The thesis deals with work of manager and the application of equal opportunities in the construction company. The aim of the thesis is to explore the situation in construction companies and comparison of theory with practise. The theoretical part introduces the basic terms and theories related to the topic. Based on a questionnaire survey, the practical part assesses the current situation in construction companies. In the end of the thesis is an evaluation theoretical and practical part, in order recommend prospective changes and conclusion of the thesis.
Some specifics of communication in public administration

This bachelor thesis is focused on the subject of specifics in communication in public administration. Due to the broad kontent of public administration, the theoretical part of this thesis is addressing determination of basic used terms which will be further operated with in the text, thus the public administration itself, management and communication in the public administration. The empirical part is then looking into the establishment of working hypothesis, which will be either confirmed or disproved in a questionnaire research, concentrated on the staff in public organization, building offices, special building offices and the public.
Forms and methods of motivation in construction company

My work deals with the exploration in the field of the motivation of workers to their jobs in firms with building focus. They focus mainly on the valuation of the objectives, motivational tools and rewards. In the practical part are specified hypotheses, which I want on the basis of a questionnaire survey to verify and evaluate. In conclusion, arising from the survey are recommended practices that will lead to more effective motivation of employees in the construction industry.
Marketing management of cement filtration technology for construction industry in Czech and Slovak republic

Globally, cement industry is one of the most energy consuming industries. Moreover, production of emissions as dust, CO2, NOX, SO2 and heavy metals from manufacturing process is considered as environmentally harmful. However according to predictions of World Wildlife Found (WWF) and International Energy Agency (IEA) global cement demand is going to increase in next decades. For appropriate cement industry understanding data about production of harmful emissions were collected and cement production process was described in the thesis. The thesis mainly analyzed potential for Upper Austrian Company Kappa GmbH to install dedusting system on Czech or Slovak cement plants in next 2-3 years. Kappa´s dedusting systems are able to significantly reduced dust emissions exhaust from cement plants. However as for Company Kappa GmbH cement industry is a new industry branch in which company would like to operate in future, therefore certain objectives have be to overcome. The thesis found those objectives and gives recommendations for their solutions.
Company culture and communication in construction engineering

The aim of this thesis is to define the corporate culture and communication in construction companies. The thesis contains definition of both terms. Evaluation of corporate cultures and communication in individual companies will be based on a quantitative questionnaire survey. Individual questions will have their own comments and at the end I will evaluate which of the cooperating companies has the best corporate culture and communication. I will also provide recommendations for possible changes. The cooperating companies are: DELTA Projektconsult, s.r.o .; KOMFORT, a.s .; OHL ŽS, a.s. The aim of the thesis is to theoretically define the topic of the importance of corporate culture and communication in the construction industry. In the practical part, then carry out a research investigation, analyze its results and assess their practical application in the construction area.
Leadership and management of employees in the construction company

Abstract The subject of this Bachelor Thesis is "Leadership and staff management in the construction business." In the theoretical part there is briefly described the concept of management, construction management, as well as employee management and leadership, particularly in terms of communication, listening and teamwork synergies associated with that. I was looking into a personal nature of a manager, which is an important aspect influencing the management work, reflected in all managers’ activities. In the empirical part, besides working hypotheses, there is a questionnaire utilized to form the whole issue of the empirical investigation and its evaluation. In the conclusion and in the recommendations we can find trends and experience that result from the research, as an inspiration for the practice of a construction enterprise.

This bachelor thesis is focused to specific questions of communication in the work of design office. There is briefly described the characteristics of a design offices and their surroundings in the theoretical parts. Then the work deals with communication itself, communication types, listening, communication barriers and ways how to communicate effectively. The empirical part is looking into the establishment of working hypothesis, which were either confirmed or disproved in a questionnaire research, concentrated on a specific design office and then on the general public. This research is enriched by guided interview with executive head of the design office. In connection are the conclusions and recomendations for improvement of current communication in the work of design office.

There is the research survey by understanding interview in the empirical part supplemented by current research on this topic. The aim is to theoretically define the topic, perform empirical research, analyze and propose solutions.

This work "Requirements for construction company executive in the knowledge economy" in the theoretical part focused on who is the manager, what should have manager attributes, knowledge, skills and competence. It also features what the manager to perform and what role must hold. In the practical part of the bachelor hypotheses have been set, which I verified the survey in construction companies, design offices, studios, as well as managers themselves. The survey found out requirements that are now placed on managers in construction.
Time management in managerial work in the construction company

The bachelor thesis examines the awareness and application of Time Management for managers working in construction companies in the Czech Republic. The first part focuses on theoretical explanations of concepts and approaches the issue of planning, the subsequent time management, setting goals and priorities that are necessary to achieve them. In the second part the author examines and analyzes the current status of the use methodology of Time management for managers working in practice. The survey questionnaire is based on research and controlled CAWI interview with the manager working in the construction business. Outcome of this work is to evaluate the current situation using Time management at work managers working in construction. The author offers a solution to work more efficiently with time.
