Depiction of Bullfighting in Spanish Phraselogy and Idiomatics

5 Abstract The topic of this bachelor thesis is Spanish phrasemes and idioms originating in the tradition of bullfighting. Theoretical part is divided in two sections. First one contains definitions of basic terms in Czech and Spanish phraseology and idiomatic. The second half serves as an introduction to the world of Spanish bullfighting: brief history of the tradition is presented in the context of Spanish history as well as its basic terminology, participants, and the course of the modern corrida de toros. The practical part focuses on a list of phraseological units originating from or connected to the realm of Spanish bullfighting, and on their Czech equivalents. Etymology of selected units is explained. Most common units from the list are analysed by their use in different contexts and countries. Günter Grass - Politic of iterature

The thesis deals with prose Peeling the onion written by a German author Günter Grass and with responses to this novel. Controversial moments of Grass's life which were never reported before are revealed in this commemorative literary work. It has evoked very contradictory reactions worldwide. The object of the thesis is to monitor the work in a broader social context and to reveal its controversy through the public reactions. Attention is also given to the literary analysis of the commemorative book. The aim of the thesis is to provide a very comprehensive view on this novel of Günther Grass, a political writer.

Didactic work about the stories of Jim Knopf from Michael Ende with focus on literary and language eduation

Thesis Didactic work about the stories of Jim Button from Michael Ende with focus on literary and language education investigates the feasible utilization of a literary work within teaching a foreign language. Thesis is composed of both theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, attention is given to the importance of texts, especially literary texts, as means for teaching foreign language. In respect to the utilization of the literature within foreign language teaching, the thesis highlights the development of target competencies, improvement of language skills and the overall growth of student's personality. Literature is shown as a sphere competent to enrich the common language teaching with a literary experience and an intercultural aspect. Further, the thesis introduces Jim Button novels written by Michael Ende and their specifics from the point of view of their usage by teaching foreign languages. Last but not least, suggestions for work with the novel about Jim Button and Luke the Engine Driver are provided as an alternative teaching material for tuition of German language as a foreign language

Ligands for Multifunctional Dinuclear Complexes

Title: Ligands for Multifunctional Dinuclear Complexes Author: Marie Králová Site: Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Science Supervisor: doc. RNDr. Pavel Vojtíšek, CSc. Abstract The aim of this work was to prepare substitued phenols as ligands for binuclear complexes of copper(II), which could be used as anion receptors. Two main sythethic strategies are summarised in the introduction: First is single step Mannich-type reaction of 4-substitued phenol, paraformaldehyde and secondary amine, other includes preparation of substitued bis(halomethy)phenol and it's following reaction with secondary anime. A single step Mannich-type reaction was used for preparations of following known ligands: 2,6-bis[(N-methyl piperazine-1-yl)methyl]-4-formyl phenol (L1), 2,6-bis[(N- methyl piperazine-1-yl)methyl]-4-nitro phenol (L3) and 2,6-bis[(N-phenyl piperazine-1- yl)methyl]-4-nitro phenol (L4). The new ligand, 2,6-bis[(N-phenyl piperazine-1-yl)methyl]- 4-formyl phenol (L2), was prepared in the same way. A structure of this ligand was determined using X-ray. One Pd(II) complex [PdL2Cl2]·1.5MeCN (K3) was prepared and it's structure was determined. Zhodnocení chovu prasat na rodinné farmě se zaměřením na reprodukční vlastnosti prasnic

In this diploma thesis I focused on evaluation of reproductive characteristics on a selected family farm. In the first part, I conducted a literature study on a given topic, where I described fertility and milkiness of sows, the birth process and the fertility of boars. Further, I described different breeds that were used in an experiment. The final part of literature study focused on the general economic review of pig production in the Czech Republic and in the European Union. In the practical part of my thesis, I observed reproductive characteristics of sows raised on a family farm in Stavěšice. The practical research monitored the whole number of piglets born, the number of piglets born alive and the number of piglets weaned. Further, the weight and the gender of piglets was monitored as well as the preweaning losses of piglets, the gestation length, the average daily weight gain and the boar influence on the gender and the weight of piglets. The concluding part of the thesis consists of the economic analysis of pig production in general and the economic analysis of the farm in Stavěšice.

The thesis deals with the novel Peeling the onion written by a German author Günter Grass and with responses to this novel. Controversial moments of Grass's life which were never reported before are revealed in this autobiographical literary work. It has evoked very contradictory reactions worldwide. The object of the thesis is to compare the events of approximately twenty years of Grass's life from both the past and current perspective and also to monitor the impact of the life stories on the creation of this author. Great attention is paid to the acceptance of the work by the public and by critics.

This thesis deals with reproduction, production characteristics and individual factors that affect the functional physiognomies of pigs. The first section describes the reproductive characteristics of sows and boars. Furthermore, the production and properties of the internal and external factors. Among the internal factors that include or comprises: hereditary characteristics, breed, hormonal activity, and gender, etc. External factors as: temperature, housing, nutrition, technology and feeding technology. The next section describes the family farm in Stavěšice dealing with the pigs. It is technology and technique of breeding, feeding, economic evaluation and profitability. In conclusion, the described economy pig in current conventional breeding.

Value added tax in accounting

This diploma work focuses on the context of value added tax and accounting. The first part is devoted to the description of the sales tax and its difference from the value added tax. The sales tax was replaced with value added tax by the European Union so it is under the harmonization process control, which is briefly mentioned in the work. Furthermore diploma work contains general principles on which value added tax works, and describes the development of the reverse charge procedure, which is used for domestic transactions. Attention is also paid to the issues of tax evasion and fight against them. The last part focuses on the relationship between value added tax and accounting. Difference between tax and accounting documents, diagrams showing the charging of value added tax and the relationship between the revenues and the date of the chargeable event are mentioned.

The thesis is divided into four main parts -- introduction, theoretical part, practical part and conclusion. The main task of the introduction is to introduce the issue of the thesis to the reader. Key questions determining the frame of the thesis are presented in the introduction part. The theoretical part describes the theory of a business plan. In this part we can find a theoretical description of the company profile as well as external and internal analysis which determines the company strategy and describes the financial plan. The practical part follows the theoretical part which means that it applies the theoretical knowledge on to praxis. In the conclusion the author makes comments on the key questions determining the contents of the plan, summarizes other knowledge and outcome resulting from the work and finally decides if it is possible to realize the business plan.
