This bachelor thesis describes the history of the Czech elementary school in Kájov from its founding till 1950. I have worked with on-line accessible school chronicle from The State Regional Archives in Třeboň, but also with non-published memories from family members of Růženka Hotová, the contemporary witness of Kájov. The thesis is focused on Kájov, from its history until the present day, establishment of the education system, Nazi influence, wartime, removals of German inhabitants after the World War II and arrival of communism until 1950. One of the reasons is that lots of materials from that times are accessible and also the importance of mentioned occurrences for Czech people.
