Settlement structure of the Early Bronze Age in the northeast part of central Bohemia - the case study of fortified settlement in Brandýs nad Labem-Vrábí
Langová, Michaela ; Ernée, Michal (advisor) ; Bátora, Jozef (referee) ; Chvojka, Ondřej (referee)
Between 2007 and 2016, there was a rescue archeological research done by the Institute of Archaeology of the CAS in the locality of Brandýs nad Labem-Vrábí at the site "U Vodojemu", where, above other, a large settlement from the Early Bronze Age was uncovered. Based on the ceramics, it is possible to classify it chronologically as the early period of the Únětice culture, typologically then, it is possible to associate the ceramics found with the post-classical phase of the Únětice culture. The discovery of the U-shaped ditch adjacent to the ground edge of the Hrušovský stream indicates that the settlement was fortified for a certain time, approximately at the beginning of the 2nd millennium BC. Based on the nature of the ditch filling, of the ceramic findings with analogies in the beginning of the tumulus culture, as well as of the carbon dating, it is obvious that the settlement served further on after the downfall of this fortification, too, and thus for another 100 years at least. In the context of another very numerous, contemporaneous findings in the cadaster of Brandýs nad Labem, it is visible that the site "U Vodojemu" used to be a part of a large settlement agglomeration. A detailed mapping of the Early Bronze Age findings from the district of the north-east part of Central Bohemia has...
The Early Bronze Age settlement area at Brandýs nad Labem (Central Bohemia)-features with human skeletan remains
Langová, Michaela ; Bláhová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Moucha, Václav (referee)
In the year of 2007 has been in Brandýs nad Labem - Vrábí "U Vodojemu" (Central Bohemia) carried out an archeological exploration in the process of which has been uncovered many objects of human skeletal remains of varied kinds dated from the early bronze age. It has been found not only the burial site of the early Únětice culture but also human skeletal remains in the settlement holes, two graves in the base of the settlement holes, a barrow with a stone wreath in a preserved cultural layer and a ditch with several human bones. From the barrow and the ditch originated five radiocarbon dates that disagree with dating of these objects based on ceramics typology. Key words: Early Bronze Age, Brandýs nad Labem, cemetery, settlement, human skeletal remains.

Bone pins of the Early Bronze Age in Bohemia and Moravia
Čihák, Martin ; Bláhová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Langová, Michaela (referee)
Bone pins of the Early Bronze Age are interesting, not too frequent, and still properly unprocessed kind of artifact. Probably based on an older tradition, but they were soon replaced by the metal pins. The main objective is to develop as most detailed catalog of findings as is possible, tracking the finding context and chronological position of bone pins in the Early Bronze Age in Bohemia. The subject of the work is also a question of technology used in the production bone and antler industry and its evidence from the Bronze Age, focusing on the technology and processes used in the production of bone pins. Another factor which is monitored is the social status of bearers of the bone pins in the Early Bronze Age.

Testimony of features with human skeletal remains at the Únětice culture settlement near Vliněves, distr. of Mělník, central Bohemia
Langová, Michaela ; Moucha, Václav (referee) ; Bláhová, Zuzana (advisor)
This bachelor theses deals with human skeletal remains discovered in the settlement of the Únětice culture near Vliněves, distr. of Mělník, during the excavations between the years 2000-2004. Individual objects are compared on the basis of contents, inventory and the method of lay out of the skelets partly with each other and partly with selected comparable samples of objects without human remains. In the appendix is an anthropological evaluation carried by MUDr. Jakub Likovský, Ph.D. from the Institute of archaeology in Prague.
Back from the Future
Langová, Michaela ; Pospiszyl, Tomáš (referee) ; Kvíčala, Petr (advisor)
The cornerstone is a general view of the future as a world that is markedly different from ours. This vision of the future cannot be done due to the influence of presence. Inner inspiration is objects with unclear functions occurring in science fiction (stories Space Odyssey and AC Clark and iconic roadside picnic). Formally, the objects are inspired by different things from the world of science fiction (kryptonite, traffic alien machines from a newer version of War of the Worlds, Star Trek series and their transporters, etc.). Against this background, I am creating minimal objects with small signs of function as a testimony of traveler to the future. The basic material is a transparent silicone and LEDs.
