Experiments in chemistry education at secondary schools - motivation and curriculum acquisition
Maca, Ondřej ; Čtrnáctová, Hana (advisor) ; Feltl, Tomáš (referee)
Title: Chemical experiments in chemistry teaching and learning at secondary schools - motivation and curriculum acquisition Summary: This diploma thesis focuses on chemical experiments and their usage in learning phases - namely in motivation phase, acquisition phase, retention phase and control phase. On the set of tried experiments, their possible usage in chemistry teaching and learning in motivation and acquisition phases is demonstrated. Instructions, explanation, comments and photographies are attached to each experiment. For usage in acquisition phase worsheets have been made for each experiment to improve curriculum acquisition.
Possibilities of physiotherapy interventions in patients with temporomandibular disorders
Máca, Ondřej ; Pánek, David (advisor) ; Malá, Jitka (referee)
Title: Possibilities of physiotherapy interventions in patients with temporomandibular disorders - a systematic review. Objective: The aim of the diploma thesis is based on the analysis of available literature fulfilling the selection criteria to evaluate the most effective therapeutic intervention within the competence of a physiotherapist for the predetermined evaluation parameter in patients with myogenic temporomandibular disorder. Methods: This diploma thesis is processed in the form of a systematic review. Auitable literature was searched in the various a database including Scopus, PubMed, Web of Science a PEDro. Based on the criteria, a total of 390 articles were found, including 271 randomized clinical trials obtained after removal of duplicates. An abstract was screened on these selected studies to identify suitable ones. Subsequently, 97 studies remained for further investigation, of which a total of 18 studies were suitable for inclusion in this work. The first part of the thesis contains theoretical information related to this topic. In the second part of the thesis, an analysis of suitable studies is performed, followed by the results of this analysis and then a discussion, which is focused on each of the research questions. Results: A total of 18 randomized controlled clinical trials...
Case study of the physiotherapy treatment of a patient with reverse total shoulder arthroplasty
Máca, Ondřej ; Polák, Alois (advisor) ; Čajka, Vladimír (referee)
Title: Case study of the physiotherapy treatment of a patient with reverse total shoulder arthroplasty. Objectives: The main thing of these study is to get to know about the reverse total shoulder arthroplasty and then detail analysis of whole shoulder knot including patient case study with that kind of diagnosis. Summary: This bachelor thesis has been divided into two main parts. First part is theoretical and contains information regarding implant joined with analysis upper limb and shoulder joint searched by anatomy, kineziology and biomechanic vision where proffesionaly literature has been used. The second part of mine bachelor thesis contains patient case study with litteral diagnosis what I have searched during mine proffesional practice. Mine proffesional practice was located at Medicentrum Praha and I have worked there from 15.1. 2018 till 9.2. 2018. Results: During the terapy patient got better especially in the active mobility in shoulder joint of the operated limbin all movement planes. Later on we had increased the mussel strenght and the shoulder stability in the joint as well. Keywords: reverse endoprosthesis, shoulder joint, rotator cuff, rehabilitatio

Endoparasitic infections in farmed ring-necked pheasant (Phasianus colchicus) and red-legged partridge (Alectoris rufa) (Galliformes: Phasianidae)
Máca, Ondřej ; Hejcmanová, Pavla (advisor)
The entire infection process was monitored over four seasons (2012-2015) by a targeted and systematic study of ring-necked pheasants and red-legged partridges from an intensive artificial breeding programme in the Czech Republic, with focus on studying the transmission dynamics throughout the breeding process, from hatching up to release of birds to open area, in connection with timing of appropriate and effective application of drugs. 1752 pooled excrement samples were examined (745 from pheasants and 1007 from partridges). Post-mortem examinations were performed on 625 dead birds (514 pheasants and 111 partridges). Main infections of A. rufa and P. colchicus comprised representatives of the protozoa genera Eimeria and Cryptosporidium; as well as nematodes Capillaria s.l., Heterakis gallinarum and Syngamus trachea. Identification of oocyst isolates of Cryptosporidium baileyi, C. meleagridis anf C. galli were supported and characterized by nested PCR of heat shock protein 70 (HSP70), actin and 60 kDa glycoprotein (GP60) genes.
