Control of asynchronous motor by PowerFlex drive
Kovář, Pavel ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The Thesis deals with the basic principles of function of Asynchronous motor. It also describes Frequency invertor PowerFlex 700 and PLC ControlLogix from the company Allen Bradley, and marginally industrial network ETherNet/IP. The main part of this project is control of asynchronous motor in aid of frequency invertor. As an example of this control in this Thesis is used control of production line for drilling holes into the metal beams. Unfortunately, its activity is only simulating, because of this production line does not exist physically. The main problem of control of this production line is undoubtedly the control of asynchronous motor on correct location. The task of production line was designed with regard to using as a laboratory task for teaching. The last part of this Thesis deals with the animated visualization of this production line in the program FactoryTalk View Studio, which is possible to record to display terminal, which is designated for visualization in industry.
The municipality as an actor in environmental protection from a law perspective
Kovář, Pavel ; Fabšíková, Tereza (advisor) ; Sobotka, Michal (referee)
The municipality as an actor in environmental protection from a law perspective Abstract Municipalities in the Czech Republic are entrusted with a number of very important and irreplaceable roles in protecting the environment, both within their independent competence and in activities carried out under delegated competence. In the first half of the text, the author defines the basic concepts in the form of the term municipality and the term environment. At the same time, in the first part of the thesis, the author analyses the constitutional-legal basis of local self-government units, more precisely municipalities, their characteristic features and the differences between the independent and delegated competence of municipalities. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the already mentioned definition of the environment, environmental law as a distinct and dynamically developing branch of public law, and legal instruments serving to protect the environment, including their division and examples. In the third part of the thesis, the author focuses on the individual activities carried out by municipalities under delegated competence in the field of air, water, soil, forest, nature and landscape protection or waste management. The fourth part of the thesis contains a list of activities carried out by...

Následuje jádro disertace --- představení vyvinutého systému a detailní popis použitých metod, principů, hardwaru i způsob zpracování naměřených dat.
Comparison of selected traits at conspecific plants in disturbed and stressed environments localized within industrial waste deposits and their surroundings in landscape
Glier, Adam ; Kovář, Pavel (advisor) ; Štefánek, Michal (referee)
This study is oriented on the assessment of selected traits at conspecific plant which spontaneously colonize interior space within abandoned industrial area and/or deposits, and those ones occurred in adjacent vicinity. The work continues in previous studies concentrated on abandoned mine tailing containments where some important outputs consist of differences in plant adaptive strategies, growth rate, phenology, body size, ways of dispersal, ecophysiological or genetic parameters (Bryndová et Kovář 2004, Mrázek 2004, Zákravský et al. 2004, Jarolímová 2004, Kovář et al. 2004, Jiráčková et Dostál 2004, Kovář et Herben 2004, Dostál et Kovář 2013, Štefánek 2015, Urbanová et al. 2017). A part of the study includes the significance of small and large genomes at both types of habitats within defined phylogenetic framework. In other words - testing of the hypothesis: There is functional significance of small versus large genomes of plant species by comparing their occurrence in unreclaimed toxic deposits (landscape islands) with their populations from neighbouring habitats (large scale level). Key words unreclaimed industrial deposits in landscape, abandoned mine tailings, genome size, flow cytometry, conspecific taxons, plant traits, colonization, succession, disturbance, stress, restoration ecology,...
Ants and primary vegetation succession on abandoned industrial-waste deposits
Vojtíšek, Pavel ; Kovář, Pavel (advisor) ; Holec, Michal (referee)
Abandoned industrial-waste deposits (incl. fly ash or tailings ponds) represent very specific and mostly extreme habitat conditions. They offer unique opportunity to study primary succession in cultural landscape. Substrate of the material deposited here shows extreme properties, such as low pH, overheating of the open surface, salinization etc. The aim of this work is to map the colonization of different successional stages of vegetation by ants after years of abandonment of ore-waste deposits in Chvaletice (Eastern Bohemia, CR) and to compare the present state with analogous study made in 2001. Particular aims of both studies (Jarešová 2001, and present study, 2011-12) is to test the influence of ants on vegetation succession. During the years 2011-2012 several prospections were made to record species diversity of ants. On the surface plateau of the sedimentation basin two types of habitats were chosen - the areas with present ant nests and the other areas without them. Each of both types of habitats exhibits different plant species richness: separately the species-area curves were constructed and explained. Three dominant ant species of different size categories present on sedimentation basin were selected for experimental offering of plant seeds, Formica pratensis, Lasius niger, Tetramorium...
