Identification and assessment of errors in the production line and their prevention
Šurýn, Martin ; Lachnit, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on description and application of the FMEA method at the manufacturing company. The thesis is based on important steps such as introducing a knowledge database of all possible functions, failures, and countermeasures to minimize risks of a failure occurrence (detection, prevention), a failure assessment by Pareto analysis, and verification of the introduced template by a real project.
Identification and assessment of errors in the switchboards assembly line and their prevention
Smejkal, Marek ; Tabas, Marek (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
Project developed within the Master's degree study proposes the study focused to identify and assessment of errors on the modules switchboards assembly line, because manufacturing companies are under heavy pressure to reduce production costs. The solution is optimization the productions processes and increasing their productivity.
Safety of automated industrial valves in operating conditions
Kryštof, Ondřej ; Trávníček, Petr (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
Choosing suitable and safe valve with accessories depends on general specifications for plant. Using valve for on/off, throttling, back-flow prevention, etc., pressure drop is related with Kv value or leakages from piping systems are main factors for properly valve selection. Valve have to resist chemicals and substances that may change the state, temperature and its fluctuation, pressure, corrosion and erosion. This properties determine pressure class, temperature resistance, connection into pipe and sealing material as gland packing, seats, seal between flange etc. This and other specification, listed in this thesis, can help determine suitable type of valve. This thesis deals construction design of valve and accessories as well. The last chapters are focused on calculation of safety valve and selection safe and appropriate control valve with accessories.
Evaluation of the local muscular load on the production line
Slámová, Nikola ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on local muscle load in production processes. The performed analysis evaluates the state of the load on specific lines. The diploma thesis is complemented by preventive measures that should reduce the load.
Risk analysis of selected accidents
Vakhrameev, Nikita ; Tabas, Marek (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
This subject of this thesis is the risk analysis of selected accidents. The aim is to analyze risk based on typical accidents, which are the main causes of chemical substances leakage . The practical part includes an estimation of the hazard zones and their impact on each substance, in case of leakage.
Possible Applications of High-Speed Camera Systems in Industry
Hudeček, Jan ; Kotek, Luboš (referee) ; Doňarová, Jana (advisor)

Link robots
Szabari, Mikuláš ; Kotek, Luboš (referee) ; Simeonov, Simeon (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the configuration of the link robots. It is divided into three parts. The first part interprets the robots, their division and ranked link robots into this division. The second part addresses the issue of the single cell structure and configuration of the whole robot. It also addresses workspace, location of endpoint and create a model. The third section discusses control systems, actuators and sensors.
Assessment of the operator reliability of the selected machine
Jakl, Tomáš ; Rozehnalová, Jana (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
The master thesis is focused on the reliability of the human factor in the operation of the production machine. In the first part the basic legislative requirements for safety and reliability of work are presented. In the second part, the reliability of the human factor is discussed along with a description of selected methods for assessing the reliability of the human factor. The research section then concludes with a proposed methodology for human factors assessment for the manufacturing process. In the practical part, the proposed methodology is applied to the selected process, which includes risk identification and outputs from the selected methods. The thesis then concludes by recommending preventive measures to eliminate the identified risks.
Risk analysis of selected types of operated machine tools
Bernatík, Michal ; Kotek, Luboš (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
The thesis summarizes the legislative requirements for the operation of machines in the Czech Republic and the European Union. This thesis deals in detail with the analysis of technical standards related to machining tools, followed by the risk analysis of a specific machining tool operated in laboratories of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Brno University of Technology. The result of the thesis is the processing of identified risks and compliance with legislative requirements for the operation of the machining tool.
Safety audit in a plant for the preparation of concrete
Palička, David ; Trávníček, Petr (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
In this thesis I focus on a safety audit in a plant for the preparation of concrete carried out according to Self-Audit Handbook for SMEs. In the first part some examples of accidents in plants for the preparation of concrete in Czech Republic as well as in abroad are stated. In the second part I describe the subject of work injury in Czech Republic and the obligations of employees and employers in accordance with the labour code. The third part deals with the safety management, occupational health and safety management system and briefly covers various types of audits. The next part analyses briefly concrete composition and its production process, the function of plant for the preparation of concrete and safety requirements demanded from the plant for the preparation of concrete in accordance with an appropriate standard. The last part describes the audit itself processed according to Self-Audit Handbook for SMEs at two plants. The aim of this thesis is to process and to evaluate results of two audits that took place at plans for preparation of the concrete and to propose corrective actions and process improvements.
