Air conditioning in a nursing home
Kuthan, Tomáš ; Rubina, Aleš (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the design of air conditioning and refrigeration in a nursing home. The aim is to design suitable ventilation equipment and a com-fortable indoor microclimate in the building according to applicable regulations and standards. The theoretical part deals with distribution elements and their distribu-tion by type and function.

Genetic alogrithms: Characterical syllables of language
Kuthan, Tomáš ; Lánský, Jan (advisor) ; Skopal, Tomáš (referee)
Syllable based compression is a new approach to text compression. An important aspect of this approach are the dictionaries of common syllables. They are used in compression algorithms initialization and greatly affect the compression ratio. Until now they were created by a rather straight-forward analysis of text corpora. We believe that dictionaries created by genetic algorithms may help us lower the compression ratio. In this study we will design such an algorithm and test it on Czech and English texts.
Comparison of Large Alphabet Compression Methods
Kuthan, Tomáš ; Lánský, Jan (advisor) ; Majerech, Vladan (referee)
Text compression over alphabet of words or syllables brings up a new concern to deal with - the alphabet needs to be transferred between coder and decoder along with the message. Especially with small or middle-sized documents the code of the alphabet forms a signi cant part of the resulting le. Therefore it is desirable to represent the alphabet as dense as possible. The topic of this thesis is a comparison of three approaches to large alphabet compression - static, semiadaptive and adaptive approach. Moreover the potential of static initialization of adaptive methods with frequent words is analyzed. Furthermore a new and highly eff ective method for compression of a set of strings is introduced.
Classification of selected agricultural crops from time series of Sentinel-2 and PlanetScope imagery in Kutnohorsko model area
Kuthan, Tomáš ; Kupková, Lucie (advisor) ; Potůčková, Markéta (referee)
Classification of selected agricultural crops from time series of Sentinel-2 and PlanetScope imagery in Kutnohorsko model area Abstract The thesis is focused on the analysis of spectral characteristics of selected agricultural crops druring agriculutural season from time series of Sentinel -2 (A and B) and PlanetScope sensors in the model area situated around the settlements of Kolín and Kutná Hora. It is based on the assumption that the use of multiple dates of image data acquired crops in different phenological phases of the crops allows better identification of crop species (Lu et al., 2004). The aim of the thesis was to analyse the characteristics of the seasonal course of spectral features of selected agricultural crops (sugar beet, spring barley, winter barley, maize, spring wheat, winter wheat, winter rape) and to determine the period of the year suitable for the differentiation of individual crops. Another aim of the thesis was to classify these crops in the model area from time series of two above-mentioned sensors and to compare the accuracy of the pixel and object-oriented classification approach for multitemporal composites and the accuracy for monotemporal image from the term when the individual crops are clearly distinguishable. The training and validation datasets and the classification mask...

Project documentation for internet projects
KUTHAN, Tomáš
The bachelor work gives the pattern for the creation of a project documentation of internet projects including samples on a concrete example and use in practice. The theoretic part describes basic rules which should be followed during the creation of documentation. At the same time it offers sample documents and the basic pattern of technique. On the other hand the practical part attends to application of the theory to the practice. As an example of the project documentation in practice was used the application SuperOPL of the Informative and application portal at which I work as a head programmer.
