Gothic and Renaissance tiles in Benešov district in the 15th and 16th centuries

This paper is devoted to stove pottery in the territory of the Benešov district in the period of the 15th and 16th centuries based on the processing of selected files from the collections of the Museum of Podblanicko. The main objective is to cover a basic knowledge of stove pottery in the area of interest in a defined period of time based on the analysis of diverse sets of ceramic tiles that come from different social environments and were acquired in different ways. In the introductory part, the study deals with a general overview of the current state of our knowledge about tiles and tiled stoves, especially their history in the territory of the Czech Republic. This is followed by a definition and a description from the point of view of natural conditions and geographical connections, a brief summary of a historical and archaeological knowledge of the region and above all, an overview of the current knowledge regarding stove ceramics in the area of Benešov. The last part of the paper is devoted to the analysis of selected locations with a specific focus on the analysis of sets of ceramic tiles and their inclusion in a wider context for example through the study of the iconography of relief tiles, but also the analysis of social contexts. Rural settlements in the hinterland of Prague in high and late middle ages. Settlement and agriculture development in suburban regions

Master's thesis deals with the micro-region Klánovice's forest and its surroundings on the eastern edge of the City Prague. This area has not been given comprehensive attention yet. The findings are based on a critical review of the humble written and archaeological sources relating to the concerned area. In addition, was made, analysis of archaeological excavation, which was carried out on the deserted village Hol and also geophysical survey from the same site. Based on the lessons learned to better classify and discuss the role of this area in the hinterland of high medieval Prague. Contributions to the architectonical design and interior fitting of the houses in the early modern villages and liege towns in Bohemia

The work consists of four chapters dedicated to selected aspects of research in architecture and interior fittings of houses of late medieval and early modern villages and small towns in the 2nd mid-15th in the 16th century. The first chapter deals with the occurrence of late Gothic and Renaissance architectural elements in the estates. It is conceived as a set of model clauses coherent analysis of material and written sources. In the end, there are social groups defined by the acquirers. The second chapter presents a balance of knowledge about the application of late Gothic and Renaissance tiles in the environment of farms and rural parishes. At the forefront are questions about the chronology of this phenomenon, the possibility of reconstruction of heating equipment, the confrontation with the results of research remaining buildings and comparison with a higher social milieu (manor houses). The third chapter presents the results of two-conceived interdisciplinary studies on collective findings of unusual types of tiles in a rural context. The aim of the analysis of written and material sources is an attempt to answer the question whether the tiled stove conveys the social status of the customer. Deserted village Žák. On the problems of early modern settlement forms

This bachelor thesis concerns with the deserted village in the location ák in Klánovice forest. This archaeological site has not been comprehensively researched yet. The findings are based on non-destructive archaeological methods and analysis of analogies of so far surveyed villages. The critical revision of previous modest pieces of knowledge was made, analysis of written sources and a geodetic-topographical survey of the village relicts was carried out especially. It was possible to obtain detailed drawing to restore resident form and to adumbrate the appearance of yards of particular estates.

Tato publikace přináší ucelený přehled principů a užívaných metod měřické dokumentace, seznamuje se základními pravidly terénní práce, zpracování i posuzování výsledných výstupů, poskytuje vzory základních forem dokumentace. Věnuje se však také zaměřování staveb v minulosti, používaným metodám a nástrojům. Klade si za cíl pomoci pracovníkům památkové péče kvalifikovaně formulovat požadavky na nově vznikající dokumentaci, posuzovat kvalitu odevzdávaných výstupů a v nezbytných případech také měřickou dokumentaci „svépomocí“ provádět. Architektům, stavebním inženýrům, ale zejména geodetům chce metodika přiblížit, co je z hlediska dokumentování historických staveb důležité a čím se práce v tomto kontextu odlišuje od práce v prostředí dnešní stavební produkce.
