Advanced Electronic Circuits Simulation Methods
Quartets without harmonic instrument in present-day jazz

Surveillance in the prevention of acute respiratory infections
Nyambe, Anayawa ; Kynčl, Jan (advisor)
The following work is dedicated to the study of Acute Respiratory Infections which can cause morbidity and mortality in all nations of the world. An outline of ARI was done in order to identify and classify this group of infectious diseases with influenza being the key acute respiratory infection, due to its nature of being a usual cause of devastating pandemics such as the recent swine flu. Due to this fact surveillance of Acute Respiratory Infections and Influenza like illnesses is very important. This study observes the surveillance method used in Czech Republic. If surveillance is carried out it may work as a means to prevent the spread of ARI by determining the risk groups, seeing the effectiveness of vaccines, noticing changes in seasonal trends and thus providing foresight into an effective action plan in the case that an epidemic or pandemic could occur. Data for this study was mostly obtained from internet data bases, research books and publications.
