Issues of the LaserHybrid welding method
Znášik, Samuel ; Sigmund, Marian (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
The thesis deals with the issue of using LaserHybrid welding for the energy industry where the combination of laser and arc could facilitate higher quality welds resistant to aggressive environments, corrosion and oxidation. The methods that the hybrid process produce as well as possible replacements for the MIG and MAG methods are explored, as well as the different configurations and their possible impact on the process. The possible use of the technology for hyperbaric welding is also presented. The experimental part is devoted to the welding of refractory martensitic steel used in the power industry for the production of steam turbines. Weld structures at different parameters were investigated and hardnesses were compared.
Design of a welded go-cart frame
Kůřil, Michal ; Izák, Josef (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
The work is focused on the design of a welded go-kart frame. The frame is welded from 32 mm tubes and 2 mm wall thickness. The material 25CrMo4 was chosen as it is widely used for frame structures in motorsport. The CNC CO2 laser was chosen to cut the tubes. Universal welding jigs were chosen due to the single piece production. Furthermore, metallographic tests of three samples were performed. Two were TIG welded, and one was MAG welded. There was chosen an austenitic filling material, which has good tenacity, and it is assumed to provide long lifespan while being mechanically loaded. Also, the Vickers hardness test was done.
Assessment of suitability welding modes MIG PULSE and MIG DOUBLE PULSE for repairing of forging die
Sotolář, Vojtěch ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Izák, Josef (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the renovation of forging dies by pulse methods, specifically MIG pulse and MIG double pulse. The subject of this research was a part of forging die made of steel Wr.Nr 1.2343ESU (H11), however the problem was simplified to the welding of four prisms with the same type of material. The main goal was to evaluate whether these methods can be utilized to speed up the entire renovation process as the welding speed is its undeniable advantage. There were used two types of welding materials to assess the suitability of the renovation. For the tough weld was used the martensitic material CRONITEX RC 58 and for the interlayer was used austenitic-feritic material WELCO A1660. The assessment was conducted based on the non-destructive visual test and also based on destructive tests of macrostructure, microstructure and hardness measurement. The experiment results showed that configuration of tough material with interlayer is inappropriate. The most suitable process seems to be the welding of only tough layer without any interlayer.
Introduction of an invertebrate animal model, Galleria Galleria mellonellamellonella, to study the in vivo efficacy of existing and newly synthesized, candidate antituberculotics

Charles university, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biological and Medical Sciences Study program: Pharmacy Author: Jiří Kubíček Supervisor: RNDr. Klára Konečná, Ph.D. Title of thesis: Introduction of an invertebrate animal model, Galleria mellonella, to study the in vivo efficacy of existing and newly synthesized, candidate antituberculotics. Background: The aim of this diploma thesis has been to present an invertebrate organism, Galleria mellonella (G. mellonella), Pyralidae, as an alternative, more economically advantegous and morally more acceptable model for in vivo studies of an antituberculotics (anti-TB) efficacy. In the experimental part of this work, attention was paid to the optimization of methodological steps, that should lead to a higher reproducibility and validity of the obtained data. The effect of the disaggregating supplement, tyloxapol, on the growth of Mycobacterium aurum (M. aurum) was evaluated. The growth of this microbial strain in the culture medium, Middlebrook 7H9, was also mapped to determine the exponential growth phase. In the second part of the experiments, G. mellonella larvae were infected with a M. aurum bacterial strain, followed by an administration of the selected, commercially available anti-TB. Methods: To map the exponential phase of M....
Medical center in Prostějov
Kubíček, Jan ; Hobzová, Klára (referee) ; Benešová, Romana (advisor)
The aim of this master´s thesis is to elaborate the project documentation of a new-built medical facilty for building permit, in the cadaster area of Prostějov. The building has six medical offices with facilities, pharmacy with the production of drugs and X-ray equipment. The building is simply-shaped, with two aboveground floors. The vertical loadbearing structures are designed from sand-lime blocks. The building is insulated by a ETICS with ventilated facade with green facade. The horizontal loadbearing structures and the staircase are designed from reinforced cast-in-place prefabricated parts. The concept of flat roof is an extensive green roof. The building is heated by gas condensing boiler. The building uses photovoltaics to produce electricity for save non-renewable resources. The building is ventilated using mechanical ventilation. In the third part, an assessment of water management was performed. The project was processed in ArchiCAD and Lumion.
Portrait art in the work of Egon Schiele.
KUBÍČEK, Jan
The bachelor's thesis Portrait Art in the Work of Egon Schiele is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the important stages of life and cultural environment that influenced Egon Schiele. It also focuses on his selected artistic work, with an emphasis on portrait and self-portrait. The practical part is based on the findings of the first part, follows the self-portrait of Egon Schiele and tries to get inspiration in his distinctive style and technique. The aim of the practical part is a cycle of the bachelor's thesis author's self-portraits , accompanied by sketch material.
Customer protection in the provision of investment services
Kubíček, Jan ; Kotáb, Petr (advisor) ; Sejkora, Tomáš (referee)
Customer protection in the provision of investment services Approaches to supervision This diploma thesis investigates possibilities and opportunities in the field of financial regulation and supervision conducted by the Czech National Bank. Its focus is the protection of customer in the area of investment services. The thesis begins with the research question and the reasons why it was chosen. Then, basic overview of the financial law framework in the Czech Republic is provided. The thesis continues with general remarks on deterrence and persuasion as two distinctive extremes. Some conclusions form the literature are compiled. A number of experiences is distilled from papers and empirical studies, too. Sources are not only from the field of financial regulation and supervision, but also from other fields. These form the basic framework for closer investigation of several supervisory/regulatory approaches. Then pros and cons of several regulatory approaches are evaluated. These are: responsive regulation, smart regulation, principles-based regulation and anticipatory regulation. One part is dedicated to evaluating conclusions drawn from real experiences with implementation of yet another approach, cooperative regulation (which has some similar characteristics with the others) in the field of tax regulation...
