Effectivity assessment of the implementation of the reporting system
Řežábek, Martin ; Lorenc, Miroslav (advisor) ; Vladyka, Štěpán (referee)
Thesis is focused on effectivity assessment of the reporting system of the selected company and the comparison of the former and current reporting solution. This is achieved by the appropriate literature research, creation of the individual assessment model based on the methodology of the analogy from the information systems assessment and based on the experience of the selected company's employees and the experience of the experts in the field of corporate financial management with the focus on the reporting systems. Model is defined by the set of criteria structured into the groups and by the weights assigned to criteria along with the value for each of them. The last phase consists of stepping out of the individual assessment and defines the generally applicable model, usable on the wide range of different reporting systems.
Business Performance Tracking
Žambor, Viktor ; Lorenc, Miroslav (advisor) ; Mucinová, Iva (referee)
This bachelor thesis assesses the benefits of a new type of report that shall be used by financial analysts from international company. Thesis characterizes the different types of reports and compares the Pros and Cons that are related with them. Furthermore, it demonstrates the efficient use of automation that significantly simplifies the creation and control of the report. Outcome is a dynamic report with a wide range of features that allows to take a look at the data from various perspectives.
Digitization of Business Process Management
Valentová, Tereza ; Martínez, Felipe (advisor) ; Lorenc, Miroslav (referee)
The aim of the present masters thesis is to create a guide, which leads small and medium enterprises to business process digitization. It is presumed that the enterprise has already implemented business process management on a certain level. The theoretical part of the thesis defines important terms and describes benefits and possible problems that are connected with the implementation of business process automation. The most important tools, methods and principles which help with the transformation of a business process to an automated process by ICT are described in the thesis.  Possible steps that can be made by a medium insurance company during the implementation of business process digitization are described in the practical part. Every step is demonstrated on a concrete example.  The thesis brings the reader a specific summary of knowledge of business process management and digitization. It creates a baseline for a guide of implementation of intern processes of the company.
Assessing process excellence with digitalization
Bódiová, Zuzana ; Martínez, Felipe (advisor) ; Lorenc, Miroslav (referee)
The aim of the master thesis is to emphasize the importance of process alignment in The Fourth Industrial Revolution. By mapping of current descriptive maturity models and their application within digitalization, the thesis offers a new process maturity model for the phenomenon referred to as Industry 4.0 (i4.0). The model is based on the theoretical form of previous models, as well as on implementation of newly introduced trends. The contribution of the thesis rests upon the specific solution. The suggested Process Improvement Scheme presents applicable way for improvement of digital process preparedness in project-oriented service organizations and determines main value factors which lead to higher quality of employee processes. In the same time, the master thesis suggest a new utilization of i4.0 principles focused predominantly on manufacturing processes, and therefore includes areas which will need to be addressed in the near future for smooth process transition into i4.0 era.
Industry 4.0 - Readiness of engineering companies
Badidová, Eva ; Lorenc, Miroslav (advisor) ; Martínez, Felipe (referee)
The thesis determines development and current interpretation of term Industry 4.0. Which components of the concept Industry 4.0 consists of. Such as cyber-physical system, the internet of Things and services and Smart factory. It describes the state concept of Slovak Republic - Priemysel 4.0 as well as the current situation of the country. It defines the summary of the changes that are not just industry wise but also the society is heading to. Subsequently is elaborated SWOT analysis, which includes the strengths and weaknesses of the fourth industrial revolution as well as its main challenges and threats, which comes from the opportunities. The practical part focuses on the field of engineering industry. The finding of the thesis is, how selected engineering companies in Slovak Republic are prepared for transition to digitization and automation of production processes. And if they are heading in this direction in the future.
Industry 4.0 - readiness of industries
Papcunová, Zuzana ; Lorenc, Miroslav (advisor) ; Martínez, Felipe (referee)
The bachelor thesis describes the highly discussed topic - Industry 4.0 and its current and future intervention in the metallurgical enterprises. In the theoretical part of the thesis is a presentation of the concept of Industry 4.0, state concepts, economic situation in industry and the position of Slovak and Czech Republic in the world of industry. A goal is to find out how metallurgical enterprises are ready for this new industrial revolution. A questionnaire survey among practitioners in specific metallurgical firms in Slovakia and Czech Republic will show new challenges are perceived with the advent of new technologies and when they could become a standard.
Aminocarbonydrates as part of cyclic polyamines
Vacková, Zuzana ; Lorenc, Miroslav (advisor) ; Veselý, Jan (referee)
Magnetic resonance imaging is one of the imaging methods that are needed in medicine for diagnostic purposes. This method neither exposes the patient to X-rays, nor any other negative effects on the human organism are known by then. Another significant advantage of MRI is its ability to achieve high contrast even between structurally very similar tissues. The contrast agents commonly used with the magnetic resonance imaging help heighten this ability. Part of these contrast agents is a metal ion, the ion gadolinium (GdIII) is the most commonly used nowadays. But it must be complexed by a suitable ligand. This work deals with the synthesis of a number of potentially suitable model ligands. The saccharide component is even a part of these ligands. This component should enable to achieve a greater solubility of the complex or the possibility of linking other additional saccharide units, another ligand or a detecting group. Several theoretical paths leading to the final fabric were created. Not all of them led to the target, only one was successful. The produced macrocycle is the potentially applicable ligand for complexation with GdIII or other metal ion, it means a good part of the new potential contrast agent.
Symmetrically substituted polyazamacrocycles
Pošívalová, Kateřina ; Lorenc, Miroslav (advisor) ; Drahoňovský, Dušan (referee)
This thesis deals with the synthesis of model compounds and cyclam cyclen macro compounds for the preparation contrast agents of synthetically readily available starting materials. Result, a new macrocycle was prepared which could be used for complexation with GdIII and other measurements. Macrocycle was prepared in low yields (3.2% and 3%) Synthesis was performed 2,5,9,12-tetraazabicyclo [11.3.1] heptadecane-4,10-dione and N2 ,N5 - dibenzyl 2,5,9,12-tetraazabicyclo[11.3.1]heptadecane-4,10-dione for further processing and subsequent measurement of required quantities, which have been formally completed synthesis.
Bifunctional ligands for copper(II) complexation
Benešová, Martina ; Kotek, Jan (advisor) ; Lorenc, Miroslav (referee)
The main aim of this thesis was preparation of makrocyclic ligand based on 1,4,8,11- tetraazacyklotetradecane skeleton, which is suitable for selective complexation of divalent copper. Cyclam macrocycle bears one weakly coordinating aminobenzylphospinate pendant arm (compound L). During the synthesis was the skeleton asymmetrically protected in positions 1,4 and 8. Attachment of phospinate pendant arm was tried with the corresponding Mannich reaction of ethyl or bis(trimethylsilyl) esters 4-nitrobenzylphosphinic acid and alkylation using mesyl ester derived from hydroxomethyl(4-nitrobenzyl)phosphinic acid (benzyl O- methylsulfonylhydroxymethyl(4-nitrobenzyl)phosphinate). In the frame of this work the synthesis of the targeted product was developed. Reproducibility was also verified for synthesis of cyclam and its asymmetrical protection in three positions. Furthermore, a study of the kinetics of de-protection of cyclam skeleton and pendant arm using basic and acid hydrolysis was done.
