Grab sampler for handling with wood

The assignment of this thesis is a design of the wood manipulation grab to be used with small hydraulic cranes. The aim is to design a grab with lifting capacity of 2000 kg. The results of thesis can be used to diversify production of the company Agama a.s. Primarily, the grab should be lightweight, easy to manufacture and affordable.

This bachelor thesis is dealing with issue of data backuping in production company ITW PRONOVIA, s.r.o. in automotive industry. In first part is theoretical basis of thesis where is introduced data backuping and data archiving. There is also introduced several principles of data backuping and backup devices. In second part of work there is analyzed current status of data storages and data backup. In the last part the appropriate solution is proposed based on this informations for improving the situation.

High volume fly ash concrete

Bachelor thesis consist of two parts. The aim of teoretical part is to explore possibilities of usage and properties of high volume fly ash concrete with 40 – 70 % cement replacement. To make an overview of development of strength, durability in various environments, reduction of heat evolution etc. The aim of the experimental part is to compare properties of various class concretes with various amount of fly ash.

Waterpark Jeseník - selected geotechnical problems

The bachelor thesis discusses the possible ways of establishing the basics of structures. Its main focus lays on foundation pads and piles. The practical part consists of finding a solution regarding two different approaches of the foundation of the waterslide in Aquapark Jeseník. Even though the proposed variants are calculated without the use of computational software, software GEO 5 is used to compare the results. The conclusion contains the comparison and evaluation of the results of both approaches.

Comparison of the level of balance-oriented coordination skills in fifth, seventh and ninth graders

This bachelor's thesis examines the level of coordination abilities of pupils in the 5th, 7th and 9th grades of elementary school, i.e. in developmentally very diverse periods. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of coordination abilities and their division, further compares the period of prepubescence and puberty and presents test batteries that check coordination. The research was carried out using the Iowa-Brace test, which was used to verify the level of general coordination abilities of pupils. The methodological part describes the course of the testing (including a description of the preparation) that took place in two elementary schools in Prague in a total of nine classes. The measured data confirmed a statistically significant increase in coordination skills between 5th and 7th grade students, while between 7th and 9th grade their increase was less than 5%. These findings are in agreement with the theory of Prof. Karel M kota, CSc. (M kota and Novosad, 2005). Furthermore, girls showed better coordination skills than boys in all grades. Pupils engaged in individual sports also achieved higher results compared to pupils engaged in team sports. KEYWORDS Coordination, Iowa - Brace test, balance training, development, older school age

This thesis focuses on the design of a family house. It is strawbale house with wooden framework construction. As the foundation of the building is used crawlspace type. In the text part of this thesis is described procedure of designing the house, materials, which are used in this house, composition and construction of the building. The practical part consist of the draft of the strawbale house, drawings, documentation and other parts regarding about the design of the house.

Foreign Policy of Obama's and Trump's Administration towards Turkey

This bachelor's thesis deals with the comparison of Barack Obama's and Donald Trump's policies towards Turkey in the context of the current crisis in the relationship with United States. The aim of the thesis is to answer the question of whether the policies of the two presidents were coherent and how the possible differences are reflected in today's deteriorating relations. The work focuses on three areas: cooperation inside NATO, the Kurdish minority issue, and the transformation of the domestic political situation in Turkey. The thesis argues that despite a different general approach to foreign policy, the concrete steps taken by both Presidents towards Turkey do not differ significantly. Obama's disillusionment with the perception of the U.S.-Turkey relationship as a model partnership has considerably changed his own policy in the second term. Within NATO, Trump followed up on Obama's policy towards Turkey through the support of the missile defense system and the ongoing use of US military facilities inside Turkey. The Kurdish question represents the most critical point in the relationship. Trump has so far supported Kurdish cooperation to the same extent as Obama, but recent agreements with Erdoğan may lead to a change in his approach and to a consequent improvement in relations. From the public art museum to a small non-commercial gallery

This diploma thesis focuses on the topic of the gradual development of European art exhibition institutions whose modern stage dates to the early 19th Century and continues to the present. The characterization of the beginning of this modern phase is generally associated with the commencement of establishing first public art museums. The thesis will outset from this period in art history and focus on the linear evolution of art exhibition institutions to its present form. The thesis comments on an institutional change of exhibition space which is not perceived as a separate and socially independent process. On the contrary the work puts this gradual transformation into social, political and cultural contexts. Through the topic of modern institutional criticism the thesis moves to address contemporary European trends which severely affect the very specific environment of Czech exhibition institutions. The primary institutional structure, which was formed by the public demand and national unification, is here put into context of the current Czech situation which in response to the current official art institutions reacts by establishing small galleries which operate on a community basis.

The aim of this thesis is to analyse various factors, which decisive authority takes into account when assessing the likelihood of confusion between trademarks and due to the extensiveness of this issue the thesis focuses only on selected key aspects. The aim of this thesis is also to analyse the case law of the ECJ and the court regarding the likelihood of confusion on basis of which the Czech courts often decide. This thesis is divided into eight chapters, which contains several subchapters. The first chapter deals with current importance of trademarks and also with the term trademark as defined in Trademark Act and in the relevant EU legislation with regard to changes in definition of trademark due to the adoption of Directive of European parliament and Council (EU) 2015/2436 and Regulation of European parliament and Council (EU) 2015/2424.
