Figural painting in hanging picture

A content of the bachelor thesis is a theoretical reflection about possibilities of a painted depiction of a human figure and a phenomenon of a hanging picture. The theme of the figural painting is further applied to an educationally-therapeutic practice as an art activity subject for people with mental retardation. The work also contains a documentation of the author's own painting and its reflection. Synthesis of selectively disubstituted derivatives of alpha-cyclodextrin for chemosensoric applications

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou vhodné selektivní derivatizace - cyklodextrinu pro jeho následné použití jako stacionárního chemosenzoru s fluorescenční skupinou. Byla vyvinuta a vypracována metodika pro přípravu selektivně disubstituovaného -CD. Dále byla vyvinuta metodika pro přípravu knihovny linkerů s fluoroforem a jejich navázání na CD. Také byly připraveny linkery pro připojení CD na pevnou fázi. Byla vyvinuta metodika pro připojení jednotlivých linkerů na CD za pomoci "click" reakcí, jmenovitě 1,3-dipolární cykloadice a reduktivní aminace. Nebyla připravena cílová série látek.

German conception of artistic education in theory and practice

This diploma thesis seeks above all to introduce the German concept of artistic education into the context of the Czech art education and to compare it with some of the didactical tendencies within this field. Based on the analysis of German and English publications, firstly the pivotal theoretical influences of the concept are introduced, and then its specifics, educational methods and goals are described. The theoretical section is concluded by examples of practical approaches using the described concept in the field of German school praxis. The empirical-practical section, that is based on the author's personal experiences gained during Erasmus studies in Germany (Karlsruhe, University of Education, Institute of Art), introduces how the concept is being applied during the training of university students, in particular on the level of the artistic and pedagogical praxis. This section also contains a reflection of the concept of artistic education's influence on the author's own artistic work. The second section concludes by analysing two student projects in a German school, applying the methods of artistic education, and outlines how these projects could be improved. At the end of the thesis the results of the theoretical, empirical and practical sections are summarized and evaluated. Questions...

The synthesis of thiamacrocycles and the study of their properties

The aim of this work is the study of a simple method of preparing macrocyclic ligands for complexation of fullerenes. Necessary attribute of those ligands is their construction of electron-rich building blocks, which are prerequisite for π-π interactions with electron- deficiency fullerene spherical systems. Tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) is a known electron-rich system and for this reason, 2,3-bis(butylthio)-6,7-bis(2-kyanoethylthio)- tetrathiafulvalene was chosen as a basic building block. The protecting cyanoethyl group in this derivative can be removed by the acting of a base and thus generated thiolate function group is used in alkylation reactions of bis(bromomethyl)aryls. In reactions of these two components of bifunctional alkylation reactions was produced (in addition to the prevalent oligomeric products) a mixture of macrocycles with different sizes, the number of included building units was marked as [2 +2], [3 +3] and [4 +4] macrocycles. Reactions of TTF derivative with 4,4'- bis(bromomethyl)biphenyl and 4,4'-bis(bromomethyl)diphenylether have been performed. Column chromatography fractions of cyclic products were in both cases analyzed by gel permeation chromatography, NMR spectroscopy.
