Alternative work types in the regional administration of the Pardubice region 2015

The bachelor thesis deals with current situation of the exploitation of alternative work types in the regional administration in the Pardubice region. The thesis is divided into two chapters, one of which describes advantages and disadvantages of flexible working hours. The second chapter uses the survey which is focused on frequency of utilizing different a types of flexible work. It analyzes opinions of offices on this issue. Also, the survey searches questionnaire on potential troubles caused by these loads.
Comparative Analysis of Liberal and Mandatory Health Insurance Systems (specifically the USA and Czech Republic)

The thesis aims to critically compare liberal and mandatory health systems, and based on detected advantages and disadvantages of each, propose certain solutions and recommendations to optimize the health care system. During this task it also puts into context historical, legal and ethical backgrounds which strongly influence the system set up. Optimal adjustment of the health care system is an issue that worries most of the world's countries and this thesis, with it's unbiased evaluation, proposes suggestions on potential better functionality and effectiveness of health care. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the major economical terms connected to health care and the typology of healthcare systems. In the following practical part, the US and the Czech healthcare systems are analyzed as the representatives of the liberal and the traditional mandatory health care systems by the international comparison method and the result shows positive experiences from the systems, applicable especially for the Czech Republic.
University studies and employment as a phenomenon of our times from from the student of University of Economic perspective in 2015

The topic of the bachelor s thesis is the actual situation of employment of the University of Economics, Prague, students studying full-time bachelor programme. The first part deals with the financial aspects of study, shows the behavior of students at the labor market, shows the possibilities of their employment and discovers how the reality of the number of working students looks like and also provides the basis for the research part. The research part enquire students by using the questionnaire into their work, how much time they spends in paid work a how much studying and asks about their motivation to participate in the labor market. It has been found that working students study significantly less than nonworking students and only a few students working in their field of study.
The motivation of blood plasma donors between the ages of 18 to 26 in the Czech Republic in 2016

This bachelor thesis deals with the motivation of blood plasma donors between the ages of 18 to 26 in the Czech Republic in 2016. The first part of the work defines and describes the system of blood donation and its components in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the work examines fundamental theoretical concepts concerning blood plasma donation and it also explores private plasmapheresis donation centers. Finally, it inspects the motivation of blood plasma donors. The practical part of the thesis analyses author s empirical research. The collected data showed that the biggest motivation factor is financial compensation, despite the fact that positive feeling about oneself goes hand-in-hand with the financial reward in most of the cases. The rationale behind this practice is student s need to enhance their financial situation as they are yet to have full income.
Social housing - comparison of Concept of Social Housing in the Czech Republic 2015-2025 and Austrian social model

The thesis is focused on social housing - public policy, that is applied in many countries of the EU. Czech Republic is currently trying its implementation. Due to rising household's costs of housing, rising expenses on demand-oriented housing policy in form of housing benefits and difficult to solve social exclusion, social housing appears to be one of the more accessible ways of solution. The goal of the thesis is at first to analyze and evaluate known forms of social housing and its application from the economic perspective, then to form reccomendations for the Conception of Social Housing for the Czech Republic in the period 2015-2025 using comparison to already-existing Austrian model. This text answers the main research question how does functioning model of social housing look like and what are the economic impacts of it on households.
The current situation of deaf people in the labour market in the Czech Rebublic

This thesis focuses on the current situation of deaf people in the labour market in the Czech Republic. It emphasizes on differentiation of individual hearing impairment which is very important to explore the issue. The work examines the offer of education for deaf and deals with obstacles in the transition from school to working life, which is closely related to future labour market outcomes. It also focuses on organizations that help deaf people to overcome these barriers. It defines employment policy tools for help to the deaf and employers. The practical part consists of a research analyzing the application of the deaf in the labour market. To improve the employability of the deaf, work recommends the education of employers on the labour market, who operates in the sectors where the deaf usually work. Another recommendation is a greater cooperation between employers and organizations which can help to employers and deaf people to overcome barriers to employment such as a communication barrier. Recommendations are based on the results of the research that have been conducted with employers who operate in industries where deaf people usually apply, with deaf and with a staff of the organizations that deal with employability deaf.
Economic and other factors determining the use of club memberships in fitness centers in the Czech Republic in 2015

