Design of selected load-bearing elements of reinforced concrete structure
Strmeň, David ; Čairovič, Dorde (referee) ; Kostiha, Vojtěch (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design and assess the reinforced concrete structure of a two-storey car park for ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state. The thesis includes the design of a locally supported slab over the 1st floor, including the design of columns. The analysis of the internal forces on the slab is carried out using SCIA Engineer software and verified by manual calculation using the alternate frame method. Drawing documentation of the proposed elements is an integral part of the work.
Design of concrete structures using modern composite materials
Badány, Kristián ; Januš, Ondřej (referee) ; Kostiha, Vojtěch (advisor)
In the first part, this work deals with basic information about non-metallic reinforcement and its general design, in the second part the prefabricated supporting wall is assessed. The support wall is designed in several variants: in the first variant for classical reinforcement reinforcement and in other variants it is for composite reinforcement. The entry of the support structure is the same for all variants. Calculation is processed by Fib Bulletin No. 40 and complies with ČSN EN.
Behaviour of reinforced concrete columns confined with FRP wrap
Niesner, Jakub ; Čairović, Dorde (referee) ; Kostiha, Vojtěch (advisor)
Strengthening of reinforced columns confining by modern composite materials is effective method, allows quickly realized strengthening, without increase dimension of strengthening columns. Just like using reinforcing bars, is the mainly assumption for this method the multi-axis state tension and deducing confining pressure, which will increase strength of concrete. Improved of properties of confining concrete can be determined by using relationships, but there are considerably differences. This diploma theses, dealing with strengthening of circular reinforced columns confinement by external FRP fabric, compared approaches to design of reinforced concrete by confining and using the results of an analytical and numerical study to describe problem of confining concrete and compare factors influencing the final properties of the wrapped concrete.
Prefabricated reinforced concrete hall with crane track
Velecký, Tomáš ; Kostiha, Vojtěch (referee) ; Požár, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on static solution of prefabricated reinforced concrete hall with crane runway. Specifically, the cross-section of the hall, which consists of rectangular columns and a T-profile reinforced concrete truss, is solved here. The load on the structure is transmitted to the subsoil by calyx-reinforced concrete pavements. The bachelor thesis deals with the design and assessment of individual structural elements. Elements are dimensioned according to ČSN EN 1992-1-1: Design of concrete structures - general rules and rules for building structures. In the drawing part of the bachelor thesis are drawn drawings of the assembly of parts, shapes and reinforcement of individual parts.
Reinforced concrete structure
Kučerková, Kristýna ; Kostiha, Vojtěch (referee) ; Šulák, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the construction of a multifunctional building on three floors, where shops will be located on the ground floor and offices are designed on the second and third floors. The ceiling slab is designed as reinforced concrete locally supported by columns, reinforced in both directions. To calculate the internal forces used Scia Engineer 1.18. To verify the accuracy of the results was used manual calculation. In the work is solved board on first floor and inner column. The work includes drawings of the slab and column reinforcement. The building is designed according to ČSN EN.
Statical solution of reinforced concrete structure
Velecká, Renata ; Kostiha, Vojtěch (referee) ; Zlámal, Martin (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with statical solution of structure of the office building. The theme of solution is reinforced concrete monolithic point-supported ceiling slab. It's supoported by columns and whole structure is completed by two reinforcing cores and reinforcing wall. Structure review is done according to the first limit state – carrying capacity.
Design of concrete structure using FRP reinforcement
Mrkvová, Kateřina ; Čairović, Dorde (referee) ; Kostiha, Vojtěch (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to carry out a structural design and design of reinforcement of a slab structure in two different variants. In the first one, typical reinforcing steel is used, the second variant is an alternative with composite FRP rebar by the top surface of the slab. Internal forces in the locally supported slab are analysed by SCIA Engineer software and the accuracy of the calculation is verified by equivalent frame method. The thesis includes structural design as well as drawings of reinforcement.
Static solution of reinforced concrete structure
Mašek, Petr ; Kostiha, Vojtěch (referee) ; Zlámal, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with study of feasibility of waterpark monolithic reinforced concrete structure with roof terrace. This structure has one underground floor, which has water park utility function and two above ground floors. On the roof is terrace with grass, mobile bar and with space to relax. Subject of this diploma thesis is the main loadbearing frame, which has span 32 m. The structure is assessed according to limit states of valid norms and also takes into account construction stages and time dependent analysis. The structure is calculated on beam and slab-plate structural models. Structural analysis and general drawings are done.
Reinforced concrete structure of a multifunction building
Gregorová, Michaela ; Kostiha, Vojtěch (referee) ; Šulák, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on design of two way slab of multiple building, elaborating drawing of shape and reinforcement drawing of solid ceiling tile. Solved ceiling tile is located above 1.NP. Calculation of internal forces is performed by the method of spare continuous beams and compared with results from calculation program SCIA Engineer. Reinforcement drawing are drawn in program AutoCAD with superstructure Recoc. Next part this bachelor deals staircase, which leads from 1.NP to 2.NP, this it is connected to the solved ceiling. Next is assessed internal wall, which is made of brick elements and below it, proposed foundation construction. For calculations has been used norm ČSN EN 1992.
Design of concrete structures reinforced with non-metallic FRP reinforcement
Golisová, Michaela ; Januš, Ondřej (referee) ; Kostiha, Vojtěch (advisor)
This diploma thesis investigates the design of concrete structures reinforced with non-metallic FRP reinforcement with a focus on solving the bearing capacity in extrusion. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part begins with an introduction to FRP reinforcement and a description of shear stress. The following is an introduction to current approaches dealing with this issue. In the practical part, in connection with these regulations, parametric studies are developed to compare the influence of individual input parameters and selected regulations. The last part is dedicated to the design and nonlinear analysis performed in the ATENA software.
