Solubility of polypropylene in hydrocarbon solvents
Urbánková, Radka ; Kučera, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kratochvíla, Jan (advisor)
Polypropylene, on a mass-scale produced polyolefin, shows an excellent combination of end-use properties, eco-friendliness, easy recyclability, and a good processability by different technologies. Key structural parameters of polypropylene are its stereoregularity, molecular weight, and its distribution. A theoretical part of this work compiles a bibliographic search and an experimental part deals with extraction and solubility of polypropylene powder prepared on a highly active Ziegler-Natta polymerization catalyst. Extractions at a boiling point temperature of solvents (pentane - hexane - cyclohexane - hex-1-ene - benzene - heptane - octane - ethylbenzene) resulted in a progressive increase of extracted portions with temperature of extraction. Solvents used within this work were characterised by their physical properties, and steric and electronic parameters such as molecular weight, density, boiling point temperature, dipole moment, refractive index, and Hildebrand´s solubility parameter. Extraction PP at a constant temperature 36°C (boiling point of pentane) at a saturated vapour pressure in a series of hydrocarbon solvents (pentane – hexane – heptane – octane) resulted in practically the same results. Boiling octane extractable fraction at a temperature 36°C was nearly 100 % higher than fractions extracted by the other solvents. The origin of this phenomenon has not been revealed. Polypropylene solubility was determined by a complete dissolving the sample at 140°C in a series of aliphatic and aromatic solvents (pentane - hexane - cyclohexane - hex-1-ene - benzene - heptane - octane - toluene - ethylbenzene - o-xylene - m-xylene - p-xylene - decalin - chlorbenzene - 1,2-dichlorbenzene), followed by cooling the solution down to a laboratory temperature, and separating a soluble fraction, and an insoluble one. The stereoregularity of soluble fractions was characterised by a 13C NMR method, the crystallinity by a DSC method, and a molecular weight distribution by a GPC method. As a result, polypropylene solubility decreases with increasing the Hildebrand solubility parameter of the solvent that corresponds with theoretical expectations. Moreover, PP solubility correlates strongly with a refractive index, and a density of solvent.
Waterpark Jeseník - selected geotechnical problems
Kučera, Jakub ; Fiala, Radek (referee) ; Glisníková, Věra (advisor)
The bachelor thesis discusses the possible ways of establishing the basics of structures. Its main focus lays on foundation pads and piles. The practical part consists of finding a solution regarding two different approaches of the foundation of the waterslide in Aquapark Jeseník. Even though the proposed variants are calculated without the use of computational software, software GEO 5 is used to compare the results. The conclusion contains the comparison and evaluation of the results of both approaches.

The thesis is focused on open data and their metadata visualization. According to specialized literature in field of open data, data visualization and user experience the author prepares redesign of national catalogue of open data. The design is the main objective of the thesis. Particular objective is description of open data itself and their publication followed by comparison of existing instruments used for open data publication and visualization. The redesign can be seen as the main contribution, especially because it takes into account impulses of actual users. Another contribution is comparison of existing open data publication and visualization instruments with recommendation of the most appropriate one. The thesis consists of introduction, theoretical section, practical section and conclusion. The introduction offers an overview of open data visualization which is then analyzed more profoundly in the theoretical part. The practical part focuses on user experience and the data catalogue redesign itself. The open data catalogue redesign is attached.

Glossary Mapping Terminology of Software Quality Control
Charvát, Jiří ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Kučera, Jan (referee)
This paper deals with areas of software quality management. The introduction describes a development of software testing and explains its importance. The paper also describes the focus of the ISO 29119 standard Software testing and its structure. The ISTQB associa-tion has a significant impact on software quality management, which is also addressed in this paper in detail. Because the terminology of testing varying, the practical part is focused on mapping terms between ISO 29119 and ISTQB. The terms are categorized into groups according to their relationship, and in the cases where the terms do not match, they are explained in more detail.
Support the publication of open data in municipalities
Tichý, Petr ; Chlapek, Dušan (advisor) ; Kučera, Jan (referee)
This thesis deals with so-called open data. Specifically, it aims to support the publication of open data in municipalities. The work has three defined objectives - to analyze the issue of open and linked data, to analyze and select data suitable for opening, and to create an application to facilitate the opening and visualization of data. Each goal provides some partial benefit, but the main and the biggest benefit is the verification of standardized process that allow for opening and publication of data in a small village. The structure of the work is partly based on defined goals. It consists of an introduction, theoretical part, practical part and conclusion. The introductory part deals with basic introduction to the work, defining goals and present searches resources. In the theoretical part basic concepts of open and linked data are defined, then presents the benefits and risks associated with the opening of data are presented. Then, a standardized process of opening and publication of data is introduced as well as the evaluation of the current situation of open data in the Czech Republic and in other countries. The practical part sets objectives subdivided to the described process of opening and publication of data in the selected municipality and describes the process of designing and creating applications using open data from the previous process. The conclusion summarizes the whole work, and discusses whether and how the objectives are reached.
Design of a database for the administration system of projects of a design studio
Sládek, Daniel ; Palovská, Helena (advisor) ; Kučera, Jan (referee)
Objective of the bachelor thesis was to propose a database for the administration of projects of one design studio. In order to fulfil the main objective there were defined partial objectives, such as the analysis of requirements, design of database and the implementation of databases in MySQL. The thesis is divide into theoretical and practical part, while the theoretical part explains the methodology for the design of database in the thesis and the ER model. The practical part contains the analysis of requirements for a database and then the design of a database, when there is the result of model of databases at the end of each level. You will find a conceptual, logical and physical model of the proposed database in the thesis. Then such database is put into operation in MySQL and then the proposed database is verified according to the criterions of fulfilment in the end. Result of the thesis is the proposed database, which a company will use for the creation of system. Everyone, who wants to create its own system for the administration of projects, may be inspired by the proposed database.
