Collecting drug experiences of pupil as a basis for pedagogical intervention

This thesis discusses the drug experience of upper primary school students in Odolena Voda. The aim is to provide the school with the observation and with the acquired results that will hopefully be applied in the drug prevention at the elementary school. The theoretical part summarizes the current researches and their observations that deal with this problematic. The attention is paid to the suggested prevention that might be applied not only at elementary school, but also in cities and within families. The empirical part is consisted of a case study of "Addictive Drugs Among Pupils Abuses in the City Odolena Voda." Its aim is to survey experience with alcohol, nicotine and illicit substances among pupils of primary school in Odolena Voda and also draw prevention recommendations. The case study is based on the research, I conducted, where the results are based on questionnaire, the analysis of school documents and the interviews. The survey, based on the questionnaire, revealed that experience with smoking cigarettes have 48 % of pupils, experience with alcohol 55 % and with illicit substance 7,1 % of pupils. The youngest with the drug experience were between the age 10 - 13. The most widely consumed alcohol drug is beer and the most widely consumed non - alcohol drugs are cigarettes and...

THE ANALYSIS OF DRUG EXPERIENCE OF SECOND GRADE PUPILS FROM THE SELECTED ELEMETARY SCHOOLS Kováříková Monika Abstract This thesis is specifically concerned with pupils' drug use experiences, namely with alcohol, nicotine and illegal addictive substances. The theoretical and practical part focuses on older pupils (from 11 to 15 years of age) attending primary schools. The aim here is to investigate drug addiction among pupils of the 2nd grade of elementary school and its prevention. The research analyses the pupils more closely on particular cases at Vodičkova Elementary School and at the Primary School of Vítězslav Hálek Odolena Voda. The theoretical part looks into drug prevention efforts in general in the family, at school and in the city. Further, it characterises the age of adolescence and presents selected studies focused on the drug problems of adolescents. The empirical part consists of a qualitative research survey conducted as a multi-case study and supplemented by a quantitative probe. The methodology consists of interviews with the pupils, interview with the preventers, analysis of school documents and questionnaire survey. It consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines terms such as school maturity and school readiness, its prerequisites and subsequent diagnostics. The objective of the practical part is to provide an introduction to the use of a casuistic method with children, whose school attendance was deferred. It also investigates the origin of a postponed school attendance, its consequences and following child development at nursery school. The Swedish economy in a period of boom and crisis at the beginning of the 3rd millennium

The thesis provides an analysis of Swedish economic development since the accession to the EU till present with emphasis on a period of boom and crisis at the beginning of the 3rd millennium. Basic macroeconomic indicators, such as GDP growth, inflation rate, public balance, general government debt, unemployment rate, foreign direct investment, current account of balance of payments are used to describe the economic development of Sweden. The first chapter focuses on the Swedish economy from the accession to the EU till the turn of the millennium. The second chapter deals with the Swedish economic development during the years 2000-2006. The third chapter describes the economic development of Sweden during the global economic crisis in 2007-2009 including selected issues related to the crisis.
