Load testing of ceiling structures

The object of this bachelor`s work is the description of preparation process, implementation and evaluation of static load test in-situ, including measurement technologies and load methods. The aim of this work is to outline the development and to analzse the eazs of performin load test in-situ. A static load test of concrete iron steel-boarded floor in-situ will be mentioned as the particular example.

Diagnosis of reinforced concrete buildings with the system of elevated ceilings

This thesis is focused on the diagnostics of reinforced concrete frame structures with the used system of elevated ceilings. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the issue of the methods of design and construction of these objects. The following chapter describes selected methods leading to determination of the material characteristics and to the specification of the constructional system. In its conclusion, the thesis deals with the appropriate design of implementation of the preliminary and detailed exploration of the structures with the used system of elevated ceilings.

Evaluation of the structural static condition of the existing structure

This thesis focuses on the assessment of the structural-statical condition of a building affected by a fire. The purpose of the evaluation is to determine the extent of damage and explore possibilities for future use. The theoretical part introduces the issue of fires in various structures and examines the impact of fire on different types of materials and constructions. In the practical part, there is an own evaluation of the object, a static assessment, the results of the inspection and a summary of the conclusions from the evaluation.

Application of GPR method for detection of structural failures

This Bachelor thesis deals with the non-destructive testing, which enable researches of failures in concrete inner structure. In the theoretical part of the thesis, selected methods are described based on their principles. Specific possibilities of use, abilities and limits are based on the method’s principle. In the practical part, the thesis focuses on Ground Penetrating Radar with the usage of a new multi-frequency scanning technology. The measurements took place with commonly used Ground Penetrating Radar Hilti PS 1000 X Scan and also with newly available Ground Penetrating Radar Proceq GPR Live. Not only the measurement results of model solids were compared, but also of real bridge construction.

Diagnostics of selected bridge structure

This thesis deals with building survey of bridge register number 43-011 located near Česká. The part of thesis is literary reaserch dealing with system of management and cotrol of road bridges, precast bridge contructions made with DS-C type girgers and about general diagnostical methods. The practical section contains of in situ diagnostical survey and bridge inspection, laboratory evaluation and comparision, load bearing capacity calculation and suggestion of potencional technical precautions.

Methods used in diagnosis of masonry structures

The thesis is focused on testing methods used in diagnosis of masonry structures. It describes their implementation and evaluation, as well the tools needed for their realization and also their advantages and disadvantages. The aim of the thesis is to compare most commonly used testing methods and to describe their application in practical example of static load test of brick pillar.
