Digital photography post-production and its purpose in commercial sphere

Objective of this thesis is to define Photography Postproduction and present specific techniques of editing commercial photographs. Theoretical part is focused on the clarification of expression Photography Postproduction itself, it's understanding in the past and mainly actual application in distinct areas of commercial field. Practical part of this document elaborates on an implementation of digital composite. In separate steps are described different processes and reasons of their application. In addition, practical abstracts are included in form of photographs and videos, amending to the explanation of the techniques used. This assignment assume that a reader has basic understanding of a employed softwares, specifically Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.
PDF Document Format Features for Document Management and Distribution

The paper PDF Document Format Features for Document Management and Distribution describes the core of the PDF format for support of the portable documents. If you've heard about PDF or even if you use it already but you don't have a clear understanding what PDF means this paper is for you. The paper provides explanation of frequently used terms used in the DTP, prepress processes and print industry. You'll find out what happened before PDF format was introduced, what the original expectations of the format were and who was the visionary and co-founder of Adobe corporation behind the idea. There are the two main technologies -- Postscript and XML described which are core to the PDF format. In the later part of the document you will find description of PDF versions including their advantages followed by a list of standards based on or using PDF format, not only the official ones but also standards widely accepted. The description of competing Microsoft XPS format is also covered in detail. Second part of the document describes a list of useful features to be considered by a document user as well as a document author. You'll learn how to manage a document, how to navigate through a document, what tools and features are available for document review and team collaboration and how to secure a PDF document. You'll also discover that PDF format can be used for creation of electronic forms and it can also contain other components such as layers, 3D objects, multimedia content and attachments. Last but not least the second part of the paper provides overview of the accessibility features for disabled people. Last part of the paper focuses on practical aspects and guides you through PDF document authoring phase, introduces applications for authoring, management and viewing of PDF documents. There is a brief overview provided about production environment and PDF workflow. It also demonstrates on real life examples how to use PDF not only in Internet, in government institutions, in companies but also at home.
Analysis of the GML activities in relation to issues of copyright law

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the activity of the Graphic and Multimedia Laboratory at the University of Economics in Prague, identify outstanding issues and problems and situations in which laboratory work affects the current version of the Copyright Law of the Czech Republic (Consolidated version of Act No. 121/2000 on Copyright and Rights Related to Copyright and on Amendment to Certain Acts (the Copyright Act), as amended by Act No. 81/2005, Act No. 61/2006 and Act No. 216/2006.) and then dismantle these points, which are directly related to the application of copyright law, and propose solutions to problems and to add or modify existing procedures to comply with the law. The text is laboured for the leader who may not be an expert on copyright law and despite that he could understand the issues. This thesis introduces work of the laboratory from its inception to the present situation and focuses mainly on the part of the training (and teaching). Graphics and Multimedia Laboratory produces each year, whether the work of GML employees or implicitly the work of students, hundreds of graphics, audio-visual and other outputs (often bordering on, or directly intervening in the sphere of art), which are subjects of copyright. When creating these outcomes here is a situation affecting the scope of the current version of copyright law. In this work, the most common situations are then selected where it may be a conflict with copyright law. These situations are described as they routinely carry out and then analyzed from the perspective of copyright law. Outstanding issues are clarified and solutions are designed or modified and supplemented by existing solutions. The proposed solution will be given a modified form, or subsequently applied to the smooth operation of the GML.

E-learning - new interactive teaching methods with an emphasis on multimedia The author's main focus is to introduce new concepts, general approaches to current teaching and point out new methods and techniques in the specific area of learning called e-learning. The theoretical part explains the key terms concerning the issues of distance learning using e-learning, and also involves classification and clarification of these key terms that are often being confused by general audience. A small overview of the history helps to characterize the breakthrough technologies of the last century, which have started a new era of scientific disciplines in education. An integral part of e-leaning is multimedia through which is possible to design and use the educational materials directly in teaching. A wide spectrum of multimedia, interactive communication capabilities and the importance of their usage in education, makes e-learning a universally flexible training model which is due to rapid progress in technology more important than ever before. The practical part of the work characterizes a program which is able to create a complete educational material with a possibility of feedback in form of testing and verification of student's knowledge. Furthermore, this program describes the procedure of making video tutorial, which can serve as a medium for the studying itself or as a supplement for live presentations in the classroom. The conclusion highlights the advantages and shortcomings of e-learning and provides the author's contemplation concerning the issues related to the creation of the tutorial and the overall contribution of this thesis.
Visual communication, corporate identity and their influence on management of companies

