Marie Boccou Kestřánková Ph.D. Abstract: The thesis introduces integrated follow-up activities designed for a comprehensive training in the language skills in textbooks of Czech as a foreign language at the B1 level of the CEF. The second part elaborates on the purpose CEF and further specifies the requirements of the B1 target level for Czech language. The third part deals with the language skills and brings current views in the scientific discussion accentuating the need for integration activities for a comprehensive training of the language skills. It also presents suitable activities for such comprehensive training (e.g. interactive scenarios, content based activities, project based and experiential activities etc.), which consist of a mix of the abovementioned activities constituting three final follow-up activities.
