Thermodynamics of spacetime: A new perspective from the quantum realm
Liška, Marek ; Alonso Serrano, Ana (advisor) ; Oriti, Daniele (referee)
The main result of the thesis is the derivation of quantum phenomenological gravi- tational dynamics from the thermodynamics of local causal diamonds. By taking into account logarithmic corrections to entropy implied by quantum gravity effects, we derive new gravitational equations of motion which incorporate quantum corrections. The re- sulting theory appears to be a direct generalisation of the classical unimodular gravity instead of the general relativity. Upon obtaining the equations, we discuss their prop- erties and possible implications. As by-products, we also present a novel derivation of the Einstein equations from the thermodynamics of causal diamonds and a derivation of the logarithmic corrections to black hole entropy from the existence of minimal re- solvable area. Apart from the new results, we also provide an extensive review of the thermodynamics of local causal horizons. 1
Design, Creation and Implementation of an Automated Data Exchange Solution
Kachlík, Marek ; Líška, Michal (referee) ; Luhan, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the desing, creation and implementation of an automated data exchange solution. The solution is used for recording of financial data in database system. The first part of the thesis describes the teoretical concepts needed to understand the whole work. In the second part the analyses of the company and its environment are created. In the most supporting part of thesis, the actual design of the process solution is developed. The solution should result in a streamlining and overal optimalization of the already implemented solution in the form of automated uploading of financial data into the database system.
Data Exchange Automation
Spaček, Adrián ; Líška, Michal (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
Cílem této práce je popsání a analýza problematik datové výměny a automatizace procesů v prostředí živé databáze a externích zdrojů informací. V digitálním prostředí existuje mnoho způsobů získávání, transformace a transportu dat. Tato práce má za cíl jich opsat, dodávajíc argumenty pro a proti jejich použití v specifických situacích. Následně je prezentováno řešení situace vyžadující automatizaci datové výměny.
Automation of measurement of directional characteristics of sound sources
Nimmerrichter, Benjamin ; Liska, Matej (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelors thesis deals with the topic of automating the measuring of directional sound radiation characteristics of sound sources with the use of one to sixteen, possibly thirty-two microphones connected to an audio device, which supports the ASIO driver technology, which is connected to a computer with an installation of the MATLAB software. In the scope of this thesis a program was created, which is capable of measuring the 2D and 3D directional characteristics of sound sources and it can show the frequency spectrum of the signal. This work addresses the problematics of the effective value of discrete signals, calibration of microphones for measuring sound pressure level, the calculation and measuring of the level of acoustic pressure in dB (SPL), the autocorrelation of a discrete signal, plotting of the measurement in a polar or spherical plot and the calculation of the signal to noise ratio. This thesis contains a theoretical introduction to the measurement and to the propagation of sound, then the composition of the program and the measurement and an assessment of the measured results.
Preparation of methacrylated hydroxybutyrates monomers and polymers
Liška, Marek ; Mgr. Petra Zbořilová, Ph.D (referee) ; Figalla, Silvestr (advisor)
The aim of this work is the study, design, and preparation of methacrylated derivatives of poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) and the subsequent preparation of polymers from the prepared precursors. A total of six compounds were prepared. The prepared compounds include methyl-3-hydroxybutyrate and ethyl-3-hydroxybutyrate prepared by alcoholytic depolymerization with monofunctional alcohol and their methacrylated derivatives. The preparation of ethylene glycol terminated oligomer of 3-hydroxybutyrate prepared via depolymerization using ethylene glycol in two ways is also an essential part of the work. The first way involves depolymerization using conventional heating and the second one explores the preparation of a series of oligomers with different molecular weights using microwave heating. Methacrylated derivatives of the prepared oligomers were also prepared. The prepared compounds and their actual preparation are characterized using multiple analytical methods including VPO, NMR, GPC, FT-IR, LC-MS, and DSC. A series of polymers were obtained from the prepared compounds by radical polymerization using purple light (with wavelength 405 nm) as the energy source. The prepared polymer networks were characterized by DSC and their tensile strengths were tested.
Technická úroveň traktorů používaných aktuálně v zemědělství
LIŠKA, Michal
The historical development of tractors is summarized in the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis. Furthermore, the technology of currently used tractors and a description of the individual systems that currently used tractors in agriculture have are described here. In the practical part, based on a questionnaire survey, the development of tractors in selected agricultural enterprises in the vicinity of Jindřichov Hradec and their current technical level are monitored. Information from individual agricultural enterprises is subsequently summarized in statistics showing the shift of tractor vehicle fleets in the selected area.
Network Media Player with Built-in Class-D Amplifier
Liska, M. ; Štůsek, M.
The article’s major contributions summarize theory of the design class-D audio amplifier printed circuit board (PCB) with the possibilities of digital or analog input content. It introduces the possibilities of connecting a digital to analog (DA) converter, audio amplifier, analog filtering and digital volume control. Digital input signal is provided via a Raspberry Pi single-board computer, which is wirelessly connected to receive data in the form of streamed content. Furthermore, it describes the regulation of supply voltages for individual active parts of the printed circuit board. It is possible to connect the output of the amplifier to one pair of stereo speakers and one subwoofer speaker. The article contains a general placement of individual components on the PCB.
Potravní chování skorce vodního (Cinclus cinclus) na tocích okresu Tachov
LIŠKA, Martin
In the first part of the thesis, characteristics (physical, environmntal, quantity and quality of prey) of favourable food patches and reference plots inside the Dipper´s territories were examined. In the second part, correlations of prey (quantity and quality) characteristics and physical-environmental characteristics were examined. In the third part, correlations between single types of observed Dipper behaviour were examined. In the fourth part, correlations between characteristics (physical, environmntal, quantity and quality of prey) of food patches and observed time of the Dipper´s foraging behaviour were examined. In the fifth part of the thesis, correlations between the territory characteristics (physical, environmntal, quantity and quality of prey) and body measurements of single birds were examined.
Intergration of a charging station into a family house photovoltaic system
Liška, Martin ; Langerová, Petra (referee) ; Šedrlová, Magdalena (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with integrating a charging station into a family house photovoltaic system. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical and the practical. The purpose of the theoretical part was to conduct research about current possibilities concerning charging stations and their integration into the household. In the practical part, there were created function designs to integrate the charging station into the intelligent household and there was realised the testing of the selected charging station.