The bachelor thesis is primarily focused on the fitness industry section of the Czech Republic, which belongs to the most dynamic and potential, but also very much neglected sections of the national economy. This work clearly shows the underdeveloped, or rather obsolete managing system of Czech fitness centres based on single entries which considerably determines the current chaotic, poorly mapped and unsystematic fitness industry in the country. The theoretical part of the work presents some possible management techniques of fitness centres based on the club memberships that would be applicable to the current conditions of the Czech market. At the same time it reflects the main economic as well as other factors, which are conditioned by the fitness centre visitors in order to purchase a club membership, respectively, their owners and operators to the acceptance and introduction of club membership in a particular fitness centre. The practical part verifies to which extent the proposed procedures and criteria correlate with the current conditions and the mentality of visitors of the Czech fitness centres and also their owners and operators. The result of this work is to make a real model of gradual introduction of fitness club memberships applicable in current Czech conditions that create a good background for a consequent co-operation with the other sectors of the national economy of the Czech Republic or the international associations related to the fitness industry worldwide.
The receivables overdue of state: One of the biggest issues of fiscal policy in the Czech Republic from 2000 to 2014

The aim of the thesis is the analysis of the volume of state receivables overdue arising mainly from the underpayment of taxes, duties, social insurance during the time period from 2000 to 2014. The aim is also an analysis of the recovery of overdue receivables in the Czech Republic that should lead to identification of causes of bad developments in the period. The topic is important and actual because of the fact that the overdue claims are one of the biggest challenges of fiscal policy in the Czech Republic over the past 15 years. Benefit from examining this issue should be to identify the causes of negative developments in the period. The theoretical part describes the theory of economic policy with special reference to one of their major segments, fiscal policy, which is the essence of tackle. Then it analyzes the theory of government failure, the theory of moral hazard, etc. The main content of the practical part is to analyze the volumes of different types of overdue receivables in the period, an analysis of the recovery of overdue receivables in the Czech Republic, the identification and characterization of the causes of negative developments and, last but not least, the draft national economic measures aimed at eliminating these causes.
The analysis of youth unemployment in Spain between 2007 and 2015

This diploma paper is dealing with causes, development and solutions of high unemployment rate among young people in Spain, which belongs to the highest in Europe. Spanish labour market is put in context with macroeconomic data which are compared with European Union. Main purpose is to find out causes of high unemployment rate of young people, who are a threatened group on the labour market and thus experienced the biggest impact of economic depression. Based on the undertaken analysis, one of the main causes, beside the economic depression, is also rigid labour legislation which leads to dual labour market. Other significant factors are also education and immigration. Structural reforms conducted on the labour market in the years 2010 and 2012 are valuated, despite certain fractional less successful measures, as positive.
Development of the Czech pension system after 1989 and its future direction

The purpose of this thesis is an analysis of the development of the pension system in the Czech Republic since 1989. The emphasis is placed on reform provisions and on their impact on public budgets. Future direction is discussed next. The demographic development raises concerns about the financial sustainability of pension systems. The changes in the structure of the system were made after several years of discussions and a number of parametric adjustments. The question of sustainability is not closed yet. Recent changes are canceled and the system returned to the previous state. The reason was a lack of political and general agreement about this type of reform. The theoretical part deals with the definition of public budgets with a focus on social security. The importance and the function of pension systems are characterized in the next section. Pension systems are classified by the operator, by the method of calculating pension benefits and by the type of funding. Each pension system is based on tradition and is influenced by the development of society in the political, economic and social fields. In the practical part is performed the analysis of the pension system structured according to the periods. The impact of the reform provisions is illustrated on the state of public budgets. The thesis concludes that the initial efforts to change the system fundamentally will be replaced by attempts to implement minor adjustments. In the case of structural reform in the future it could be considered the application of modern pension theory, which recommends Pan-European pension system.
