Biological and social predictors and correlates of human morality

In this dissertation, we delve into the multifaceted domains of biological and social factors influencing human morality. The connecting element of this collection of four studies is both an interest in human morality as a traditional philosophical topic and the use of methods from empirical sciences, particularly biology, behavioural, and cognitive sciences. The first study focuses on the moral algorithms in autonomous vehicles. We examined moral preferences regarding the choice between software types that differ in their built-in algorithms for dealing with lethal collisions. These are categorized into three specific types: selfish, altruistic, and conservative. Respondents exhibited a preference for the altruistic strategy, which is reinforced when signalled to others. The altruistic preference is the most pronounced when it applies to everybody else, weaker when it reflects only a personal choice, and the weakest when choosing for one's own child. We conclude that making a choice public significantly sways individuals towards a more socially beneficial solution. The second study investigates the relationship between parasite Toxoplasma gondii infection and its subsequent impact on human political beliefs and values. Tram Transport - Public Transportation Backbone

The work Tram transport as the backbone of public transport deals with the issue of tram transport as the main mode of transport in the city of Brno. Emphasis is placed on the history of the Brno system, including its connection with trolleybus transport. Furthermore, the current state of the Brno street railway and fast trams and their supplementation by trolleybus transport are described in detail, including the processing of socio-economic data that determine the system. In comparison with other cities in the Czech Republic, but also abroad, its positive and negative aspects are identified. Based on this information, the potential future development of the system is processed, especially the construction of new lines and the improvement of existing tracks.

The theme of my diploma thesis is Building and Technological Project for a residential building in Strážnice. This is a study of the implementation of major technological stages of object SO- 01 residential building, the project concerning the construction site installation, design the mechanical assembly, traffic solutions, technological process earthworks, foundation structures, piles CFA and reinforced concrete ceiling construction. The work includes further object schedule, financial plan, a detailed timetable for construction of residential building, the budget, the inspection and the test plan, safety hazards on a construction site in the implementation of the substructure object and thermal technical assessment of selected structures.

The thesis contains plant building site, technological instruction, budget, time schedule, control and trial plan, design and assessment of lifting mechanism and machinery used over construction, contract for work and safety report. Part of the thesis is specialization in sports surfaces.

Components of this thesis are technical report of equipment of building site, technological directives of building rehabilitation, control and test plans, proposal of technological directive, plan of safety and health protection during labour activity, environmental plan, budget and working timetable.

Diagnosis sliding contact using practical applications "Methods particulate"

This thesis deals with the sliding contact of electrical machines and its diagnostic methods. Namely, the dust-particles method for assessing the length decrease of brushes is deeply described. Then, usage of the method in industry is described. The comparison of accuracy between manual version and new automated version of the method using computer analysis is presented. The final section is devoted to the practical verification of the new automated version which was developed especially for large machines. Measurements were performed on a small machine.

Intelligent Control Methods in Automation of Process of Construction Machines Control

This work deals with the possibility of use of intelligent methods in construction machines control. These methods are based on GPS in combination with using laser and ultrasonic technology. There is in detail described especially control by robotic total station and 3D control, which includes digital model of construction site. The new trends of control are especially applied on the vibratory rollers. There are taken into consideration: achievement of sufficient degree of compaction on the basis of on-line information about conditions of subsoil.

Technological stage of the gross superstructure of the apartment house in Prague - Dablice

The work adresses the technological stage of the gross superstructure of the apartment house in Prague – Dablice. The house consist of reinforced concrete structure on the ground floor, three other floors in a brick form of pramic blocks Porotherm, ceilings above the second and third floor are composed of Spiroll prefabricated ceiling panel and roof structure is made up of gang nail trusses, thanks to this composition of house, it was necessary to address how to storage materials on the site, and also the arrival, departure and parking of vehicles. Technological regulativ is focused on concreting of the reinforced concrete monolithic framework.
