The Study of the Contract Award in Production Company

The thesis deals with the flow of the engagement through the company DIEFFENBACHER - CZ, hydraulické lisy, s. r. o., which produces machines and machine components for woodprocessing industry and hydraulic presses. Flow of a specific engagement is analyzed and deficencies are identified with the use of theoretical background. Subsequently, proposals of elimination of these deficiencies while rendering the whole process more effective are stated.

The bachelor thesis deals with material flow, fluency of production and waste during the manufacturing process in the chosen company. Firstly, the theoretical background of the thesis is provided. Next part is devoted to the detailed analysis of current state, which is focused on manufacturing process of a chosen welded composition. Chosen composition serves as a representative sample for this type of compositions. At the end, the thesis suggests solutions for leaning of material flow, increasing fluency of production and eliminating waste in the manufacturing process.

In this thesis there are suggestions for improvement which can in result bring to company improvements of effectivity and ability of using Information system. In theoretical part there is theory which concern of information systems and individual analytical tools, that were used. Practical part focus on suggestion for improvement outgoing from results of analyses.

Implementation of virtualization technology and replication of physical server for medium size company

The purpose of master’s thesis is to project virtualization solution together with replication of the servers. Thesis is divided into the three parts and that it theoretical, analytical and projection part. In analytical part there are basic information about virtualization technologies, in analytical part there is analysis of the present status of the company and mainly about status of the IT infrastructure and in the end projection part there is realization of the virtualization solution from choosing the right type of cluster to choosing hardware solution.
