Nursing Case of a Patient with Hysterectomy.

Diploma thesis I developed in the study of nursing. I chose a particular klient, a lady X. Y., who was taken apríl 6, 2010 at the gynecologicae department. The reason for the adoption of the proposed operation - laparoscopic assisted vaginae hysterectomy. Labours has 60 pages and consists of theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part, I focused on the anatomy of the uterus, the types of laparoscopis operations, describing the operation of its indications and contraindications for this procedure. Finally, I focused on benign diseases of the uterus. The practical part describes the nursing process with Mrs. X. Y., which was elaborated by M. Gordon.
Attitudes to Smoking Prevention

Synopsis The subject of the bachelor thesis "Attitudes to smoking prevention" is the analysis of attitudes of secondary medical schools in Prague and of their students towards preventing smoking. The first part of the thesis summarizes the historical and contemporary view on the subject of smoking from a general standpoint and it emphasizes the negative effect of smoking on the human organism. The thesis also mentions preventative measures and health programs. The second part is based on my own research and it contains a comparison of two secondary medical schools and also an analysis of said research. Here I deal with the view of students on the issue of smoking in particular and list my own practical suggestions.
The influence of the burnout syndrome on the sexuality of non medical health care female workers in emergency care setting through internet surveys

(v AJ) Introduction to Issue: The examined issue of the thesis is the influence of burnout and its development on the sexuality of women in health care in emergency care. Since there are a few nurses working in hospital facilities, I think they are in great danger of burnout. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate this issue and discover possible solutions to avoid burnout. The objective of the thesis is to find out whether burnout syndrome and its development influence the sexuality of non-medical health workers. Methodology: The research was conducted by means of a quantitative method using the online questionnaire on the website Ošetřovatelství.info. The data were collected using two questionnaires, the first focused on burnout (the Czech version of the Shirom and Melamed scale) and the second, which investigated the sexual function of the respondents (KRATOCHVÍL, Stanislav. Treatment of Sexual Dysfunctions). All nurses and female paramedics working in intensive care were included in the research sample. Results: The results were processed in Microsoft Excel and the resulting averages in each region were compared with one another. The total research sample is 110 nurses and female medical rescuers. Nurse as a family members educator of cancer patients.

This bachelor's thesis is focused on the issue of a nurse acting as an educator for relatives of cancer patients. Apart from professional medical care, cancer patients also need psychological support and care throughout all the stages of cancer. Support of their family is especially important. Education is a necessity for their psychological support. Part of this thesis deals with issues of breast cancer in female patients, the psychological difficulties they face during the illness and support of family members and education they can receive from a nurse. Public awareness about the issue of hemorrhoids

v anglickém jazyce Hemorrhoids, defined as dilated vascular plexus in rectum and anus, is a disease that affects significant and diverse part of population. This disease is caused mainly by unhealthy and sedentary lifestyle, which is typical for many people these days. Every individual can either prevent or change most of the factors contributing to the emergence of this disease by altering his or her lifestyle. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine whether the general public is informed about the problems of hemorrhoids or not. The theoretical part focuses on the knowledge concerning the disease hemorrhoids, its historical evolution, anatomy, symptoms, causes, diagnosis, complications, treatment and nursing care after hemorrhoidectomy. The conclusion of this part deals with the prevention of hemorrhoids and education. The empirical part of the thesis includes a quantitative research, which was implemented by questionnaire survey. The goal was to examine whether respondents are informed about the problems of hemorrhoids, if they follow preventive procedures and how do they apply these elements in everyday life. Nursing process of women after laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy in the working age.

This thesis deals with the nursing process in women with laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy. The thesis is divided into theoretical part and empirical part. The theoretical part is focused on the anatomy and physiology of the uterus and female reproductive organs. Next chapter is dedicated to hysterectomy and its performace realization. The individual subsections are focused on varions ways of operating and complications of hysterectomy. The last chapter of the theoretical part describes the process of care, which is divided into pre- and postoperative period. The empirical part includes detailed nursing history of a patient after laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy in the form of a nursing case study. In conclusion, there are established nursing diagnoses and their elaboration. The work is complemented with an educational plan, which describes how the patient should be educated.
Specifics of care for women with postpartum in intensive care

The thesis is focused on the specifics of care for women with postpartum bleeding in intensive care. Part of this work are two segments, theoretical and empirical. The first segment focuses on the theoretical part, which lists the existing knowledge from literature approaching the issue of bleeding complications accompanying childbirth, especially postpartum period, when the lack of timely solution can endanger the woman's life. This section defines the terms postpartum bleeding, hemorrhagic shock, DIC, intensive care and severe postpartum bleeding complications. The work also focuses on nursing care for women with postpartum bleeding. The theoretical part is concluded postoperative nursing care. The second segment of the work is of empirical character. The main objective of this thesis was to investigate how the care provided to the ARO / ICU for women with problems postpartum bleeding. This part of the non-standardized using an anonymous questionnaire identifies issues of bleeding complications in postpartum period. The work deals with the level of care provided in intensive care for women with severe postpartum bleeding complications, knowledge of the healthcare paramedical personnel in the care of patients with postpartum bleeding and acquiring new information on nursing care in case postpartum...
Sudden death in sport

Sudden death in sport is a tragic event mediated primarily through the media. This thesis deals with sudden cardiac death from non-traumatic causes. The first section provides the overview of the issue, I mentioned specific cases of sudden death and the most common cause of sudden cardiac death among young and old athletes. The thesis focuses on the possibilities of preventive measures. In the second part, as part of my research, preparedness of Czech stadiums is evaluated situations of sudden cardiac death. In the conclusion section, I present the results of a questionnaire survey among representatives of clubs and stadiums and change proposals. The aim of the research is to find out how hockey and football stadiums are prepared for unpredictable situations of sudden cardiac death of athletes.
