Directional antenna for 60 GHz frequency band
Kratochvíl, Jakub ; Pítra, Kamil (referee) ; Láčík, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to study the possibilities and problems of low-profile antennas and subsequently to design a directional antenna with spherical reflector for millimeter wavelengths. The theoretical part deals with basic information about horn and reflector antennas, and about SIW technology. In addition, the thesis deals with the specific design and modeling of the antenna using CST Microwave Studio. The simulated design achieved a sufficient bandwidth to cover ISM (57 GHz to 64 GHz) with gain 13.6 dBi at 60 GHz frequency. On fabricated antenna, the antenna impedance ratios were worse and the target bandwidth was not reached. Antenna gain was 14.33 dBi at 60 GHz frequency.
Retirement home
Kratochvíl, Jakub ; Spáčilová, Jitka (referee) ; Spáčil, Miroslav (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is a project documentation of a Retirement home located in Prague in Novodvorská street. The building is designed as a stand-alone building with five floors of a rectangular ground plan with a receding fifth storey. The retirement home is divided into a public section - a pharmacy and a part for clients - accommodation, leisure time including facilities - a restaurant with a kitchen, a laundry room. The construction system is designed as a reinforced concrete monolitic skeleton with rectanguplar columns and the filling structures are made of ceramic blocks. The building is based on reinforced concrete footings. A waterproof concrete is proposed for the lift shaft, and the foundation sills are designed for the perimeter masonry. Roofing of the 4th and 5th floor is a warm flat roof. In the 4th floor roofing section, the roof is made as a concrete tiles paving. The main entrance to the building is from southwest and the access to the building is from the northwest side where there is a parking lot for employees and clients.
Landscape Management of River Basin Skalice
Reiniš, Daniel ; Syrovátka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Kratochvíl, Jakub (referee)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze and evaluate the state of the landscape in the model part of the Skalice river basin and to determine the possible negative effects of intensive agriculture on the selected village of Smetana Lhota. Inappropriate melioration and high losses soil and nutrients from the fields were found in the model area. The research, which took place in the village of Smetanova Lhota, confirmed that intensive agriculture actually affects the inhabitants of the village. The findings are used to recommend how to approach to the revitalization of the landscape in the model territory based on the Complex landscaping. Approaches to revitalization the landscape can be used in similar forms on whole basin of the Skalice river. The landscape revitalization should reduce the eutrophication of the Orlík dam and restore its original character.
The evaluation of training units by basketball's players in the categories U12 and U14
Kratochvíl, Jakub ; Velenský, Michael (advisor) ; Kaprálek, Tomáš (referee)
Title: The evalation of training units by basketball's players in the categories U12 and U14. Objectives: Create a training units in the basketball for players category U12 and U14. These training units are always focused on training, physical condition training, game training and combinaton of the previous parts. We have to implement these trainings, create questionnaries for the players and get the training evaluation from them. Methods: There was used a professional literature for creating the training unit in this work. The literature is from the field of sport training, didactics of sport games and basketball literature. We use quantitative type of research. We analyse the ratings obtained from the training units for categories U12 and U14. Results: The results show that the most popular training units are those, which aimed at the training game. But the least popular are training units focused on practice for category U12 and physical condition training for U14. Keywords: basketball, training unit, practice, gaming training physical condition training, gaming exercises, results
Molecular modeling study of potential acetylcholinesterase inhibitors .
Kratochvíl, Jakub ; Holas, Ondřej (advisor) ; Marek, Jan (referee)
Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradci Králové Department of: Pharmaceutical chemistry and drug control Consultant: PharmDr. Ondřej Holas, Ph.D. Student: Jakub Kratochvíl Title of Thesis: Molecular modeling study of potential acetylcholinesterase inhibitors. This diploma thesis deals with an utilization of molecular docking to confirm the ability to inhibit acetylcholinesterase and butyrylcholinesterase in several substances. Well known AChE inhibitors (donepezil, tacrine, galanthamine, huperzine A) were chosen as ligands binding to active site of the enzyme. Their activity was confirmed. Other substances with certain inhibition potential were studied and in most cases the potential was proven. Structures of cholinesterases from human body and Torpedo californica were used for studies. The experimental part was carried out on a computer using a molecular modeling software: MGL Tools, PyMOL, Chimera and Autodock Vina.
Porovnání cen obvyklých a zjištěných u vybraných typů nemovitostí
KRATOCHVÍL, Jakub
There are two main parts in this thesis. In the first part is summarized an overview of basic concepts and requisites we can meet with valuation on real estate market, if we use the valid applicable law and decree about valuation. The emphasis was put on the specifics of the market value and detected value and their comparison. The aim of the second part was make a local investigation in selected real estates in locations Pacov and Lukavec. Then I did careful valuation according to the methodology for determine the market value and detected value and then compared results.
Dimension Reduction Techniques in Morhpometrics
Kratochvíl, Jakub ; Pelikán, Josef (advisor) ; Mráz, František (referee)
This thesis centers around dimensionality reduction and its usage on landmark-type data which are often used in anthropology and morphometrics. In particular we focus on non-linear dimensionality reduction methods - locally linear embedding and multidimensional scaling. We introduce a new approach to dimensionality reduction called multipass dimensionality reduction and show that improves the quality of classification as well as requiring less dimensions for successful classification than the traditional singlepass methods.
Diving in region Vysočina
Kratochvíl, Jakub ; Vondrášek, David (advisor) ; Bažant, Filip (referee)
Title: Diving in region Vysočina Objectives: objective of this bachelor work is gathering data about locations in region Vysočina convenient fot diving and push them for analyze. Methods: background research, field survey, interview, descriptive analysis, observation. Findings: description of locations. Keywords: Diving, diving location, Vysočina
Graph Visualisation
Kratochvíl, Jakub ; Bálek, Martin (referee) ; Pergel, Martin (advisor)
This thesis concentrates on drawing graphs in 3D. In the first part of the text, we concentrate on orthogonal layouts of graphs with maximum degree 6. We show how to draw graphs using high dimensional embedding (HDE) and propose a new fast algorithm based upon sampling of the HDE. Further, we developed an application for Win32 that allows the user to translate, zoom and rotate the graph drawing, thus taking full advantage of the 3D layout.
