Intervention of Integrated Emergency System in Traffic Accidents with SR
Lukeš, Jan ; Krejčí, Libor (referee) ; Žilka, Pavel (advisor)
The topic of my bachelor thesis is Intervention of Integrated Emergency System in Traffic Accidents with SR. Current valid legislature relating to this topic is mentioned in the thesis. Basis of this bachelor thesis is gathered from national and foreign sources. In the first part of the bachelor thesis I deal with basic terminology related to the topic. Then I deal with current status and radiation protection equipment of individual units of Integrated Emergency System and I describe procedure of particular units during the intervention. Within a practical training I proved given procedures of this issue and set possible ways how to improve that in the last part of my work.
Norwegian state as an important owner
Lukeš, Jan ; Brunclík, Miloš (advisor) ; Salamon, Janusz (referee)
The topic of my final thesis is the development of the political debate about state ownership in Norway associated with extraction and export of oil and natural gas. Norway is the only fully democratic state with such an extensive state ownership of mineral wealth. My thesis is conceived descriptively and I gradually write about the historical political events in Norway before the extraction of oil and natural gas, then I focus on the beginnings of extraction and the important political steps associated with it and I describe the subsequent development. I narrate where there is created a consensus in the public and political debate and where there is not. I compare different opinions on state property policy, the motives that led to such a policy, and the advantages and disadvantages for citizens and the market. Norway is completely unique in the world with such a model.
Utilization and comparing the new filter materials for removing iron and manganese
Lukeš, Jan ; Benešová, Libuše (advisor) ; Pivokonský, Martin (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the removal of iron and manganese in water treatment. The main goal is to determine applicability and suitability of commercially available filter materials for the process for removing iron and manganese from water. The issue of iron and manganese removal water treatment was investigated on the basis of a literature review that summarizes the possible methods of removing iron and manganese from water. Subsequently, four industrially produced filter materials were selected and tested in laboratory. Condition for selection was that the materials did not require regeneration. This work has shown that the use of industrially produced filter materials is advantageous in appropriately defined operating conditions. Removing iron and manganese with these materials may be a suitable alternative to the methods used today. Their advantage lies in the long life cycle without requiring dosage of oxidizing agent. The other advantage is the possibility to remove the seasonally occurring increased concentration of iron and manganese. Their use is likely to be suitable for automatic operation of the drinking water treatment plant.
The use of food supplements by amateur athletes in the fitness
Lukeš, Jan ; Coufalová, Klára (advisor) ; Jandová, Tereza (referee)
Title: The use of food supplements by amateur athletes in the fitness Objectives: The objective of this work is to find out the use of specific food supplements by amateur athletes in the fitness. Methods: Data were obtained through quantitative research, which was conducted through electronic questioning on the platform Survio.com. Subsequently, a statistical evaluation of collected information was performed. Results: The evaluation of the data obtained from the questionnaire survey showed, that 86 % (111) of respondents use food supplements, for up to 4 of them without any side effects. The use of food supplements is bigger by men than by women. Regeneration support, improving sports performance and building muscle mass are the most common motives for using food supplements. On the other hand, respondents who do not use food supplemets claim, that they do not need them. For respondents, the best sources for obtaining information are the professional literature and the internet. The internet is also the best source for acquisition of food supplements. The most commonly used food supplements are protein products, vitamins and minerals, primarily from the Extrifit brand. Key words: Nutritional supplementation, sport, fitness
Coagulation of non-protein algal organic matter
Lukeš, Jan ; Pivokonský, Martin (advisor) ; Novotná, Kateřina (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with characterizing properties of non-proteinaceous cellular organic matter (COM) of green alga Chlorella vulgaris in connection with its coagulation using aluminium sulphate and polyaluminiumchloride. As a part of this work, interaction mechanisms were also studied. It has been found out that non-proteinaceous COM of Chlorella vulgaris is made up by saccharides (25 % DOCNP, 21 % of dry biomass of non- protein matter) and other unspecified non-protein substances. It has been found out by fractionation of molecular weights that non-protein COM is formed primarily by substances with MW < 3 kDa and substances with MW > 100 kDa. Coagulation by aluminium sulphate taken place in interval pH 5 - 8,5 and coagulation by polyaluminiumchlorid taken place in interval pH 7 - 10 depending on coagulation agent dose. The maximum DOC removals were 17 - 22 % depending on selected coagulation agent, on its dose and pH. Polyaluminiumchloride showed higher DOC removal rates than aluminium sulphate. The highest effectiveness of coagulation was in the area of neutral pH for both agents. In all the coagulation tests the values of residual concentrations of aluminium were higher than the hygienic limit for drinking water (0.2 mg.L-1 ). Primarily high-molecular matter was removed by coagulation and...
Journals Tarsicius and MINIPOST - content analysis and evaluation of the contribution to the formation of servant at the altar
Lukeš, Jan ; Dřímal, Ludvík (advisor) ; Opatrný, Aleš (referee)
The diploma thesis presents Tarsicius, a Czech magazine for altar servers, in comparison with its German counterpart MINIPOST. It comes with an analysis of the content of both periodicals - with a focus on individual sections and on the graphic aspect. On the basis of partial analyses and comparations it describes and evaluates the pastoral significance of both magazines for the formation of altar servers.
