Node localization on the Internet using domain name system
Dvořák, Petr ; Müller, Jakub (referee) ; Komosný, Dan (advisor)
This paper describes various systems that are used to predict delay among nodes . It focuses on systems using for prediction delay artificial coordinate systems, and on the systems, which use physical measurements of delay. Primarily, however, it deals with the King method, which uses the system for translation of domain names - DNS (Domain Name System) to predict the delay. Next, the principle of the King method is outlined in detail. Practical part includes a description of the two created simulations in program Matlab. The first application described simulates the King method principle. The second simulation is then tasked with creating 2D geometric space in which nodes and DNS servers are randomly generated. The result is dependence of RTT prediction accuracy on the number of randomly generated DNS servers. Based on this dependency the method King is compared with other methods in the end.

Next chapters of the thesis deal with my own design of multimedia application, especially from the point of view of classes. For better orientation and understanding UML diagram is used. UML (Unified Modeling Language) is a graphic language intended for visualization and documentation of programming systems. Except of general description of the classes there is also a detailed explanation of individual attributes and application methods. Their function and purpose are explained here as well. In the next part of the thesis attention is paid to the network communication of the application, both in terms of individual multimedia files transmission and stream transmission. Principles of connection and disconnection between client and server are analyzed in this part. Client’ s part of the application is designed for the mobile equipment with Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 operation system and server’s part of application is designed for computers, where Microsoft Windows XP operation system is installed. A concise manual for operating both the applications is included. This part also describes some exceptions which may occur in case of problems with connection. Last chapters describe synchronization of mobile equipment or emulator with a desktop computer and provide the reader with the summary of supported audio formats in multimedia application. All achieved results are summarized in the concluding part of the thesis.

This diploma thesis deals with the study of 3D printing based on the FDM method. This method focuses on the possibility of using two extruders it means that the composite parts can be printed. This diploma thesis describes the available variants of composite printing currently on the market. Based on the gained knowledge and the availability of 3D printers and software, individual variants of composite parts were printed. A tensile test was performed on these samples to determine the strength characteristics. Additionally, compatibility and adhesion of two selected materials were tested. Based on the testing is made an evaluation of the achieved results, effectiveness and feasibility.
GPS Location based Information Provision in IMS subsystem
Šišák, Vladimír ; Müller, Jakub (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with an introduction of new functionalities in communication via IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) at the beginning. There are described functions of each part and introduced protocols which are used by this system. Thesis presents the method of positioning with Global Positioning System (GPS) together with methods for the distance measuring of two points on the Earth. Services provided by IMS are developed in Service Development Studio which is shortly mentioned too. The developed service is divided into two parts: a client side part and a server side part, which is formed like a servlet. This program component, which is running on server is mentioned at the end of teoretical part. The procedure of service creating, setup and functions are in description of the created service, which provides informations based on geographical coordinates to user, is described after the teoretical part.
Testing parameters of stepper motors at different microstepping mode

This thesis deals with design and construction of test equipment that allows measurements of basic parameters of stepper motors. The first part is devoted to the search about the principle of operation of the hybrid stepper motor. For the analysis engine has been used a mathematical simulation model with real parameters in Matlab/Simulink. The next section is the design of mechanical and electronic form of the test facility with a description of the components used. The last part of this work is focused on measuring the excitation currents and measuring loss of steps at various control modes and microstepping.
Implementation of an evolutionary expert system
Bukáček, Jan ; Müller, Jakub (referee) ; Karásek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis is focused on working up evolutionals and genetics algorithms issues Especially for multiobjective algorithms VEGA, SPEA and NSGA – II. Thereinafter one of FrameWork working with genetics algorithms namely WWW NIMBUS. From this mentioned algorithms was selected VEGA algorithm for implementation in JAVA to preselected problem. Thereby problem is choice thick columns of profile according to predetermined criteria. Selected algorithm works on division of population into several groups and each group evaluates the resulting fitness function. Here is a sample implementation of this algorithm. Furthermore there is a example of working with FrameWork. In the next section are compared the results of generated progam with results that were obtained by FrameWork WWW NIMBUS. As for VEGA, and the Nimbus there are shown different results. The VEGA is presented also the development of individual fitness functions. Also, there are shown graphs, that can be obtained from NIMBUS. At the end of work is introduced the comparation of the results ane propose possible improvements.
Streaming of compressed multimedia content
Tesař, Pavel ; Číka, Petr (referee) ; Müller, Jakub (advisor)
The topic of the master's thesis is about transmission of multimedia via network with help of compression’s algorithm used in codec MPEG-4 part 10 and Real Time Protocol (RTP). First part of this master thesis will be familiarization with basic terms about multimedia. It will be queried about techniques of compression axioms for audio and video, justification for necessary use of compression in transmitting multimedia via network. Also, here will be subscribed principles and properties of Real Time Protocol, which was designed for multimedia stream. From the start, competent codec for implementation of two applications (client, server) with read raw video and audio data, will choose the following : compression with help of codec Theora (Vorbis), transfer via network in RTP packets, decode and play at visual form for end user. Complete subscription of implementation for both applications written in programming languages C/C++ and Java, will be certain. The basic overview about this problematic experience with implementation, which were here concluded, are the reasons for reading this master thesis.

Current methods for geolocation of Internet hosts
Doležel, Pavel ; Müller, Jakub (referee) ; Balej, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor work deals with IP geolocation, which means the estimation of geographical location of unknown host in the Internet. The aim of my thesis was to make a delay measurement in PlanetLab Network and then with the use of GeoPing technique estimate the real location of the target. The main part of this work is focused on several different delay-based methods, especially GeoPing which employs „Nearest Neighbor in Delay Space“ algorithm in order to exploit the relationship between network delay and geographic location. Base ground for GeoPing is a database of the machines at known location. This database is composed of 9 probe machines, 260 hosts is used like a landmarks and targets. Estimation of unknown geographical location was done on 60 hosts.
