Kučerová, Veronika ; Levínská, Kateřina (advisor) ; Pokorný, Jan (referee)
Bibliografický záznam KUČEROVÁ, Veronika. Medial tibial stress syndrome in runners and treatment of syndrome. Prague: Charles University, 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Department of Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, 2023. Supervisor of work: Mgr. et. Bc. Kateřina Levínská. Abstract The topic of this bachelor thesis is medial tibial stress syndrome (MTSS) in runners and its treatment. The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part with case studies and a questionnaire. In the theoretical part, the existing knowledge about MTSS is summarized. The practical part is divided into two sections. The first section presents the results of the questionnaire survey, verifying the correlation of the data from the literature review in the theoretical part with a real population sample. The second section contains the case reports of the patients themselves and the treatment proposal. The case report development involved a detailed initial examination, a follow-up therapy, and an exit examination. As part of the initial examination, an anamnesis was taken and a thorough kinesiological analysis was performed. The kinesiological analysis included an aspect examination, measurements of anthropometry, goniometry, navicular drop, weight distribution on the lower limbs, and special examinations such as the...
Study on expression of selected ABC transporters in placenta
Kučerová, Veronika ; Čečková, Martina (advisor) ; Karbanová, Sára (referee)
Charles University Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology Student: Veronika Kučerová Supervisor: doc. PharmDr. Martina Čečková, Ph.D. Consultant: PharmDr. Lenka Ťupová, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Study on expression of selected ABC transporters in placenta The placenta is a temporary organ through which the fetus is supplied with nutrients and oxygen from the mother's blood and conversely waste substances are transferred into the mother's blood during pregnancy. Substance transfer through the placenta is a complex process controlled by a number of physiological mechanisms, including passive diffusion, facilitated diffusion or active transport, which is realized by activity of membrane transporters with energy consumption. Presence of active ABCs efflux transporters in the placenta has been known for a long time and their function is associated primarily with limiting the entry of harmful substances into the placenta and further into the fetus, thus contributing to its protection. Among the best described transporters belong P-glycoprotein (MDR1/ABCB1), breast cancer resistance protein (BCRP/ABCG2) and multidrug resistance protein 2 (MRP2/ABCC2), whose expression has been confirmed in the apical membrane of the placental syncitiotrophoblast facing...

Adaptive order creation in an engineering company
Kučerová, Veronika ; Knoflíček, Radek (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the influences on business planning, to which companies adapt in effort to succeed in a dynamic production and market environment. The influencing effect causing changes in the production company and the ability to react flexibly can eliminate possible losses or outages in production. However, adaptation leads to significant interventions throughout the company's value chain. The theoretical part presents the possibilities of business planning, which can have a significantly useful impact on management of the order across the pre-production and production stages. In the practical part, simulation models are demonstrated proofing nagative influencing effects. Then the methodology is compiled, witch leads the future user, how to limit or eliminate both internal and external disturbing effects.
The automatic tool change system
Kučerová, Veronika ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Blecha, Radim (advisor)
Automatic tool change is one of the key ways to reduce unproductive machine times and increase machine productivity. This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of automatic tool change. A research is made of the current state of the topic and the subsequent division into individual categories.
Alcohol and violent crime - case study
Kučerová, Veronika ; Šejvl, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Štefunková, Michaela (referee)
The topic of this thesis is the effect of alcohol consumption on committing violent crime. The aim of this work is to describe the relationship between alcohol use and perpetration of violent crime using a description of selected violent crimes. The theoretical part deals firstly with the individual areas such as alcohol and violent crime. In the following paragraphs work connects these two concepts - thus dealing with alcohol as a criminogenic factor. Finally, the work is devoted to the theoretical models that describe link between alcohol and crime. The practical part contains a description and analysis of two selected violent crimes - murder and robbery, which resulted from a qualitative analysis of court files. Within it are described the circumstances in detail that led to the commission of a crime in connection with the use of alcohol. The work aims to address three main issues - whether the use of alcohol has a role in the criminal career of the offender; on what circumstances related to the commission of the offense is the expertise pointing, as to the issue of alcohol use and express that it is possible in these cases find the influence of alcohol applied to the offense.

Renewable energy legislation
Kučerová, Veronika ; Štěpánek, Petr (advisor) ; Černý, Pavel (referee)
This master thesis discusses current legislation in the field of supported and renewable energy sources. At the beginning of the thesis are defined renewable energy sources from the perspective of Czech legislation and of professional view. The second part is focused on legislation regarding renewable energy sources in the European Union and the Czech Republic. Follows an overview of the support tools and legislation regarding renewable energy sources in other member states of the European Union and the current status of the set objectives related to the share of energy from renewable sources in gross final energy consumption, which have been established by Directive 2009/28/EC. At the end is summary, along with an overview of the most successful and least successful countries in terms of achieving the objective.
