světových telekomunikačních lídrů

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of the strategic marketing which is applied on the telecommunication market. A special focus is devoted to the new marketing environment (specifically to the new and modern marketing concepts, tools and channels). The reader can learn about world telecommunication leaders and their usage of the strategic marketing. A very interesting comparative analysis of those leaders is presented. All the results and assumptions are verified by own market research which studied the telecommunication value for the customer and the attitude of customers to the strategic marketing. A visionary future development of the strategic marketing is forecasted at the end.

Analysis of czech insurance market and prognosis of its future development

This bachalor thesis is concerned with the insurance market in the Czech Republic since the very beginning of "insuring" until the modern days, when the domestic insurance market is integrated into the European Union. The thesis comprises four individual parts. The first unit deals with the development of insurance system. The following chapter relates the contemporary situation of the Czech insurance market. In the third part, the Czech insurance market is compared to the markets of other countries which joined the EU in 2004. Besides that, an analysis of present period of stagnation of the insurance market is introduced. The last chapter contains the principles the European insurance market is based on. It also embodies the gradual process of integration of the Czech insurance market into the EU.
