Logistics in Unilever

This bachelor this discusses the logistics at Unilever. A considerable attention is paid to logistics as a part of the strategic decision making of the company. To evaluate the effectiveness of logistics integration to the strategy of the company, the theoretical concepts from both areas are explained and combined. Subsequently they are applied to the company. Part of the work is an analysis of the decision to centralize European logistics processes to Hub Katowice.
Management Information System in a Microenterprise

The purpose of this diploma thesis was to build a management information system for a given microenterprise and to implement it successfully. This thesis aims to assess the risks, costs and benefits of the information system and to provide recommendations for analogous projects of the information system implementation in the future. The thesis is divided into two parts, theory and case study. The former summarises the most important fact on management information systems in general, the latter introduces the given microenterprise and pursues the process from building of the system to its implementation in the enterprise. Microsoft Access, database management system, proved to be a good solution for building an information system for the enterprise. The thesis delivers the following results: the information system itself, costs and benefits evaluation and the set of recommendations for similar projects. The main contribution of this thesis consists in the focus on microenterprises and in the real example pursued in the second part of the thesis.
Instagram as a Marketing Tool

This bachelor thesis deals with the use of Instagram for marketing purposes. The theoretical part includes basic information about Internet, on-line marketing and social media, but it is mainly focused on Instagram, its principles, on the companies which are using this media and also on successful campaigns on Instagram. The practical part deals with activities of company Birell on Instagram and evaluates their marketing campaign led on this social media.
Companies' web presentations at the example of DEVIDENT s.r.o.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to show how companies should act when creating their web presentations or improving existing websites at the example of DEVIDENT s.r.o. The first chapter is dedicated to explaining the concept of internet marketing and its advantages and disadvantages. The second chapter analyzes the process of creating a web presentation and key principles of a successful website. The third and the forth chapters are practical and deal with the analysis of the old web presentation of DEVIDENT s.r.o., recommendations for improving particular parts of its website and evaluation of its new web pages. The thesis contains a common recommendation for all the companies that want to create a website or improve their web presentation.
New trends in the marketing communication with a focus on social networks

This bachelor thesis provides an insight into the issue of current trends in the marketing communication with a special emphasis on trends in social networks. The aim of this thesis is to draw up a model of the optimal marketing communication including a series of managerial recommendations to similar businesses based on the analysis of marketing communication of Café Placzek. This thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter defines basic marketing concepts. In the second chapter, the reader is acquainted with selected trends in the field of marketing communication. The third part, which draws from the theoretical basis set in previous chapters, comprises the analysis of the current state of marketing communication of Café Placzek as well as own field research. The last chapter, which also presents the aim of this thesis, offers a description of the model of optimal marketing communication in the service sector and a list of managerial recommendations to businesses in the mentioned sector.
Analysis of marketing promotion of e-shops from a defined industry

The bachelor thesis focuses on marketing promotion done by e-shops on social networks. These e-shops are all operating in one industry - dog food and are based in the Czech Republic. There are two parts of this thesis. In the first, theoretical one marketing strategies and marketing mix, especially communication and promotion and its tools are defined. In this part of the thesis the most important social networks are listed and described. Towards the end of this part, new trends in marketing are also discussed. The second, practical part consists of an analysis of marketing promotion on social networks carried out by twenty particular e-shops from the dog food industry. Based on this analysis, the last part of the thesis provides recommendations of how to successfully promote business on social networks for e-shops in the given industry.
The Proposition of an Incentive System as an Instrument for Efficiency Improvement of the Development Process and the Process of Implementation of the New Enterprise System VRPIS

This thesis aims to improve the efficiency of the development process and the process of implementation of the newly established enterprise information system VRPIS by designing and creating an incentive system. The proposition and creation of the incentive system is based on the experiences gained during the pilot application of VRPIS system into the company Confal, a.s. The theoretical part focuses on enterprise information systems, their implementation into corporate environment, possible problems that might occur during this process, as well as incentive systems. The practical part follows the theoretical knowledge and focuses on the creation of the new incentive system and motivational tools, which are designed particularly for participants of the VRPIS implementation process. The incentive system 3L is based on the results received from the measurement of participants´ level of motivation during the three stages of implementation process. Moreover, it shares the philosophy of VRPIS system, which intends to conform to the conditions and needs of its customers. Furthermore, 3L incentive system will be generalized for the needs of the other applications.

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to describe marketing plan in the theoretical part. This section describes parts of a marketing plan as marketing strategy, SWOT analysis and communication strategy. Further I will describe ERP systems - history of their development, description and their use in companies. In the practical part of my bachelor thesis I will create marketing strategy for the company Altus Software s.r.o. and describe their product Altus Vario with which I have worked for several years in my previous job. I will suggest suitable marketing strategy for this company, I will mention ERP systems knowledge survey which I created and evaluation of situational analysis.
Cloud technology in an environment of banks

Bachelor's thesis deals with public cloud technologies in the banks, especially the risks associated with the use of public cloud in banking institutions. The first part is in detail analyzing the concept of cloud computing and explaining the key characteristics of this technology. The next chapter defines the concept of a bank and there is a listing of the most important regulatory requirements in relation to outsourcing, by extension cloud computing. In the last two chapters are the threats arising from the use of public cloud services correlated with regulatory and legal requirements that banks must comply. Then there is the table of risks that every financial institution should consider when they intend to use public cloud technologies.

The third part describes the strategy for their deployment and the last chapter is dedicated to actual process of their implementation in Komerční banka, a.s.
