The content of microcystin in the chosen tissues at different fish species
Hlávková, J. ; Adamovský, Ondřej ; Oravec, M. ; Bláha, Luděk ; Mareš, J. ; Kopp, Radovan ; Palíková, M.
The aim of this study was to assess quantity of microcystins in muscle and hepatopancreas of different fish species (Cyprinus carpio, Oreochromis niloticus, Sander lucioperca and Esox lucius). Microcystins were detected in liver/hepatopancreas (hundreds of ng per gram of tissue) as in muscles (nanograms per gram of tissue). It seems that acumulation of microcystins in eatable parts of fishes represent only small risk for man.
Diversity and microcystins content of cyanobacteria in fish ponds (South Moravia, Czech Republic) related to fishery management intensity
Kopp, Radovan ; Ziková, Andrea ; Adamovský, Ondřej ; Brabec, T. ; Straková, L. ; Mareš, J.
During the vegetative period of the years 2005-2007 (June--October) we carried out hydrobiological and hydrochemical monitoring of selected ponds inhered in Southern Moravia in relation to different fishery management intensities. Water temperature, dissolved oxygen content, pH, conductivity and water transparency were monitored directly at taking place, N--NH4+, N--NO2-, N--NO3-, P--PO43- content and chlorophyll-a concentration were measured in hydrochemical laboratory.
The influence of feed protein intake on Nile tilapia ammonia production and consumption of oxygen
Kopp, Radovan ; Lang, Š. ; Ziková, Andrea ; Mareš, J.
This study investigated effects of fish closed in tested ponds with regullary evaluation of pH, oxygen saturation and ammonia concentration. These treatnebts were isoltaed from real environment.
