The thesis called Strategic Analysis of Czech Airlines which completely analyses current situation within the company. It presents theoretical base for such an analysis and subsequently offers situational analysis, which includes the analysis of external environment, internal environment and suggestions for improvement. The thesis includes a complete companys SWOT analysis and offers the applying of Porters five forces framework. The thesis also includes recommendations and suggestions for the competitive strategy.

The aim of this thesys is to carry out a strategic analysis of the company Nutrend DS, which acts in the field of nutrition and provides nutritional supplements for athletes . Strategic and financial analysis were used throughout the work, in concrete the PESTLE analysis, competition in the industry , Porter five forces analysis and SWOT analysis. The theoretical part presents methods, which are subsequently applied to the practical part of the problem solving. Based on the data, recommendations and procedures were made to the company in order to improve its own strategic management.

Srovnání manažerských aspektů corporate governance v rámci skupin společností ve vybraných jurisdikcích

One of the ways how to solve the agency problem is to align the managers and shareholders interests. Such concord can be achieved through an appropriate selection and set-up of remuneration policy for the top managers of companies. This thesis studies the compensation methods of five biggest corporations in each of the G7 countries and then further analyses the outcomes of the research using statistical and descriptive methods. The analysis is done through a comparison of performance of the company and the industry in order to identify if there is a link between the used compensation method and the company s under or over performance. The findings are described and eventual implications are presented at the end of the paper.

The Impact of Board Structure and Diversity on IPO Underpricing

The objective of this doctoral dissertation is to extend the existing knowledge in the area of Corporate Governance in the region of Central Europe. Specifically, a study focuses on companies entering the public market and examines whether board structure and diversity have an impact on the success of the Initial Public Offering. The dissertation is divided into several parts. Firstly, theory of Corporate Governance and Signaling theory, explaining the potential influence of the board characteristics on the public offering outcome, are introduced. The following is an extensive literature review related to each of the selected variables. In the analytical part of the thesis, methods of statistical analysis are employed to verify the hypotheses and the results are discussed considering the findings of prior studies.

Analysis of the Competitiveness of the Janek, s. r .o. Company

The subject matter of this Bachelor thesis is "an analysis of the competiveness of the company Janek s. r. o." The main goal of this thesis is to analyze a company with methods of strategic and financial analysis to estimate its success in comparision to its competitors. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part deals with general information about the competition, competitiveness, methods of financial and strategic analysis and about their tools and purpose. These theoretical methods are then applied to a chosen company in the theoretical part of the thesis. The strategic analysis of the micro-environment is built on methods of benchmarking and the Porter's model of five forces. The analysis of the macro-environment is based on the PEST method. The financial situation is reviewed on the basis of horizontal and vertical analysis and ratios. The summary of the practical part is done through the SWOT method. The conclusion of the thesis includes findings and suggestions for possible measures to improve business competitiveness.

Corporate Governance in Financial Crisis

This Master's thesis aims to analyze changes in the corporate governance during the financial crisis, highlight the main changes in the field of corporate governance in UniCredit during this period and compare UniCredit`s Corporate Governance with OECD principles. In addition, on the basis of the analysis carried out, my objective will be to recommend possible updates in the Principles and also generalize the findings in order to help Czech companies improve their current system of governance.

The aim of the thesis is the implementation of a Controlling System in Gearspect Group s.r.o. company, and its results and contributions to the management of the company. Main contribution of author will be practical application of Controlling Information Systems and generalization of the results for Controlling System Implementation in small-medium sized companies within Czech engineering industry. The central goal of this thesis is to pinpoint the necessity and significance of the successful application of controlling and its instruments in management of a company. This thesis includes the theoretical framework of controlling, literature overview of controlling applied, analysis of current situation and processes in the company, suggesting the optimum implementation of such system, and finally the results in the company that can be further generalized for small-medium sized companies within the Czech engineering industry.

Financial analysis of the Vinium Company

The aim of the Bachelor thesis is an evaluation of the financial situation of the Vinium Company from an owners' view. Financial analysis will be performed for the periods of 2009-2013 using vertical and horizontal analysis, the financial ratio, solvency and bankruptcy models. In the next step, I will make an intercompany rating with similar companies. The annual reports 2009-2013 were used as a starting material for evaluation. In the conclusion of the thesis is a recommendation for the owners, they should focus on decreasing the share of interest expenses, which would help to generate profit and improve the resulting value of the financial ratio. A lower debt would also lead to the fulfilling of balance sheet rules and better results when analysing solvency and bankruptcy models, at the moment the company is in the bankruptcy zone. The overall financial health of the company isn't very good, because it didn't give any economical added value in any of the years to its owners. Vinium is dependent on financial help from its parent company České vinařské závody a.s. and the companies in the group Prosperita. The strong side of the company is its trade deficit, when Vinium a.s. uses interest-free loans from its suppliers.

Financial analysis of Jihlava Brewing Company, Inc.

The aim of this bachelor thesis titled "Financial analysis of Jihlava Brewing Company, Inc" is to assess the financial position of the company on the basis of a financial analysis for the period 2008 - 2012 and compare situation of Jihlava Brewing Company with both the industry and the competitive firm. The financial analysis is prepared for the purposes of the owners, thus focusing on profit of the company. The source of information for the development of the necessary calculations are publicly available financial statements of the company and the statements of the companies included in the comparison. For analysis of the company were used horizontal and vertical analysis of the balance sheet, balance sheet rules, the effect of financial leverage, analysis of financial ratios, economic value added, comparison with the business sector, inter-company comparisons and the use of bankruptcy and credibility models. In the conclusion of this work is a summary of the most important results and recommendations to improve the financial situation and the overall financial health of the company Jihlava Brewing Company, Inc. I assess The overall financial condition of the brewery Jihlava, Inc. rather positively. Although the Jihlava Brewery Company, Inc. has not yet provided added value to its owners, the value of ratios indexes are positive and relatively stable. Acquisition of Lobkowicz Brewing Company Group, Inc. was successful and the Jihlava rewery was saved from liquidation. The biggest weakness of Brewery Jihlava, is high time of receivables collection and low return of equity.

Assessment of the corporate governance structure of the selected company

This bachelor's thesis aims to assess the approach of the company Koninklijke Ahold N.V to the compliance with principles of Dutch Corporate Governance Code. Selected problem will be solved by comparing the principles contained in the code with available company's data using methodology of multiple-criteria decision analysis. The outcome of this assessment is that the company has fully complied with the 89% of the principles of the code in 2014. In the end of the practical part of this thesis there will be also formulated some recommendations preventing potential corporate crisis.
