Education of children with different mother tongue in the conditions of the selected kindergarten

This bachelor's thesis is dedicated to the development of language competencies for a group of children with a different mother tongue in a regular kindergarten. The theoretical part deals with terminological concepts and the specification of problems related to this issue based on professional publications. The empirical section is built on case studies of selected respondents. The main aim of the thesis was to measure information about participants' communication skills, gauge their progress, describe the educational process, and evaluate its efficiency. The research conducted in this specific kindergarten included three children with different first languages and contained two diagnostic tests with a three-month interval between them. The first study revealed a lack of language competency. The second study discovered that the respondents' communication skills improved. The comparison demonstrated the benefit of individual development for selected participants in all areas of communication competencies. The purpose of the study was to summarize language intervention and the possible needs of children in kindergarten, so they can effortlessly integrate into elementary schools. School maturity and postponement of school attendance and speech disorders

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of school maturity, the communication level of preschool children and the postponement of school attendance from the point of view of speech therapy and school counseling facilities. The theoretical part contains three chapters devoted to topics necessary for defining the qualification work. The content of the first chapter is an introduction to the theoretical framework of communication and child development from birth to preschool age with a primary focus on speech development. The second chapter defines impaired communication ability from the general basis to the specifics of communication of children in preschool and younger school age. The third chapter analyzes the support of preschool children's communication skills, the area of school readiness with the examination of school maturity in a pedagogical-psychological counseling center and postponement of school attendance. In the practical part, the methodology of qualitative research and the research investigation itself are presented. The diploma thesis is devoted to individuals with dyslexia in adolescent and adult age, their perspective on their life with a specific reading disorder. Specifically, it maps the manifestations of dyslexia in the context of personal and working life. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the terminology related to specific learning disorders, the etiology and also the diagnosis of learning disorders. In the next part, the thesis deals with a specific area of specific learning disorders, namely dyslexia - a specific reading disorder. A large space in this thesis is devoted to dyslexia in individuals in adolescent and adult age. Furthermore, the employment of persons with dyslexia and also the personality traits that appear in individuals with a specific reading disorder. Considerable space in the theoretical part of this diploma thesis is devoted to a group of individuals with a double exception, thus persons with dyslexia, who also simultaneously show a certain talent in areas where difficulties related to dyslexia are not manifested. The thesis deals with the definition of intervention provided to pupils with specific learning disabilities in primary school. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the most frequent specific learning disabilities, the characteristics of the younger school age and intervention approaches in primary schools for pupils with specific learning disabilities. The last chapter of the thesis is also the research part, focusing on gathering information regarding intervention for pupils with specific learning needs, their progress within the educational process and information sharing among teachers in the selected primary school. Communication disorders in relation to school maturity and the child's preparation for first grade

The thesis deals with the topic of communication disorders in relation to school maturity and the child's preparation for first grade. The theoretical part is devoted to the theoretical definition of the issue of school maturity and readiness, with an emphasis on communication skills and the impact of impaired communication skills on first grade education. It also focuses on the possibilities of developing a child's communication skills before entering first grade. One of the chapters focuses on Elkonin's stimulating language skills training program. The practical part of the thesis is conducted by qualitative method of investigation through semi-structured interviews with a clinical speech therapist, a special educator - speech therapist and a speech therapy assistant. Possibilities of the development of reading preliteracy for children in the speech therapy class of the kindergarten

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of the possibilities of developing reading literacy for children in a speech therapy class of kindergarten. The aim of the thesis is the analysis and implementation of the possibilities of developing reading preliteracy as well as the analysis of selected book titles that can have a positive influence on the development of preliteracy for children in kindergarten. In the theoretical part are defined terminological concepts related to reading literacy, its strategies and possibilities of development on the basis of the literature. It also defines current Framework Education Programm for Preschool Education. It also introduces the critical thinking programme and the three-phase learning model E-U-R. In the empirical part, are presented case studies of five selected participants of the research investigation who are children with impaired communication skills attending a speech therapy class of a kindergarten in Třinec. Development of hearing perception in preschool children with specific language impairment from their parents perspective

1 ABSTRACT The bachelor's thesis focuses on the issues of development of auditory (hearing) perception in preschool children with specific language impairment from the perspective of their parents. It is a special educational topic in the field of speech and language therapy. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis introduces the issues of specific language impairment, auditory perception and its development. It contains knowledge of terminology, etiology, symptomatology, diagnostics and therapy of specific language impairment. It also focuses on the course of intact development of auditory perception and the consequences of its disturbance. It describes different parts of auditory perception and the possibilities of their development. The main aim of the research is to obtain information about the knowledge of parents of preschool children with specific language impairment about auditory perception, that is whether the parents' information about this issue is sufficient.