In my diploma thesis I'm dealing with questions of visual communication and corporate identity in connection with company's management. At first I briefly characterize termins connected with this topic such as communication, visual communication, corporate identity. In the second part of my thesis I made a set of advices and recommendations for management of small companies, which should help them to orient in the problematics of corporate identity and visual style. These recommendations are supported by practical example of graphical manual I made for that.
Software based on the creation of graphics products

The objective of the thesis is to chart the overview and functionality of the software programs needed for the creation of comprehensive graphics work. The thesis should not only delimit individual areas of computer graphics and describe the related software. The main benefit should be the comprehensive definition of the most important operations of the DTP process during the creation of a commercial graphics job. These individual parts of the creative process will serve as the focus for the demonstration of problematic points and errors that the graphic designer can make, and the ways of avoiding them. The last part of the thesis illustrates the utilization of graphics programs for the realization of specific orders.
Visual style of companies web

This bachelor thesis describes the main principles of corporate visual style and evaluates the functionality of selected web programming languages. It is achieved by an elaborated study of five specific corporate web pages. In conclusion, the optimal configuration and programming methods are defined based on the composition of the web pages. The thesis is divided into multiple parts based on the particular components of the visual style, software used for its implementation, programming language and the assessment of the web pages chosen for the purpose of the thesis. First of all, it presents the segments of integrated visual corporate style. Furthermore, it explains the methodology of visual style formation, including the software used. Morover, the thesis depicts the selected programming languages. Last but not least, the visual elements and programming languages of the particular web pages are evaluated by the author, taking into account the knowledge gained in the process of completing the thesis. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate the organization of visual components and assign the most appropriate combination of programming laguages for web presentations of companies.
Internet advertising as a marketing tool

This bachelor thesis deals with online advertising as a marketing tool. The aim of this thesis is a proper understanding of the concept of internet advertising and a summary of unwritten rules and recommendations of internet advertising for firms. A theoretical part deals with the marketing mix as an important element of marketing, continued by explaining the concept of online advertising and its three integral parts. These parts consist of search marketing, text ads, billboards. Each of these parts has got a separate chapter explaining concept's essence. At the end of the theoretical part there are models of paying for advertising discussed as well as tools for a measurability of online advertising. A practical part is broken down into two parts. The first part consists of a selection of companies, which are tested by Google Analytics. Results are shown in the examples and clearly interpreted. The second part consists of an evaluation of marketing research. The results are used together with data from measurement to evaluate the hypotheses. Then there are written rules and recommendations as I have mentioned above.
Internet marketing for small organization

The aim of this work is the analysis of current practices and techniques of Internet marketing. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part presents the current internet marketing tools, the optimal utilization is reflected in the practical part, which is carried out a comprehensive plan for internet marketing strategy with emphasis on SEO for start-up company in the field of accommodation and hospitable service. This is a company Penzion U Lišky, which offers accommodation in Southern Bohemia. The work will serve as a guide for small and medium organizations in the development of marketing projects. The practical part of the evidence considered in developing websites and methods to optimize site for search engines. The next section provides recommendations for use of PPC campaigns and presentation of the company's social networking site Facebook. The analysis methods for increasing traffic through social networking, PR articles, blogging and other tools.
Advanced digital illustration and its purpose in commercial sphere

The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is definiton of Advanced Digital Illustration as a standalone discipline of digitlac graphic arts, separated from vector graphics and photographic retouching/montage. The thesis is made of 3 parts. The first theoretical part contains an introduction do Digital Illustration along with the history of the discipline. Precise borders will be also set to divide ADI from other digital art fields, in which is ADI often subsumed. Next, I will be introducing software and hardware commonly used for PDI. Lastly, an introduction of basic ADI styles, used the most for commerce, will be included. The second part of the thesis is practical. The main chunk is a complete walkthrough of a graphic project with a detailed description for each phase. The completed artwork is an example of graphic comission one can get in the field of ADI. Lastly, alternate tools and practices will be mentioned. The last part of the thesis will take a close look on utilization of ADI for commerce purposes. Specific fields will be defined, in which ADI is commonly used, with examples of existing projects. Expected future development of ADI will be mentioned along with new potentional market fields, in which ADI could find its utilization. Lastly, common problems and obstacles during the process of accepting, completing and selling the graphic project will be described.
